They were wonderful, really good. The price was fine for what they did and they were a little late but they are very professional. I would completely use them again in the future.

The grey water plumbing in our 1920's Heights bungalow was original cast iron, and in need of a complete replacement. Called Chavez and had no issues scheduling an inspection visit. He quickly ascertained what needed to be done. Fairly obvious this guy handles a lot of the Heights homes and is familiar with this kind of work. I called within the next few days and the team was out, digging a new trench and replacing the entire cast iron system, including that underneath the house, by the next day. This happened to be a Saturday. The entire job was completed from 10:00am - 3:00pm, including the hook-up to the city main. The trench was dug keeping the sod on top mostly whole, so that when the pipes were covered up the lawn was, more or less, replaced, as opposed to having a line of dug-up dirt in the middle of our yard running from my house to the city main. The price wasn't outrageous and given the quality of work I would recommend them. Much more for more complex, plumbing contracting type work. Like almost every other business, there will be times you need to step up and be firm or direct about certain things otherwise they will do it their way, but I got the feeling these folks are pretty genuine and honest. One recommendation: I wouldn't mention Angie's List (and the 10% discount) until after you get your quote.

They were great. They were very approachable and professional. They were also a lot cheaper than some of the other plumbers I have used. They guarantee their work and follow up with a phone call to make sure everything is o.k.

They arrived on time and were professional and competent. They cleaned up after themselves -- even laid down a tarp from the front door to bathroom. All materials being replaced were disposed of by them. When I needed to buy the manifold, they were able to schedule to come back two days later (on a Saturday) to complete the job without necessitating me taking additional time from work. This is the second time I have used them and will continue to do so because of the professional and competent service.

I called Chavez at 1:40 pm on Saturday, they arrived around 2:15 pm, diagnosed the sewer blockage, cleared it, and were done before 3 pm. The two plumbers were courteous and knowledgeable, and left the job site as clean as it started. It was an amazing experience.

Went very well. We had to reschedule at last minute and Chavez was very cooperative. Changed plans in middle of job to add more work and verified with Chavez himeslf to get work authorized for his on site personnel.

Called Chavez Plumbing to set up a visit for them to a**** the leaking shower valve and get an estimate for repair. Appointment set for 4 days after call. The technicians arrived within the estimated time window. They quickly inspected the shower valve and told me that I would need to replace the faucet assembly and valve body due to damage to the valve body assembly. The tech contact the main office to get an estimate. He ended up giving me two estimates: One with them supplying the parts and the other with me buying the parts. I told them I would buy the parts and call them back to set up an appointment for the installation. They were on site for less than 20-min. Two weeks after the initial visit I called back and set a time for the installation. The morning of the installation there were severe thunderstorms and heavy ran. Vickie called 2 hrs before the scheduled time to tell me that the Techs had not arrived at the shop and it would probably be best to reschedule the installation due to the bad weather. I agreed and re-set the time for the following Saturday. About 3 hours later, the storms had cleared the area and Vickie called me back letting me know that all the techs had made it in and if I would like to have them come out and do the install. I told, yes that would be great. The techs arrived within the estimated arrival time. The lead plumber quickly began the removal of the existing valve assembly. This was much more troublesome than he had thought due to the way the valve had been installed by the builders. Nevertheless, within 10-mins he had removed the old valve and had begun preparing the new valve for installation. While he was working on the installation of the valve body, his assistant was preparing the shower faucet for installation. After another 20-mins or so, the installation of the valve was completed. The tech and assistant had the faucet installed in about 10-mins and tested for leaks. The shower head connection had a small leak that was quickly fixed. The assistance had begun collecting the tools and cleaning up during this process. Total time to remove and reinstall faucet and valve approx 1-hour. The actual cost was slightly less than estimated (approx $20.00). I thanked both technicians for their time and told them I would be calling Chavez for all future pluming work. I was impressed by the communication with the office, especially for updating the schedules, and the openness of the technicians to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it. I will recommend this company to all my friends and coworkers.

They wanted $169 just to come out. We ended up calling someone else for the work that did the whole job for less than his service charge.

I called at 7:30 am Monday. They arrived at 10:30 and were done by 11:15. They were professional and polite. I would use them again. Realizing that there were two of them, and they had to drive over 30 miles from their supplier to our house, a charge of $94.50 seems fair.

The plumbers were on time and efficient. They arrived on time and immediately began work. They told us precisely what they did and why they did it. The work is perfect. As a matter of fact, the new faucet, which was exactly the same model as the old, works better than the old one ever did and looks great! All this and the price was extremely reasonable. Chavez Plumbing has become our plumber!

Prompt appointment, punctual arrival. Two plumbers spent ~ 3hrs each cutting access routes to the shower piping(there was none before)....made nice smooth cuts that will facilitate hinged doors in case we ever have to go back in. I thought $585 was quite reasonable considering current plumbing rates. They had to go at least twice for parts so you can imagine how long it would have taken us to try this project....try an all day affair and having to call the plumber anyway. I was pleased all the way around.
