The move was a breeze (for me)! The company stays in contact with you prior to the move via email. They let you know once a team has been assigned, who to expect as your team leader, and emails you copies of all the contracts and receipts immediately (all done on sight with an iPad).
I was the second move of the day, so wasn't quite sure when the move would start. I received a call from the team leader about 2 hours before giving me an approximate time and again about 30 minutes before letting me know they were on their way.
The team leader, DARIO BOCANEGRA, was OUTSTANDING. I highly suggest requesting him for your move!!!!! He is professional, hardworking, takes extra care with the items and is a great team leader. It is clear that the team of guys that works with him respects him as a coworker and a leader. I cannot say enough about Dario. He made the move so seamless and easy. When he got to my house he took note of all our stuff and gave me an approximate time of completion. We talked out the options and decided it would be best to request a second truck. (2 trucks and 6 guys total). IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT!! And, after doing the math, it ended up being cheaper than just one truck because 6 guys WAS SUPER FAST!
The second team leader wasn't quite as impressive as Dario. It was obvious Dario was the stand out employee. He took control of both teams and made them wrap the furniture better, take care with the boxes, etc.

I could not have been more satisfied with the experience. I used a cheaper competitor with only 2 movers when I moved out and they damaged my home in several places as well as dinging several pieces of furniture. 3MenMovers were easy to schedule, sent me all the info I needed online, accommodated a schedule change with no issue, showed up promptly and did an excellent job with the move. I have never experienced a move where I did not see a single instance of the house or furniture getting damaged (even minor) but I can say 3MenMovers did just that. They put down pads and runners to protect my hardwood floors and took better care of the furniture that I would have.
The 3 movers were very professional and even helped assemble my bed frames. I was most impressed with how they handled the refrigerator (this is where the previous movers caused so much damage on the way out). 3MenMovers took the fridge all the way around the front of the house and took the handles off since that door was a bit wider than the back. They had all the tools necessary to make it a quick operation.
The pay/checkout process was also seamless as they had an iPad with a credit card reader for easy payment. All in all we finished in about 1 hour and I was happy to pay the 2 hour minimum. Having the 3rd mover was a huge upgrade compared to just having 2. Although priced slightly higher compared to the budget guys, I will be calling 3MenMovers for all my future moving needs!
