I have used them for more than 15 years. I have been very satisfied. They designed the system that they put in 15 years ago. They are very prompt and they will get you in if you have a problem as long as you have a service contract with them. The service contract is the key. There are cheaper companies out there, but you get what you pay for. I would use them in the future if I needed to.

I own a 30 year old contemporary home. Since buying the house the master bedroom suite has always experienced uneven temperatures. The master bedroom will experience a 2 degree differential from the rest of the house and the master closet as much as a 10 degree differential. I invited four HVAC companies to visit my home and recommend solutions for correcting the uneven temperatures, as well as assess the efficiency of the entire HVAC system. All four companies recommended a complete system replacement. However, Brian Dietzmann with Central City Air also offered an alternative to replacing the entire system. Replacing the entire HVAC system was cost prohibitive; Mr. Dietzmann, Central City Air?s System Design Consultant Director, offered an affordable and reasonable alternative solution to correct my biggest issue. Mr. Dietzmann explained how my existing system was design, how it was improperly installed and what it would take to correct the system?s performance. He provided a detailed, itemized, priced set of possible solutions and explained the value of each component and how each would improve performance. Central City Air's, not to exceed, time and material cost estimate to replace existing ductwork, add air-balancing dampers, install a outlet in the master bedroom closet, correct the improper wiring of the system and install a 2 stage cooling thermostat seemed like a good investment and a probable solution for the issues. Installation day the crew of two was about 30 minutes late arriving but quickly got to work. They were personable, reviewed with me the work they would be doing and were careful to protect my home. Mr. Dietzmann arrived shortly after the crew and climbed into the attic to discuss the work. A third employee came to install the new thermostat and control wiring. He programmed the thermostat and then stood by to make sure I knew how to reprogram the unit. After the work was completed the HVAC technician explained all they had done and found and walked from room to room with me to make sure the air flow was comfortable for me. Mr. Dietzmann had also explained a return air balancing trip during the summer months was also included in the cost. My experience with Central City Air was completely enjoyable and the positive experience was further accentuated when I received the invoice - significantly lower than the original estimate to do the job! The summer months will be the true test of this solution to completely resolve the uncomfortably warmer temperatures in the master suite, but I am certain this was a good investment and certainly worth the money! I highly recommend Central City Air, Brian Dietzmann, Santiago, Guadalupe and Jay for analyzing, designing and installing your new air conditioning and heating system.

Central City came to my house and inspected the units in place and gave me a detailed bid for replacement. They replaced the unit in my garaged apartment but they were not happy with the way the heater was functioning, though I thought it was functioning fine. The next day they replaced the unit. When the compressor made an unusual noise, Central City examined it and replaced it with a new unit that is much quieter and functions perfectly. There was never any question that they were willing and ready to replace it if it did not function they way that Central City expected. They replaced both heating and air conditioning units in the house and created fresh air returns and placed central filters that were supposed to cut down on dust. The work was professional, neat and very good quality. The technicians put new decking down around the units and suspended them from the rafters. The air quality in the house has improved dramatically, just as Brian said it would. The units are quieter and more efficient than what we had but the air quality is really so much better that we are very happy we made the decision to have Central City do the work. Central City's bid was in the higher range of bids that we obtained but the work they proposed and eventually did was far more comprehensive than that proposed by the others. I also spent a fair amount of time with Brian and he explained the reasoning behind the choices they were offering. Central City's bid seemed to be based on the science behind this very complex situation we have here in Houston with the humidity and heat. My wife and I have gone back into the attic and just been amazed at the difference in the old equipment that we had and what we have now. No comparison at all. The installation by Central City is pristine. I am so very happy that we made the decision to have Central City Air do the work and will continue to have them provide all of our heating and AC needs.

It has been very positive, we moved into a house that we had to do some extra work on the air conditioning system, he did a very good job and he did an excellent job cleaning up after himself, they have competitive prices.

They were prompt and did a great job. The guy that came out went and took a look at the coils, because we were concerned about mold. He went to the attic and photographed everything. I would highly recommend them. They installed our air conditioner previously. The only bad thing is that it takes a while to get someone out.

Two weeks later when my unit froze up due to a plugged drain pipe, I contacted another company to come out and give an estimate. That each went outside and took off the exterior grills on the compressor then called me outside to show me what he found. I saw a unit that was so caked with mud that was so bad; there was GRASS growing up the mud on the inside of the compressor! When I contacted Central City Air, they reluctantly gave me a 50% credit, but it look about 3 months.

The AC was unable to get the temperature down below 85F due to low coolant. I liked the service I got. They responded in a timely fashion to my service call and scheduled a fast visit. The technician was thorough and friendly. No surprises on cost. Only downside is on Saturdays you get after hours voicemail.

I feel that Central City did a great job. They cleaned up every bit off mess and left nothing laying around for me to clean at all. I do not recall the charge for this service, but, I will tell you this, they are a top of the line company who always gives off the highest bid. They do very good and you always get what you pay for with them I have used them before and have been pleased then as well.

This company had one of the very best quotes we had received from the many companies we checked out. We were very happy with the job that this company did for us. They told us what would be the most energy efficient system to get, so we went with their decision. These guys had the new system installed properly in one day. We might need this kind of work done to our home in the future, and we will definitely use their services again.

I thought their prices were high compared to what others charge, but I had already been warned by other people who had used them. I went ahead and used them since I had heard they did good work. Even though it cost more to use this company, it was worth it because of the quality of their work. They were professional, and I am happy with our new system they put in.

I would highly recommend them to other people without question. The system went in without any trouble or a big mess. It runs great and is very energy efficient. I thought they were nice people. I feel I got a good deal also.

The man who installed our air conditioner had to come back three times to get it working right. Every time he had to come back because the air conditioner wasnt working right he seemed to get more and more upset. The last time he was here he was really rude and didnt want to listen to what we had to say.

This company left me feeling like a satisfied customer. I have not a clue what I paid them at the time but I recall that it was fair. I had no major problems with this company. As a result, I would tell others they are a great business.

The person who gave the quote was very knowledgable and the quote was delivered in a very professional and extremely detailed manner.

Work was done on time, with no issues. Workers were very polite, and professional. They removed all debris from premises. They advised that I didn't need to replace my outside unit at the time, as it would probably last another 2-3 years. This was refreshing, as I would definitely have bought that as well. I have called them for repairs on my central heat, which they did not install, and found them easy to schedule and very thorough in their work. It seems that everyone who has worked in my home has been an employee of the company.

I was very satisfied with their work. They were very friendly, neat and I had no problems with the service. They installed a high quality unit into my home, which cost a little more, but it was worth it. They responded quickly with an estimate, and also they removed my old unit.

Every spring the technicians come out to check the air conditioning, right before summer. There are complete diagnostics tests, looking for inefficiencies, and problems that might arise when it gets hot. The same thing is done to the furnace in the fall, right before it gets cold. I like the technicians Central sends, they're so outgoing, and they try to explain things so I can understand.

They come right out which was important because it was in the heat of summer. We waited and they showed up. To our delight, they could fix it right away. The serviceman explained what had went bad and we felt great about his assessment. When the repair was done, our air conditioning unit ran like a brand new one. We couldn't have been more happy or satisfied.

They are really easy to compromise with on the times to come out to work. The employees show up when they say they will. I have used them for quite some time & I havent had any problems with them or with my equipment. They havent had to come back out since the air conditioner/furnace was installed except for checkups on the unit.
