Legacy Plumbing

Just to have a technician come out to my home is $50.00 (Pretty standard), but to look and diagnose the first 30 minutes are 130.00 and each additional quarter hour is 25.00. None of which applies to the repair. Seems pretty steep just for an estimate. I went elsewhere.

Canon was our plumber for this repair project. He rerouted the hot water pipe through the attic and answered all of my questions. The final bill was below the estimated price given before the project. I will hire them for future work. Thank you.

Staining on ceiling drywall was from a leak and needed to determine if it was the upstairs bathroom. There was no leak but also had the plumber replace the drain on the bathtub upstairs since it needed replacement. Quick and thorough inspection and service.

Mike Collard did an excellent job and was very professional. Determined when roof was replaced they did not hook up vent pipe from roof to water heater causing carbon monoxide to be n the attic. How lucky found the problem.

Excellent experience! Fast scheduling and dependable. As promised, we received a phone call prior to their arrival within the correct time frame, and they were on time. These three occurrences alone put Legacy above our past experiences. Then, Schuyler continued to impress. He is courtesy and knowledgeable. Not only did he make the scheduled repairs, but he believes in educating the customer while he is there. He explained each step of what he was doing and was sure to point out items that I could easily take care of myself. Additionally, he went above and beyond when he turned back on the water to my house and noticed the meter running even though no water was on in my house; he took the time checking every faucet/water access point and discovered a leaking toilet in our home. My husband had recently fixed another running toilet in the home, but this one was in a rarely used guest bathroom, and we would have spent a lot of money until we finally realized this problem. As if that wasn't enough, while checking the house for a leak, he noticed the handle to my cold water in my master bath sink was missing. It simply came off in my hands one day when I went to turn it on. I knew I had not seen or heard any screw or other missing part fall, yet the handle was unattached. My husband and I were in the process of finding replacement parts when Schuyler came, noticed the faucet, and said, "You don't need any parts." He quickly looked under the sink, found the faucet was incorrectly installed (12 years ago), that the C-ring was installed under the counter instead of above and had finally given way, allowing the handle to come off when the base fell through the counter hole. Within 5 minutes, Schuyler repaired this for me. There is no telling how much time/money we would have spent chasing down the wrong problem. Schuyler's eye for detail, knowledge, and commitment to sharing that knowledge sets him apart from any service provider we've ever worked with!

The service Mike Collard provided was excellent and professional. Before Mike started he gave me a quote for the job and it helped that I had a coupon from Angie's List for 10% off the job. He also cleaned up after his work. I contacted them on the evening of 1/17/2018 and they were able to get me scheduled on 1/18/2018. This was a great experience top to bottom. I called on a Monday, and was able to get an appointment on Wednesday. Our time window was 3-5, and Taylor was here by 3:30. Anytime I get at the top of my window, I'm happy. He gave me several options with clear pricing so that I could choose the best option. All of the work was great, he let me know what he was installing and how long it would take so there weren't any surprises.

I called Legacy at around 1 PM on Tuesday. Amber was very friendly and upfront on the potential pricing. Because of the holiday and cold weather they couldn't get me in until Thursday afternoon but volunteered to call me if something opened up. They called me an hour later and asked if Sam could come over since he was in my area. Sam was here within a few minutes and knew exactly what needed to be done. We had a nice conversation and he was extremely professional. They had given me a range from $186 to just less than $400 if bricks needed to be removed. Sam was able to replace the entire assembly by simply chipping out some of the mortar. The bill was only $212 and it was money well spent considering the previous company charged $200 to come out and replace the washer which was not even the problem.

1 out of 2 water heaters was not working. While a lot of plumbing companies will push for 2 water heaters to be replaced, the plumber was honest with his opinion on replacing both heaters at the same time or replacing just the defective one. He understood the issue and solved the issue much to our satisfaction. We liked the package that was quoted to us and felt that it was fair compared to the other companies that bid for the job.

Sam arrived on time. He provided thorough answers to all of my questions. The cost was exactly as quoted on the phone. The drain works perfectly now :) I've used Legacy Plumbing in the past (for other unrelated issues) and I continue to be very happy with their service.

Sean Reecer from Legacy Plumbing came to help. He did a good job to get the leak fixed and whole repair work was performed very professionally. Very impressive!

Called Legacy on Tuesday. They arrived Wednesday. Kris (lady who took my call), was wonderful over the phone. She did not mind I was grilling her about estimated costs. They provided a ballpark figure which was good enough for me to book an appointment. Sean and Gabriel were consummate professionals. Sean gave me a preliminary quote before he looked at the hose bib, which matched what Kris told me. He explained the low end cost if it was an easy fix; and high end cost if our builder made it difficult to replace, which would require getting through the brick. The end result was a new assembly and MUCH BETTER INSTALL THAN MY BUILDER and on a rainy day. My house is only 4-years old. Sean and Gabriel were kind enough to listen to my story about why I recently stopped using my previous plumber. I appreciate Legacy Plumbing's customer service which is lacking in all industries now-a-days; appreciate that they focus on hiring military veterans; and are up front about cost. They also support the community by accepting donated canned food for Thanksgiving.

Legacy Plumbing is the only plumbing company I have used for the last three years. Knowledgeable individuals from first contact to the technicians. My water heater was in attic above 2nd floor and even though there was not an issue with old one, I did not want to push my luck with an unexpected disaster. All new fittings were installed and new gas and water lines installed. Work was professional. Work included removing old water heater; installing new water heater (in 2nd story attic); arranging for city inspection; and new lines and fittings.

Ease of appointment, arrived on time, work done and priced very well. Best plumbers we have ever used. I can't recommend them high enough! A++++
