It's terrible.

It was great. I cannot think of anything they did wrong. The sales lady answered an awful lot of questions. She showed us all different kinds of cars and was very patient when we made up our minds. She introduced us to her boss and the people in the business office, and the maintenance people.

The maintenance person explained everything that goes on back there.

We also get free carwashes forever.

We are still in touch. I plan to go up there in the next few days and say hello. The car is everything we expected and more.

Amazing! They provided me with a loaner car for a week while the parts were ordered. Car was ready for pick up late on Friday and I was not able to get over to the dealership to pick my car up until Saturday. NO PROBLEM! This is a great service department as I have purchased several cars through another Austin dealership and never got this kind of service!!

Upon arrival I spoke with the my service advisor who went over the details of the service and discussed the cost.



I was then given a Mercedes Benz loaner vehicle and traveled to Austin while my vehicle was being serviced.



A few hours later I received a call stating that my vehicle was done, however take my time. My perception was that I did not have to rush back.



When I returned my service was complete, car was washed and I was very pleased with the service.



If you own one of these cars, then you know that you are treated very good when you visit a Mercedes dealership.

Had prepaid service at time of contract so no charge on date service was performed. Personnel were very professional and courteous. Contacted us to inform of maintenance replacement items and not pushy in trying to get us to have the work completed that day. Provided a replacement vehicle while service performed and thoroughly washed car before we picked up.

I took my 2007 Mercedes Benz SLK55 (52k miles) in for a state inspection and Service A maint. on a Saturday. The car was running beautifully, I simply needed a state inspection and thought while it was in there to get it looked at. I was told it should not take the entire day and I was glad to hear that. At the end of that Saturday I get a call, right before they close, that they were not finished and would need to keep the car. Alright, that happens. No problem. I call back on Sunday and my service rep was not there so they told me to call back on Monday. I call back on Monday and my service rep was not there. I call back on Tuesday and my service rep was still not there....... What is going on? I call back on Wednesday, and thankfully he was there. My service rep straight asks me on the phone and quot;Are you sitting down for thisand quot;. This is where it gets insane...

He tells me the following and quot;need to be repaired on the vehicleand quot;:
- New brakes and rotors for the FRONT ONLY. $2,500 yes... TWENTY FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
- Engine mount and Transmission mount's have and quot;collapsedand quot;. $775
- Dust filter is dirty. $85
- Battery failed the midtronics test $300
- coolant flush $150
- two rear tires $700
- right side window trim $425
TOTAL: $4,935

.... Are you kidding me? It gets better.

- Not only did the rotors NOT need to be worked on, but they are perfectly fine. Instead of offering to machine them for me, they wanted to charge me TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED dollars. I had multiple mechanics look at the rotors only to find the mercedes dealership was totally lying to me. The brakes have about 25% life left, so that part is and quot;fairand quot;. Keep in mind, this car has 50k miles on it...
and quot;Engine mount and Transmission mount's have and quot;collapsedand quot;.and quot;
- Okay. This is what totally blew me away. Not only are the engine and transmission mounts fine, the dealership straight up fabricates this and tells me I and quot;need to do thisand quot;. mechanics that looked at my vehicles said there was absolutely no way the mounts were collapsed because the entire engine was extremely snug and not moving at all.

- Okay. I expect to be charged 85 dollars for them to use an air compressor, because its probably some special mercedes air compressor. I paid this.

- Fair enough. I paid this.
and quot;two rear tiresand quot;
- Another one... My rear tires on this thing have EASILY 15k more miles on them. They are in no way shape or form needing to be replaced. Another one their service department tried to take from me.
and quot;right side window trimand quot;
- I'm not sure what kind of window trim you are using, but I have never seen window trim go for anywhere near that... I did not pay this as it was absolutely too high.

Oh.... What about the reason I brought it in there? You know... The state inspection... So after they give my wife back the car they make no mention of this, but they FAILED the state inspection because of the and quot;midtronics test were offand quot; which the batter was supposed to fix. So my wife reads on the paperwork it did not pass and was not told this, I called the dealership and my rep was not there AGAIN! WHAAAAAA? I demand to talk to someone who can help me and ask why it failed the state inspection if I paid for a new battery. Finally I get a hold of someone who can answer some questions and he says to me and quot;Oh... After you put a new battery in you must drive the car 150 miles before the midtronics tests will passand quot;... All I am thinking at this point is and quot;Am I being punked?and quot;. My wife doesnt drive this car very much so this is doing to take WEEKS (still driving it illegally btw) to get 150 miles on, so I ask them what I am to do if I get pulled over for state inspection being out. They put me on hold and ask someone. She comes back on the phone and says and quot;Uhh.. Yeah, if you just show the officer the receipt and stuff that should be goodand quot;. LoL.

So lets recap, in case the above was not dramatic enough:
* I bring it in for a state inspection
* They have my car for 4 days because my rep was and quot;goneand quot;
* They come back and want to charge me FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS. Most of which is absolutely wrong.
* They send my wife on her way without telling her that the REASON I brought this car in was not completed...
* They tell me that I cannot get a state inspection until she drives it 150 miles. So they tell me I have to illegally drive my car for 2-4 weeks until the miles are put on that car.

This car is absolutely awesome. No bad things to say about this car whatsoever. People who want to steal money from you because you drive it on the other hand... A different story.
