After getting the estimate, I called Ken about a week later to give the project the green light. Construction started about a week after that, and there was a slight delay in getting the project started, but nothing that was unreasonable by any means and Ken was quick to keep me informed.
Once they arrived, they dropped the hammer and quickly had the old fence out and then set the posts for the new fence. Came back the next day and framed it and got the pickets up. Took a few hours on the third day to finish the gate, as well as a gate for a neighbor (replaced the section that went between our houses.
Overall, they did a great job and the fence looks amazing. They cleaned up after themselves , which I appreciate because nothing is worse than a sloppy contractor. Thankfully I shouldn't need a fence for a long time now, but if I did, I would not hesitate to contact Affordable Fence and deal with Ken and his crew.

My co-worker gave me Ken's contact information as she had used Affordable fencing when she replaced her fence 5 years ago. I also found the service to be very professional and would also highly recommended using the company to replace your fencing. The quality was excellent and the price was easily comparable to other companies that just used day labor. I wanted a quality job at a reasonable price, not a cheap job that I would regret in 2 years. Thankfully Affordable fence provided both! I received an very high quality job at at a very reasonable price!
I had 3 different bids for the work and Affordable was in the middle of the estimates, based on cost per foot, however from viewing my co-workers fence and the quality of the others workmanship, I could tell the quality was much higher. Ken (owner) was on site directing the work and building the gates. Ken custom built 2 gates that are very heavy duty and should last years. All of the pickets, post and latches are very high quality. I am very pleased with the quality of the fence and want to recommend to others.
If you are looking to have your wooden fence replaced, I would highly recommend Affordable Fencing!
