We hired them to do our patio in 2006 when we moved in our house. We were pleased with their workmanship so we decided to have them extend the patio cover another 12'. So far we are very happy. The salesman, Felix is very knowledgeable and they had the job complete in just a day.

The representative from 21st Century spent about an hour reviewing the patio renovation work I wanted done. We discussed at lenth the various components of work, and the process and materials to be used. He took measurements and showed me examples of like work 21st century has done. He left with a promise to provide the cost estimates within a couple of days. After a week, I sent an email asking when I could expect his estimate. It's now been 10 days and I still have received neither the cost estimate nor the courtesy of a response to my follow up email.

Subsequent to the posting above on 6/5/13, I was contacted by phone by a representive from 21st Century on 6/18/13. He apologized for the company's delayed action in providing an estimate. He and the president of the company made another site visit and promptly provided their estimate for the work on the same day. I have upgraded my previous rating in recognition of their latest efforts.

The work originally started in 2003 when they installed the windows. They guaranteed their work, but four of the windows needed to be replaced and that work started in July 2010. They had to come back to warrantee their work. The windows only cost $300, but it probably cost me $1000 in my time and effort. I was the one who had to call and remind them over and over that they still had not repaired the windows. I have spent hours and weeks and months on the phone. In fact, I might have to do this every week to call them because it still isn't done. He came in July 2010 and measured three windows and left. Then, in October 2010, after several follow-ups, he asked us to read the numbers on the windows. He was not able to find our records and couldn't find the company that he had ordered the windows from in 2003. Therefore, he was having trouble trying to track down how to warrantee the work. We read the labels that were in the windows in October 2010 and I then produced window warrantee paperwork that he had sent us in 2003. He was then able to use that information to figure out what company he bought the windows from to install here. He himself had no record of us as the customer. This was the second time we used him since he had put 19 windows in our previous home. We were a repeat customer of his and so satisfied that we had him come back to our second home to put new windows. He then showed up in January 2011 after multiple calls and threats and replaced two windows. He was not following up at all and there was always an excuse. Then, when the laborers showed up to put the windows in, we found that one of the glasses that he had ordered for the windows was the wrong size. So he couldn't replace one of the three. The fourth window did not need the glass to be replaced. It was actually the track that was broken and it doesn't go up and down. The contractor re-measured the window for which the glass size was wrong and told us that he would order the glass and also fix the track of the fourth window. There has been no response ever since. We have called several times but there have been no return calls. Then he called and gave us some more excuses, but it came down to the fact that they had never ordered the glass again. His workers had to come out and take measurements again so that they could order the glass. He came and replaced the glass for the third window three weeks ago but the fourth window with the track issue is yet to be fixed. There has been no response, no phone calls, nothing, but they have sent me an invoice recently for the labor charges. I will not use them again.
