Making the appointment was a breeze. The sales rep however must not have been in a good mood. As a former sales rep, I would have established a rapport with the potential client and definitely would have allowed the individual to take a seat before “starting right in with the 'negatives' about the product.” Okay, perhaps had I not been so vocal in my sticker shock, the rep might have taken a measurement, or shown a product sample, or made an analysis to determine a true cost per window. I just kept hearing an approximate number that kept escalating! Not real sure either why the rep decided that there was ‘no sale’ because I said "...that would be my entire renovation budget to replace all 19 windows...." I did not even get the courtesy of an attempt at persuasion, or an offer of discounts (like an Angie’s list, or company, or senior citizen), or perhaps “do some now and some later.” He just got up, said he was leaving, and walked out the front door!!!

One quick phone call into Lanham Window Co. and I was provided an estimate and installation date. I was requested to confirm the details via email to ensure all everything was correct (it was). They sent someone to the house to measure the window and ensure what was built would fit (it did). Come installation day, the installer arrived right on time; he was efficient at his job and promptly took care of the only tiny imperfection that existed so that it was 100% perfect. He cleaned up everything before he left, even placing the furniture exactly where it was to start with. I am very impressed with the service and quality of work and would highly recommend them.

Lanham was prompt, friendly and professional. Completely happy with their great service. We had dealt with another window company and had paid them thousands of dollars in window replacement. I called them to have this one more window replaced and they said "sorry we don't do just ONE window replacement". I called Lanham and not only did he call me right back, he advised me I didn't need my whole window replaced, just the glass. Our windows are very tall and narrow, having the whole window replaced would have been very expensive. Lanham saved me a sizable amount, wish I would have done business with them sooner. They rock!

Just okay. The service person was polite and did call prior to showing up to do the work. I have used a number of "Angie's list" companies and have received good work performance from all of them. The work performed was acceptable but they could have been more conscientious when entering our home, as the service person tracked in debris/mud and "did not" use any booties when entering our home. All other companies I have used in the past have observed this practice.

Very well. Company (especially installer) very professional and neat. Vacuumed broken glass. Done in reasonable time.

They charged me about $6,000. I liked their sales approach. There was no pressure. I had another company over, who asked me to sign the contract the very same day for getting 30% discount. However, this company was very upfront and honest. I would use them again in the future if required.

They were prompt, did great work and I would easily recommend them and use them again.

Found this company on Angie's List and had a great experience from start to finish. Called in to inquire about receiving an estimate for replacing the top part of a double paned window and found out from Todd that he could provide a quote over the phone with me providing some basic measurements. I agreed to the price over the phone and scheduled a date for them to come replace the window. Todd promptly sent me an email documenting the quoted price and mentioning that they would send out a technician to obtain more accurate measurements prior to installing the window. I requested that they call prior to sending the tech our for measurements and they did call one day in advance. My appointment for the installation was for 10:00-11:00 today and the technician call me at 9:50 to let me know that he was running late. He arrived at 10:15 and was apologetic for being late. I was impressed with the respect that he showed for my time and keeping the appointment time. He installed the glass and it looks great.

Mr Lanham responded very quickly to my e-mail request for an estimate to replace 3 window screens/frames . He was very prompt and professional when he came out to give the estimate. He noticed that the weather stripping on the bottom of my screen door was torn and asked if I might want to replace it. I agreed that it needed to be replaced. The workman was likewise prompt, and courteous when he came to install the new screens and replace the weather stripping . He was quick and neat in his installation. Mr. Lanham followed up a few days later to see if I was completely satisfied with their work/service.

Found Lanham Window on Angie's list and contacted them to replace my windows and screens that were damaged by hail. The sales person came out and wrote up the order and took a sample of the glass...very professional. Then a second estimator came out to check the order a few days later. The installer arrived on August 4th to do the install and then noticed that a couple of the windows were not the right size and that the glass was not low-E. This was a suprise since the two people had looked at everything before the order had been placed. I will cut them some slack since this was a very busy time with all of the hail damage in the area. They reordered everything and then came out and did the installation on the 19th. Everything went well and the order was correct this time.

They did an excellent job. The windows look great. I would use them again.

The representative sent out to give the estimate and measure for the job was prompt and professional. I was not home for the repair and installation but the work was performed when it was scheduled, and was very high quality work. The prices were very reasonable. I am happy with the service provided and will use them again for any future window needs.

The time I was given was between 7am and 8am. He showed up at 7:05 ready to go. I showed him the window, he said no problem and he got straight to work. 35 minutes later he was finished. He worked quietly and never woke up the rest of the house. I would have them back in a heartbeat.

Don't know if the price was high or low as we only got one bid. Called for three bids but the other two never responded. That's a common problem here. Anyway, these guys were prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. They showed up when they said they would, and finished a complicated task in one day. Good job all around.

They are really easy to work with. All of their workers are very professional and friendly. They are always on time. The quality of the work and product were good. We were extremely pleased.

They came out when they said they would and gave me an estimate, and two days later they called me saying that I would be charged $800. The $800.00 that he wanted was for a scratch in his watch that he said my dog created. He told me he would take the cleaning fee away which would make it cost less. I did not have anything to do with this company after that.

Excellent job. Showed up when scheduled, performed the work, and cleaned up afterwards. Very professional and friendly workmen.

I found Mr. Lantham on Angie's List. He came over within 2 hours of the call. He examined it, called his office to verify the window was in stock, and a service person came out within another hour to replace the window. From start to finish it was about 3 hours.

I called Chuck at 8:30 Saturday morning and his repairman Ernie arrived at 11:15 that same morning and the job was complete by 12:15. Most window services on Angie's List do not offer emergency services. Not only did Chuck offer emergency services; they have Saturday hours. Chuck was very involved calling me when he found a repairman and again after the repaiman left the shop with my new window. Ernie the repaiman was very professional and used drop cloths to contain the glass as he removed the window and vacuumed the bathroom floor for broken glass after he was through. I highly recommend this provider.

Mr. Lanham did a great job and I would work with him again if I ever needed a window replaced. For that matter, would consider him for other services he provides. Prior to hiring him, I called a glass company that said they were coming and did not show or call twice! It was nice to get a call from Mr. Lanham before he got there and he was on time! Overall, he was prompt, polite and did a great job. He took particular care to make sure the work site was as clean as before he started the job. I paid him the price he quoted. As a small business owner and building owner, I have worked with contractors that have asked for more mooney after starting a job. Granted, my window replacement was a small job, but it was nice working with a professional who stands behind their quote, guarantees their work and provides a quality service.

We had a large window above our front door that had lost its seal, gone foggy, and needed to be replaced. Mr. Lanham personally came out to give us an estimate, which included an Angie's List discount and which we accepted. The window was installed in early August. I can't say enough about the professional and excellent service we received. The office staff worked with us on dates and even ways to sign the contract without another visit - my husband and I have very busy schedules and limited time for mutliple visits. The installers arrived on time, were extremely polite and professional, and took their time to ensure that the window was installed properly and was sparkling and spotless before they left. They cleaned up all the installation debris, and finished the job in a short period of time. Mr. Lanham contacted us a couple of weeks later to make sure that everything was acceptable, which I appreciated very much. I have very high standards in the area of customer service, and Lanham Windows met them all. We would definitely use this company again, and are glad to have found Lanham through Angie's List - it took a lot of the investigative legwork out of the job!

from salesman to technician very professional. they were very conscientious and carefull to secure their work and leave the property completely clean with no evidence of having been there, except for the wonderful new windows!
