 + 0 moreI met with them on Thursday, the 11th, signed the contract and they were here at 8am on Friday, 13th and worked straight through until 2 pm completing the work. They were very professional, on time, cleaned up their mess, filled the holes, cleaned up everything so well that except for the house no longer shaking, you would not have known they were here.
Description of Work: They worked on house pier and beam foundation. They added 16 support stands under existing sills in the middle of the house. They used 16x16x4 base blocks with standard 8x8x16 leveling blocks and they raised the shaker sills slightly to support floor shaking -- stabilized only. They shimmed existing blocks under middle sills.

 + 0 moreHis estimate was about average in terms of price, but he got under the house and looked to see what was actually wrong with the building - more so than any other contractors I called out for estimates. He actually impressed me the most in terms of knowledge and pointing out what could be fixed and what could stay the same, but I went with another contractor because of a lower price. However, I called Bill Marks back to finish up what the contractor did not finish (floor leveling).
Description of Work: He came out and gave an estimate on leveling my floors and installing piers on a pier and beam house.

 + 0 moreBill Marks gave me an estimate within a day of my initial call and was able to have his crew out to do the work the next day. After inspecting the work, I asked them to further reinforce two piers that I thought were still a little weak & add one additional, which they did at no extra charge. Great service.
Description of Work: All Texas reinforced the existing piers and added additional piers along an addition on the back of my house.

He also quoted me a rough estimate for certain areas in the event I wanted "perfection" with my older home. He was honest about the tile possibly cracking when we eventually do get work the work done. I will probably call him when were ready to get the "perfection".
Description of Work: Bill came out for an estimate. He seemed to be very honest about the condition of the house. He took the time to show me with his equipment, the leveling.

 + -1 moreMark was our rep and did a good job. The price quoted was not the cheapest bid nor the most expensive and seemed right on the money. The crew was good and the work went incredibly fast! We were quite pleased with the job.
Description of Work: They put in 11 pilings around our house to level it. They raised the house so that the 3 inch discrepancy was reduced to about a 1/4 inch. This work allowed us to finally complete our other home repairs. The workers were neat and made sure no dirt was tracked in and were quite patient with our cocker spaniel when she got out and decided to investigate the holes.

 + 0 moreI described the issue to Bill on the phone and he gave me an estimate of $2000 based on what I said, the size of the house and other pier and beam houses he'd worked on in my area. When he came by and inspected the house, he said I really didn't need the work done. He said I should get some of the joists replaced/repaired but that I could have a carpenter take care of it and it would be cheaper. He was a very nice man. I appreciated his honesty and suggestions.
Description of Work: I had some soft spots in my floor and a few cracks in the walls and thought I might need to level the house. I wanted to get an opinion on extent of repair and an estimate.

 + -1 moreDID A GOOD JOB ON THE FOUNDATION, BUT THEY HAD TO REMOVE SOME SIDING FROM THE HOUSE AND IT WAS NOT PROPERLY RE-INSTALLED. THEY PROMISED TO RETURN AND FIX THE PROBLEM BUT NEVER DID. ALSO LEFT A MESS IN YARD. SOFT DRINK BOTTLES AND LUNCH DEBRIS.

HOWEVER, ALL TEXAS LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSPECTOR ANTHONY VENTO DID INDICATE TO ME THAT, IF THESE COSMETIC REPAIRS ARE MADE AND THERE IS A PROBLEM IN THE FUTURE WITH A BUILDING INSPECTION, ALL TEXAS WILL GET INVOLVED.
Description of Work: IN SEPTEMBER 1995 WE CONTRACTED TO ALL TEXAS TO LEVEL OUR RESIDENTIAL FOUNDATION. WE WERE PLEASED WITH THIS WORK BUT THE CRACKS OPENED UP AGAIN IN OCTOBER 2000. ALL TEXAS INSPECTED THE DAMAGE AND SAID THE FOUNDATION IS STILL LEVEL AND DOES NOT NEED TO BE RE-RAISED. AFTER UTILIZING NEIGHBORS IN ACTION IN DECEMBER 2004, ALL TEXAS SENT OUT A DIFFERENT INSPECTOR WITH THE SAME RESULTS - THE EXISTING CRACKS MAY NOT BE CORRECTABLE WITHOUT CREATING OTHER PROBLEMS. HE RECOMMENDED REPAIRING THE SHEET ROCK CRACKS AND RESTORING THE CRACKS IN THE EXTERIOR BRICK AND MORTAR.
