He put in the door OK (but the nails holding the drywall on the finished side of the living protruded out in a couple places.) He patched where the original closet studs were with 4+" pieces of drywall versus using the new 4' x 8' drywall sheets provided to make it clean and smooth. The drywall looks like a patch job, it was not smooth (without lumps) and textured appropriately. I had to ask him to come back and he seemed irritated that he had to. Even the rework of the sheet rock was not adequate. Still looks like a patch job. He didn't use a nail set to recess the finishing nails in the molding and putty to be ready to paint as we agreed to. He also left drywall dust allover the furniture in the room he was working in, a mess in the garage, drywall putty on a doorknob, sawdust on my front porch. There was a couple days before he returned from a family matter and picked up his check, he didn't even look in the room where he worked or ask me if I was satisfied.

"I did not use the customers material because he had the wrong size so I used my own and did not charge him for it ,I was compleat in the time frame I told him I would be, and he was responsable for the debrie ,He did the demo and if you think it takes a 4x8 sheet of drywall to do a 4inch patch then stick to what you do and not Drywall I could not have gotten drywall mud on the door handel as I was not the one that put it on, not in our agreement he put the knob on after i was gone ,all though he did try to get me to do extra for no extra charge and that is where he got upset .If he was to call me back I would turn down his job and I resolved any issue he had before he gave e the check notice you cant see any things in the pics of any of the work I preformed !! His pricing is reasonable and he is licensed, bonded and insured. He is quite reliable and can do everything from plumbing to carpentry and electrical. He is very reliable, trustworthy, does good work and he is very reasonable. He responds to me right away, but sometimes he has to schedule the work out.
