They do a pretty good job. It is usally clean, but the machines are not always maintained like they should be. Missing pins ect. They offer a lot, but the price seems a little high. I do like the classes they offer especially yoga.

Overall, we had a great time. we went (surprisingly) for a birthday party, not knowing what to expect. Holy cow, what a nice place! It was like a little pool club in the middle of Garland!
We walked through the busy family changing area, and headed out to the pools. On our way outside, we passed a massive indoor pool, two huge hot tubs, saunas, and a zero depth walk in pool for older kids.
Once outside, it was a like a little pool club! Tons of people enjoying the sun, the pools, etc. Our party was near the sand volleyball courts. There was also a snack stand to purchase food/beverages. Our host was very nice and helpful and it was good that the facility did swim tests in the beginning as well to assess the kids.
For those not able to swim the whole lap, the parents were told to be by their kids at all times. Though we did also find several free life vests that we could give them as well so they could be in any section. Once the slides opened, the staff was great in ensuring that the kids were well watched to be sure everyone was making it out of the pool safely.

I have an 15 month baby. He didn't like the child center. They told me he will get use to it in a week. But they didnt want to deal with him crying I guess?? So after 5 to 7 min they were calling me all the time that he was crying. NO way I can do my work out like this!

I like that this membership allows me to go to different gyms in town. I work all over town and I can go to the Lifetime Fitness in whatever town I happen to be in. Of the gyms I have belonged to, this is the best so far.

It's a huge place and a good facility. They offer family plans. They have all the best and latest equipment. They help us with using them. The only complaint I have is that they had been having some trouble because of heat in their pools. The water quality in their outside pools had really deteriorated. They checked it out, and now it's fixed.

This facility is in business for one reason - to sign up new customers. Once signed, members are on their own for everything. When I asked for and received the free physical evaluation offered to new members, I broke a rib trying to perform one of the lifts required. Then the trainer asked me to do it again! I am handicapped and have asked for and received permission to use a changing room in the family changing area. The reason I was granted permission is because the shower stalls in the men's locker room are too small for me, given my physical limitations. For years, a room in the family changing area was left unlocked for me, as I couldn never depend on the handicapped room being unlocked. This arrangement changed abruptly, and I was told I could no longer use the changing room in the family changing area, "because people were having s** in the rooms." I was told that one of those people who were caught having s** in the changing rooms was/is a Lifetime Fitness employee. I'm also told that this is not an isolated event. So the martinet of a manager at Lifetime Fitness no longer allows me to use the rooms. I understand the reasons for his concern. I have suggested solutions like installing credit card type locks on the doors, and programming membership cards to allow them to open the doors. I have alternatively suggested that keys to the individual changing rooms be kept at the main desk, and that members wishing to use the rooms check out a key, even maybe pay a deposit to ensure its return. My solutions were meant to solve the manager's problem of leaving changing rooms unlocked and available to anyone. I emailed the Lifetime Fitness center in Garland, Texas one week ago on Jan. 6. Today, after hearing nothing from them, I emailed them again and finally received a reply from the manager. His response? Nothing doing. Tough. Those are the rules. Tomorrow, my wife and I will visit the facility to cancel our memberships.

Overall a very nice facility. Machines are newer models and good quality. Staff walk around all 'roided out and full of themselves. Rude to people who are just there for a workout. Was told off because I had taken my shoes off to stretch on a mat after a workout. Not "Sorry, but you have to keep your shoes on", but "Put your shoes on". Just like that. I went downstairs to customer service and told them that I was canceling my membership immediately. They had to get a manager to approve it. Know what they thought of the trainer who said that to me? NOTHING. They didn't offer to make it up to me, offer to speak to the trainer, offer any sort of an apology, NOTHING. They take your money and hope you don't come in. Typical. Go to another fitness center now. Less pretentious prigs employed there.

He is great! I have gone down two jean sizes. He is very unique--everything is always different, and he is always finding new and creative ways to use the equipment, which keeps you more involved and interested. He really gets results.

This is an excellent facility with great equipment and pools. Great group instructors. The major problem here is the personal trainers. They must work on commission. They are busy and distracted, and have no time for anyone who is not paying them for individual training. First, I had to have one of them give my my free health assessment. In the process of doing so, after I warned him that I thought he was asking me to perform a static lift incorrectly, I either broke a rib or tore cartilage in the process. Then the man proceeded to sell me vitamins. Even though members pay monthly dues, they cannot get individual help from anyone to learn how to use the strength or cardio equipment, unless they are willing to hire a personal trainer at the rate of between $70 and $100 per hour. The club is a wonderful facility, but you're on you're own when you are there.
