They have always been there when they said they will be. They have a schedule and they call us when it needs to be and schedule appointment and they show up. They charge me $150 to $200 depending on the work they have to do. Their quality of their product and they professionalism is outstanding. They are always here when they say they are going to be.

We got a call from this company after signing up for their mailing list at our local big box store. They were curteous on the phone and asked if we were interested in setting up an appointment to have our water analyzed. We agreed and someone called us the day before to verify the appointment. Their punctuality was the only area I commend them on. When the guy came in to do his demonstratation I was not impressed by the results of the difference between the rain soft water system and our regular tap water. Of course he tried to scare us into thinking that our water was and quot;way off the chartsand quot; in terms of chlorination and he talked often about the five years worth of products that we would get for free if we were to purchase the system that day, as a and quot;rewardand quot; for saving him from making another trip back. As soon as I heard that phrase, I recalled the same tactics used by another remodeling company I had used in the past and the nightmarish experience I had with them. I surreptitiously went on the computer and looked them up on Angie's list and asked him why his company had no possitive reviews, ony an F and several C's at which point he became quite rude and said Angie's list was only for disgruntled people. Needless to say we got away with only 90 minutes worth of wasted time as opposed to a $7,000 bill for something we could probably have purchase much cheaper by buying a similar system and having it installed by our plummer, Thank you Angie's list!

This company installed a whole house water treatment system and water purifier roughly 10 years ago. I have been completley satisfied with the product. The company has been very prompt and attentive in all of my servicing needs throughout the years. Recently, we had a small salt water leak in which we had to call customer service to get someone out to take a look. They were apologetic and very quick to respond. Will, the service guy, came out the same day and was able to fix the leak in an effecient and effective manner. They even called a few days later to make sure everything had been taken care of and Will swung by the house again to make sure that the leak was completley fixed. If I had to buy the system all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat.

My experience with the pre-sale and install was not positive. I purchased the system on Saturday without proper knowledge to make an educated decision as to what it would take to install a system. The sales person was pleasant but left out very important information. The sales person, Scott Morgan, failed to give me information as to the scope of the project. First of all he told me that the company had a city inspector phone number on speed dial and the inspection would occur on Monday or Tuesday. He did not provide any information regarding the extent of the work and how I could possible lose 50% or more of my landscape depending how where they had to dig. He wanted 100% payment ASAP before the system was installed. I refuse to give him a $7,645 check until I received the system. He did not tell me the project would take 7 hours to install. The sales person ask me to to pull a city permit. The install occurred the next day on Sunday and the plumber (Sean) ask me not to pull a permit. The plumber attempted to preserve my landscape as much as possible but I lost 100% of flowers (50 annuals), 1 bush, and the project disturbed the overall integrity of my yard (considering I spent an enormous amount of time in the yard in the spring to make sure the soil was right , and adjusting soak hoses). By the middle of the week after initial install the plumber returned to my home to remove and replace an pipe (based on city regulations). After the second install the bathroom toilet and sink stopped working. I assumed the water to the house was still off and I called the company. The company dispatched another plumber to come to my home to address the issue. The 2nd plumber was so upset (I have never seen anyone this angry). I felt extremely uncomfortable having someone in my house that was angry. The plumber was wasting water on my clean towels (inspite of having a bucket right beside him) and started cleaning up the water with my clean face towels and had no regard for my home. I left him inside my home and called the office manager ASAP. Laura addressed the issue and the plumber left my home immediately. When it was time for inspections the company did not coordinate with me. Every step of the way Susan blamed me for every little thing and refused to communicate the right information for the job to inspected. Eventually, I ended up doing my own research, calling the inspector, and scheduling my home inspections. After we finally passed the inspections they came over and put my yard back together. They threw my yard together so fast I ended up spending 2 hours the next days adjusting soak hoses and re-mulching the yard. The company severed a soak hose but came over right way to repair. Laura is really good at responding to mis-haps but her employees I dealt with are real shady. I would not recommend RainSoft to a family or friend unless they deal with Laura directly every step of the way and get a good plumber (that knows what he is doing and can follow city codes). The system is great, but the company does not operate with sound business practices and some of the employees can be outright rude and lack integrity. The company is good at responding to request and I do appreciate this aspect of the company.

They came out at the scheduled time for the consulation. They tested the water and verified that it tested 13. Verifying the residue left on the sink, shower and on dishes. The salesperson was nice and pleasant but really focused on the 5 years of free Pure and Gentle products (the first year of products for household of 4 was used up in three months for 1 person). The discounted groceries are products that I don't use (processed food and snacks mostly). The reduced priced travel is also something that I don't use (mostly for family get-a-ways to places I would not go). I also was given a Air Cleaning system (not sure if it makes a difference). They installed the reverse osmosis system under the kitchen sink and the whole house softner/filtration system. The installation was professional.I way overpaid for the system and opened an Home Depot card to pay for it. At least the system is installed and works well (the water softening and filtration system), the rest of the gimmick was worthless. I suggest to do research and buy the products from Home Depot and have a local plumber install it for you (probably would have been under $1000). This was an expensive lesson to learn.

I SET UP THE APPOINTMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND THE TECHNICIAN WAS ON TIME. HE WORKED QUICKLY AND KEPT THE AREA CLEAN. I WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT THE FINANCING PROGRAM. THE INTEREST IS VERY HIGH.

RAINSOFT INSTALLED A SYSTEM FOR THE WHOLE HOUSE IN FEBRUARY 1998. WE ALSO HAVE AN REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM IN THE KITCHEN. THE FILTERS ARE REPLACED SEMI-ANNUALLY, ANNUALLY, AND THE MAJOR ONES EVERY THREE YEARS.
