Description of Work: I called Appliance Cowboys to redeem my "deal". A lady answered the phone and told me a service person would contact me to look at it. I did receive a timely call back and he was scheduled to look at stovetop on b/ween 8-10 am on June 21. He called me 15 minutes before and told me he would need to reschedule it b/ween 4-5 pm on same day. I told my fiance, who had been waiting on him for the 8-10 window that he would come out 4-5. He did show up and looked at stove. He called me to say he turned it on and it was on and working. I told him, yes, I know but give it 15 minutes and it will start blinking and burners will shut off. We discussed why it messed up in first place: liquid damage to board. He said to replace it, it would require another tech there and special doesn't cover it and that I needed to call you to get refund.

Description of Work: I was out of the providers area of service. HOWEVER, After hearing my problem they were nice enough to give me some tips as to why my dryer wasn't working properly. Very very helpful and i was able to fix the problem myself. (There was a Bird nest in my Dryer duct there was nothing wrong with the actual dryer) So they actually saved me money by just being honest. Thank you.

Description of Work: Our story: When our dryer smelled, I got an Angie's list deal (for 1 hour labor including up to 2 visits) and called these folks. They were quick to schedule us and polite. Marco arrived on time, diagnosed our problem that we needed a new plug (which he did not have on the truck), and a new electric wall socket. So we got the electrician and Marco returned to replace the plug. He wore shoe covers and was very professional and quick. We only paid extra for the new cord with new plug. We are off and drying. Repair: Replaced cord and plug on Maytag dryer

Description of Work: Fixed a leaking clothes washer......the leak was caused by myself not properly closing a drain. The repairman pointed out my dumb mistake and closed the valve. I was convinced it was the gasket and he could have easily sold me a new part but he made the repair in minutes and I was back in business. Like most people when water is running all over the floor I panicked luckily I had an honest repairman.
