Description of Work: Need a water pump replaced on a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. Took it to Firestone first, and was told I need to replace the radiator, water pump, and potentially the timing belt. Drove it down the road to Triple A for a quote, and turns out all I need was the water pump - plus they did it for a little over half what Firestone was going to charge.

 + -1 moreThey've been doing majority of my work over the last three or four years now. It's a good garage, they rate real good because they get a lot of customers. The owner, I got to know him, he is real good too. His name is Bobby. They've been there since 1969. When they first did it, it was a small leak. It was still coming and I took it back to them on a Thursday or a Wednesday before Halloween and they got right on it. They open up at 7:30, it's first come first serve. Occasionally I do set up appointments. I use them all the time.
Description of Work: They did an axle job for me on my Honda Prelude that was leaking fluid.

 + -1 moreI took it to him and he said they couldn't do it because Honda had to do it. I had to go through the dealership. Other service that he did for me that day, they had it done within two hours. I took it to the dealership after that and got the rest of it fixed through the dealer. He did a great job. It was five years ago and then, after that, they've been doing my oil change or any other work that needs done. The car I have, I've been having it since 1999. I bought it in 1999. Everything on the car is still original and the car still is, as a matter of fact, in great shape because he asked me did I want to sell it. They love when I bring the car in. They say, "Are you ready to sell it now?" Bobby is a great guy, his staff is too. He told me, "Tell your friends about me." I had a couple of friends in my unit and I told them about him. I said, "Go, talk to Bobby. Tell him Rene sent you. I looked them up and I did research and I said, "Oh wow, no negative complaints against him." He will work with you, all you've got to do is talk to him. He gave me a military discount.

Description of Work: A/C blew on a 2009 Mercury Mariner a family member was driving on a trip. Triple A Muffler did a great job, assessed the damage, replaced the condenser and repaired the damage from some stray road debris.

 + 0 moreI've taken my 2012 AWD Charger SXT Plus here many times for all kinds of work including at least: new suspension components, changes in stance, new brakes, and multiple exhaust configurations. Why do I keep bringing it back to them and them only? Well, I can count on the job being done right. I can absolutely count on them to treat my car with the utmost respect and care. And, there are not many AWD Chargers in Texas - maybe just a handful, so not everyone knows how to care for them, but they're very careful explaining everything along the way so everyone's on the same page and the job gets done right. Trust is a precious thing with me and it is extremely hard to earn mine, but they have earned it. FYI, they also just bought a super high end 4 wheel alignment system and it does a great job! It's the best alignment machine I've ever seen.
Description of Work: On my previous trip to Triple A Muffler, to resolve some undercarriage issues where I bottomed out the car in a construction zone, we found out that a previous repair at another facility had replaced my K Member with all OEM parts, which meant my custom performance suspesion that had been 2.5" lower than stock, now raised up to 1.5" lower than stock, still couldn't adjust front camber angles to in tolerance range. Nobody carries these kinds of parts in stock locally, so we had to express order the parts and I brought the car back 6/3/16 to finish the job. They installed all the moog camber adjustment bolts, and got the alignment pretty much close to perfect. It took some ingenuity on modifying the K member a tad in order to allow the bolts enough travel to do the job, but it was all quality work that should remain durable. They showed my all the work they did up close and made sure I understood why they were doing this, rather than just making sweeping changes to the car's subframe without telling me. I'm totally happy with the quality of the work, and my AWD Charger drives better now than it ever has.

 + 0 moreFabulous, incredible experience from the moment we first talked by phone. Polite, gracious, reassuring. Our SUV failed inspection, took vehicle to our mechanic. He identified the issue to be two bad resonators. Our mechanic referred us to a muffler shop. My wife took the car to the shop and they quoted $1,300 to replace the two resonators and the catalytic converter. I looked to Angie's List for a second opinion, and found and read sterling reviews about Triple A Muffler - - impressive. Honest? Beyond a shadow of a doubt! Two hours later on a Saturday afternoon the exhaust system was repaired, and State inspection passed. All I can say is: Wow!

 + -1 moreCheck engine light came on in son's car. After reading all the positive reviews of AAA Muffler, my son took the car there to get checked out. They read the code and told him that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. My son sat for about 45 minutes while they checked the car over. One of the employees told him that it would take about 2 or so hours before it would be ready. The employee asked if my son had a ride and when my son told him no, the employee offered to drive him home. As he dropped off my son, the employee told him that he could come back and get him when the car was ready - an unbelievable offer in this day and age! They called when the car was ready and my son and husband went to pick it up. The check engine light was off, the car runs great, and we are all impressed with the service and kindness shown by the people at AAA Muffler. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.

We live in Fort Worth and found it worth our while to go all the way to Garland to have our vehicles fixed...we even towed one all the way there. Bobby is a consummate professional, yet he makes his customers feel as if they are family members. I know very little about car maintenance and repair, and I can rely on Triple A to make appropriate recommendations and take good care of my car. It's 14 years old now, and still running great. The most important compliments I can give them are that they operate with integrity, honesty, and kindness. I wouldn't go anywhere else for service, and I have recommended many friends and neighbors to them. Keep up the great work!
Description of Work: Took my car in for a new battery, cabin air filter, oil change, and alignment. I always ask them to let me know if they see anything else that needs maintenance or repair, and they found that I needed a new radiator and the valve cover gasket was leaking.

They installed a resonator, cleaned up my hack job and spot welded it as needed. They are fair and honest and I'd go back again in a minute. Great work!
