BI-RITE FURNITURE INC

I purchased a leather-like living room set in May 2018. I use the love seat daily and have no issues with it at all. However, the sofa is rarely used but it is ripping at the seams. I called today to report the issue and was advised by “JB” that there’s a one-year warranty on the furniture and that my particular set has been discontinued. So it seems I’m stuck with this piece. I asked for a recommendation as it relates to repairing the sofa, but JB had no suggestions.

After giving us a quote over the phone, with an addendum that the price was only good (and without TAX) if we paid in cash today. I had to scramble to get the cash on my lunch break and then traveled way out of the way to get there, and not only did he bring the price back up, but he tried to charge tax, which were the 2 stipulations that made us take the trip in the first place. He was extremely rude when we explained that we brought only what cash we had agreed on over the phone. He kept talking over me, with a tone that indicated that he did not give a s**t what I had to say. If you have the option, go elsewhere. Buying furniture made of sticks and rocks would be more satisfying than the horrible feeling you will take away after being jerked around and condescended to by these guys. If you want a place where the sales people condescend, lie and generally treat you like crap, then by all means, go to Bi-Rite and ask for "Big Willie." Seriously, that's what he said his name is.
