Sergio's Crown Molding

I obtained Sergio's name from Angie's List after reading the posted reviews. The consistent praise for his (and his wife's) work is accurate. Sergio was totally professional from the first encounter on the phone to set up an appointment to discuss the work, to his onsite evaluation, to his completion of the project. I was a little unsure about whether to install crown in the tray ceiling but Sergio told me he had done a lot of them and that they really looked good. I appreciated that he was not trying to upsell the job, but he wanted us to consider it since we were already making additions. Sergio and Rosa are an excellent team; they installed, caulked, and painted all molding...after painting the molding with a first coat before they came to our home to do the work. They are neat, punctual, respectful, careful, professionals who know how to do their job. They specialize in molding...crown and baseboard...and it shows. And, he was right...the tray ceiling with crown molding looks amazing. If you are in search of crown molding, call Sergio.

Sergio and his wife Rosa did a wonderful job! The entire house was fitted with crown molding, and the job took only a day and a half. I would recommend them for any crown molding installation.

I phoned Sergio and asked that he give me an estimate for my small job of installing some crown molding and baseboard in a bathroom. We agreed on a day and time and he arrived exactly as scheduled. Very dependable. He gave me a fair price for the job and I agreed. He had the time to do the job right then and there and I already had all my material purchased. The job was estimated and completed in under three hours. It was some of the best work that I have seen. He came with all his tools and supplies. No leaving to pick up this or that. He made no mess in my home. He completely cleaned up all his scraps from my driveway. The miter cuts are perfect. The joints are undetectable. A very fine craftsman. I will definitely use him again.

Over all Sergio is great at what he does and not only did I have more base moulding done than I had planned originally but also had him do crown molding which also came out beautiful. He does quality work and takes pride in doing so. He is courteous and professional and i will and I have already recommended him to someone else. Overall an excellent experience and the change in my home was remarkable and well worth doing.

Professional, polite, clean. Gave my wife estimate over the phone. Came to do the work with two types of molding. installed, painted, cleaned up in less than one day. Could not have asked for better service.

Sergio arrived on time as agreed and began working immediately. He started by placing protective cloth on the floor and begain taking measurements of the ceiling in the entry way. Molding was cut for the entry way and then installed. Each area was done the same way until all areas were completed. He then went back and caulked and painted all the molding. The job lasted a total of 5 hours from the time he rang the door bell to the time he drove off. It was amazing to see how proficient and accurate he was in his work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have crown molding installed and in fact using him again to stall additional molding in the bedroom.

I called Sergio one morning, and he was able to come out that same afternoon to give me an estimate on my dining room. He brought pieces of his crown molding to show me what it would look like with different sizes. His prices just can't be beat. We set up a date for installation a few days after that. He was very punctual, efficient, and professional. He gave me an estimate for the rest of the house should I choose to place crown molding in the remainder of the house. I will without a doubt go to him once I'm ready for more home improvements. Absolutely worth calling!

We cannot say enough good things about Sergio. They were prompt, efficient and did a fabulous instillation. He came to look at the job, matched the grown in another area of our house, painted it before he came to instill it. We recommended them to some friends that really liked their work. They have already used them to install crown molding through their downstairs as well. Price is great, workmanship is great. We will be having them bid on molding for the upstairs in the next phase of our remodel. No concerns or reservations with this company.

Sergio, with his wife assisting, did a fantastic job. The job took the amount of time he said it would; they were both very meticulous about the work; they were extremely careful as they brought long pieces of molding through my house, moved ladders around, etc.; the cost was very competitive and reasonable. I had molding put in rooms that had vaulted and tray ceilings, as well as standard ceilings, and he did a great job. Additionally, some of the corners in my home are rounded, and he cut the molding in a rounded fashion to fit perfectly in those corners. There was minimal clean-up when the job was finished. I cannot recommend Sergio highly enough for this type of job.

My husband and I have wanted crown molding in our home for sometime. We had considered doing the work ourselves, but after working on other DIY projects, we decided to have the job professionally done, Sergio's was the third bid we received. After meeting with him and receiving his bid, we decided to give the job to Sergio. I wanted the paint on the crown molding to match my other trim. Sergio had no problem using our paint. On the day of installation he arrived on time, and completed the entire job in one day. He was assisted by his wife and daughter. The crown molding is beautiful. I would definitely recommend his work, and would not hesitate to use his services again, Thanks for a job well done.

Sergio was courteous from the very first phone interaction- professional and accommodating. He came over and did the estimate on a Sunday afternoon and was able to give me a quote on the spot (thanks to Angie's $3/foot deal!). He described in detail the process and that it would be himself and either his wife or brother and that they could definitely do the job in 8 hours or less. We coordinated on a date and he provided all materials, including paint to match the existing molding. He arrived promptly on the date and worked quickly and efficiently, caulking as he went with his wife following to do the detail work. He was also able to replicate the existing style of molding around round corners so it looks like the house was built that way! They were able to work around all furniture with minimal displacement and put everything back exactly as it was. The whole process was neat and clean and they were done in about 6 hours. They did such a great job I won't be needing his services again, but would recommend him to anyone and everyone!

They are pretty good. They were very professional. He works for a living, so he's pretty fast. There were no surprises.

I saw them working at a neighbors home. I stopped and asked if they would give me an estimate to do my bedroom. Once I saw the work on the bedroom, I hired them to do almost all of my rooms in my home. They did a wonderful job, were always on time and very reasonable for the amount of work they did. They were great about cleaning up afterwards. They were very pleasant to work with and the price they quoted was accurate. I highly recommend them.

Sergio arrived at our home as scheduled, to provide an estimate on installing crown molding in our first floor rooms. We have a 3200sq-ft house and our intention was to complete the first floor, then do the second floor at a later date. We had a lengthy discussion on how the work would be accomplished, timeframe, and project cost. We were so impressed with his professionalism and the price estimate that we immediately decided to have Sergio do the whole house right then. The following week he and his wife showed up at the scheduled time with pre-painted wood to match our existing doors and molding, and went right to work. Sergio would measure, cut and install the molding, and his wife would follow along filling nail holes and doing touchup paint work. Their constant attention to detail was very impressive. They worked tirelessly and completed our entire house in two days. The finished molding has a flawless appearance and we are amazed at the difference the crown molding makes to the look of our home. I highly recommend Sergio to anyone looking to install crown or chair molding in their home. He does outstanding work!

A great experience, start to finish -- Sergio arrived on time to provide an estimate, with sample moulding in hand. We discussed what I wanted done and I provided him with the specific paint color/number to use, to match the rest of our moulding. On the first day of the project, Sergio was here by 9am (a bit later than the 8am time he had quoted me) and he and his wife were like machines! They worked very hard, and very quickly -- and the moulding looked beautiful. He had painted it off-site and had used the wrong finish, but once we went and bought another gallon of paint in the right color, he repainted all of the moulding once it was up (and patched/caulked). Amazing attention to detail -- the moulding looks fantastic and I've already recommended him to many of my neighbors!
