First, they had what I wanted when many others did not. The price was not where I wanted it to be but was the best I found. They made recommendations regarding the available tubing sizes and the cuts I wanted that made things easier and saved money in the end. Everything was ready for pick-up the next day and I couldn't be happier with the results.

Our insurance covered it. We had this company install a new fence. The salesman told us it would take 3 days, and that they only hired the utmost professionals. Work started on the 5th of November, ended some time in January. They constantly did stuff wrong, half way, and it seemed as though there was no continuity. Parts were done in different fashions. My neighbors described the fence as looking like a ride from fun land from there house. The first two attempts they took part of our wire (they ran out of their wire). They cut two chunks out. This was not the right type of wire, stuck out like a sore thumb. They didn't even tell me they used it. They sent another crew out to "fix" what they had done. We stopped them 3/4 way through because we saw the style of workmanship. I told them a few things that bothered me like fishing the wire tighter. The project manager told us that that type of wire could not be stretched any tighter than it was, but wouldn't walk around and see what I was referring to. The wire was bowed out 5 to 8 inches in different parts of the fence. Our fence is a no-climb horse quality wire. He installed things that are essentially used for poultry, a low grade wire. All of the wiring is uniform other than an area that goes up hill. Instead of cutting the bottom of it they ran it sideways up the hill so that everything around the house is vertical except this spot. They took part of our barn materials (had been blown down, had someone building another). I pointed this out specifically to not be touched, but that didn't stop them. They had opened boxes of nails. They didn't tell me, I only found this from walking around it. They told us they would work and complete one side before the other so we could keep our pets outside. They ripped all of it out and put a temporary fence in by our pool without room for our pets. They didn't follow instructions and didn't listen. Their workers broke part of a concrete slab and didn't report it to us. They covered it with dirt. We sent numerous emails and made many calls that they did not address. They finally did when I told them I would pay for the work until they completed it. When they did acknowledge it they told us that they were not responsible for damage to our property from their workers. Eventually they resolved all of our concerns except for a few small things, and he offered a few hundred off. We recently got a past due notice for the amount that was supposed to be discounted. Rather than dealing with them I contacted the BBB. The office manager agreed that we had been discounted that amount, but ignored the fact that we had a past due notice. I got back with them to let them know he was ignoring me again. The owner eventually sent me an email stating there was a mixup in their accounting and that we were not liable for that amount. In my mind that is just another thing showing incompetencel.

I am extremely pleased with the quality of service and materials. The project manager, Keith Hair, was very professional to deal with from the very start till the very end of the project. Workers who installed the fence did a great job. I would definitely refer Viking Fence to my family and friends.
