In my opinion, there are many fine and reputable Title companies to choose from when going through a purchase and sale of a property.  As such, I would highly recommend choosing a different closing company.  Do not trust the marketing materials or lack of reviews on the internet - good or bad.  Once you are in the chair at closing, it is too late to wish you were in another closing companies office.
Some basic details :
- I used the Katy office
- Nancy Fox was the closing agent
- Delays and errors were found throughout the closing proceeding, as well as the prepared documents
- Once closing occurred, there was the WORST IMAGINABLE customer service when I discovered errors that I needed their assistance with.
Worst Imaginable customer service, as defined by me :
- not being available via phone
- not returning voicemails
- taking multiple days to weeks, to respond to an email
- not following through with action based on promises / commitments to do so
- being rude and obnoxious with repetition
My advice is simple : RUN, don't walk away from this company.  There are many other fine companies to choose from that all offer similar services.  I spoke to many based on my experience here at Alamo, and I can tell you all I contacted seemed to be a lot more interested in the customer than Alamo was.
