Moises Pizana has been in the masonry trade since 2000 and would be happy to provide a free consultation. We specialize in retaining walls, patios, driveways, pergolas, pool decks, wood fences. When submitting info to Angi, be as specific about your project as possible: dimensions or SF needed, are you the homeowner? Is this for a repair or new project. Please be aware that we do not repair! What kind of retaining wall do you need: Concrete Blocks? Natural Stone? On walls over 4'ft a masonry wall is required by most cities, some cities it's 2'or 3' that need permitting. We provide the engineering and permitting services needed for the project. There was a little problem on the timing. Part of that was my schedule but part was on theirs and it took longer to get scheduled. But they did the work in a day instead of three like expected. The result was fantastic. Really excellent work. I would definitely use them again

Project: Remove and replace a retaining wall Mr. Pizana responded promptly for my request for an estimate and arrived on time when he came to review the project's scope and needs. He and his staff continued to respond quickly and professionally to my requests, including those for the names and contact information of references. He remained courteous and responsive throughout the duration of the work, which proceeded smoothly and quickly. Post project, cleanup was thorough.The finished retaining wall came in on budget and looks terrific.

They put up a retaining wall in my back yard. They came over on a late Thursday afternoon to dig the trench and we're at my house Friday morning before I left for work at 7am and we're finished by 11.30 am. It looks beautiful and surpassed my expectations. Definitely will use them again for my deck replacement. Also they were really reasonable. Would have provided pics but don't see a way to upload for this review.

I hired Moises Pizana Hardscapes to replace a rotting railroad tie retaining wall near my house. They responded very quickly to my inquiry, and the owner came out the next morning to look at the worksite and give me a bid. He clearly was experienced and knowledgeable, and even suggested a couple of ways that they could do a better job than I had envisioned. Knowing that there would be a few things that might slow the project up (tree roots, and because we live on a limestone cliff with very shallow soil in places, they might need to dig down into the limestone to create a stable base for the two retaining walls), he gave me a bid of 2½ to 3 days. The work crew began work at 7:30 the next morning. They were genial, efficient, and really knew what they were doing, both in removing the old railroad ties and hauling them away, and in setting the bases for the new stone walls and installing the blocks. And they were finished at 4:30 p.m.! I would happily recommend MPH to anyone, and will certainly call on them again myself the next time I need to replace a rotting retaining wall.

The tile replacement looks fine. However, the bottom of the pool was left with broken tile pieces and broken cement, which was not cleaned up. I have been dealing with my pool maintenance company to clean the pool bottom. Pool repair is not Moises forte.

Moises and his crew were amazing. He responded to my inquiriy immediately and was able to start the job within just a few days which I needed. His work was amazing! His guys knew what they were doing and finished in a timely manner. Once the project was finished Moises came over to make sure I was happy and everything was to my liking. I would HIGHLY reccomend him for any type job. As far as pricing he was very fair. Don't look any further is my suggestion.
