Nobody likes an unexpected repair on their house. But Matt from Legacy Plumbing made it as quick and painless as possible. He explained the price over the phone, came out the next day, and fixed the problem. He had to dig out next to the sidewalk to get to the pipe that was leaking. He very carefully dug around my sprinkler pipe to get down to the problem area. He also was very careful to leave the grass in the same condition after he left. One day later, you couldn't even tell he dug up a 3 foot section of grass. He explained what he had to do and did it promptly. No unexpected cost. Gave a first time discount. Make sure you ask him about coupons and a service plan. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Great job Matt!

Sam De Angelis arrived promptly as scheduled, was very neatly dressed and respected our property by covering his shoes before entering our house. He clearly explained all that he was planning to do and performed his duties flawlessly. Following his work he again explained his findings and made several suggestions for us going forward as to the maintenance of our drains and what we might do to minimize future problems. We recently moved from the Houston area to Plano and relied on Angie's list for the referral...we are not disappointed and would most definitely recommend OUR new plumber to friends, neighbors and relatives!

We loved working with Legacy Plumbing and Wayne. Of all the bids we received, they were both the most affordable and thorough. Plus their suggestions made the most sense for solving our issue. They were prompt, did what they said they were going to do on or before when they said they'd do it, and completed the job a day early. Their estimate was incredibly thorough, far and away the most thorough estimate we received, and the final cost was exactly the same as the initial estimate. Highly recommended.

Lee arrived right on time. Funny thing is I had used Lee with a former plumbing company and when calling that company in past found that Lee was no longer there and they were not able to give me his new employer. I called Legacy plumbing as they came highly recommended by Angie's List. When Lee arrived I recognized him from before, it was good to have someone back that I trusted to do a good job. Lee went straight to work in resetting the toliet. He did a great job as usual, he also replaced a flapper that was going bad for free as part of their water conservation initiative. I have found my new plumbing company for future needs.

The valve gate to my house is stuck halfway open. I called to get a ballpark estimate of repair. The customer service rep was friendly and went out of her way to get my questions answered. I was extra impressed the master plumber, Mr. Theron, even took time to personally address my questions. Thanks a ton for your expert consultation!

The whole process went very well. I was contacted 10 minutes before they arrived. They were actually 10 minutes earlier than their scheduled time. Problems that I thought were very serious and would require replacement (garbage disposal) or complicated (the bathroom sink is hooked into my air conditioner overflow) were treated quickly and very efficiently. They provided advice so I would not have trouble with the disposal in the future and checked the settings on my hot water heaters (which they had installed in 2011). They provided a fix for the problems I was having with the outside spigot. In addition, they fixed the problem I was having with the powder bath toilet. Not only that but everything was as clean when they left as it was when they arrived! I really like doing business with this company. Wayne is the plumber that has done work for me in the past and I would recommend that you ask for him any time you needed plumbing work done. I actually waited a couple of extra days so that I could have my appointment with him.

I used them two or three times, I've always been pleased. Everything about them is good. They are prompt, the office handles things well. They are always on time and polite. He even wears shoe covers when he comes in my home.

One of the garden nozzels was not getting any water when you turned it on. Thinking the worst i immediately called a plumber to make sure it was not an interior problem that would cost me more money. Lee came out, accessed the problem and replaced the nozzel, he had to take out bricks to cut the pipe (older installation) then put on a new nozzel, replaced the bricks (yes he is a plumber and a mason all in one) and make it look like new. Water works fine, unit didnt have all the problems we thought it would have and all is fine. I did have another plumber come out at one time to access it, wanted to charge double what Lee charged me due to the fact he wanted to take out multiple bricks, rearrange the down spot, and more. He didnt impress me like Lee so it never happened. Lee did a great job.

Wayne and his associate arrived mid afternoon and immediately identified the problem. They immediately did what was necessary to unstop the drain line and then used their camera to see if there were any other problems. Wayne then drew a diagram of our plumbing layout and showed exactly where the areas that required further attention...there were two non-critical areas that might benefit from an alternate cleaning approach using hydro pressure cleaning. This we will consider. Wayne did an excellent job of explaining all that we wanted to know about the problems we were experiencing and have experienced in the past and how to help avoid them in the future.

The initial call was handled professionally and when I explained that I had a leak in the front yard, the receptionist asked if I was certain that it wasn't a sprinkler system leak. The reason for the question is that sprinkler repair done by a sprinkler specialist is usually less expensive than a professional plumber. After ascertaining that the leak was not part of the sprinkler she then gave me an estimate based on how long it would take to dig down to the leak and fix it. The plumber, Lee, was on time and went over the estimate again to make sure I understood what he would be doing then he went straight to work. He found the leak and it was more extensive than a single leak and several cut offs and joints were going to have to be replaced with updated valves and materials. After completion and testing, he determined there was another leak farther down the pipe (water was still pooling at the outermost point of the hole). He told me the extra cost and started digging again. Luckily, the leak was at a joint only about 2 feet away from where he had been digging. He replaced the pipe to the joint and all the leaks were fixed. He cleaned up the area as best he could before leaving. The entire experience was better than I have had with a plumbing company in many, many years.

Doug showed up on time. He investigated the problem and explained the process as he was going along. He identified the problem, discussed the various options and suggested what would be best under the circumstances. We discussed the various costs, and he again guided without appearing to goad me into any price point. He then gave an estimate of the effort, and was almost spot on. He and his assistant then went to work. At the end of the fixing the leak, while testing the water flow and ensuring there are no more leaks not previously identified, he noticed the water pressure was higher than expected (this being an older problem), he suggested adjusting the pressure to normal level. So he was being proactive in addressing a future possible issue. We then set an appointment for another day to address this issue, and he worked a price that would treat this new fix as an extension of current work. I have been extremely happy with professional work done by Doug on behalf of Legacy. Thank you very much.

They’re very good. They didn’t try to sell us. The pricing was good. We had a coupons from them. The work was very professional. It was done. Nothing really stood out. They’re punctual. They honored the price we got on the phone. It was harder for them to clean the drain than they thought because of the location of the clog but they worked at it until they got it.

Fantastic service. Scheduling was easy and the front-office staff are super friendly and helpful. They even applied a coupon I didn't know I was eligible for. The service was performed professionally by Sam and again, super friendly service willing to go the extra mile. Even gave me some tips about my older dishwasher and what to do when it comes time to replace it. I will definitely use Legacy for all of my plumbing needs.

They only did an inspection in lieu of actual work so I can't grade the quality. However, the plumber was on time and professional, and the scheduling was easy.

The toilet in the master bath was leaking water all over the floor. I called Legacy late in the day on Sept. 11, and they had someone here at 8:00 the next morning. The receptionist that I spoke with was friendly and was able to give me an approximate cost which be finalized by the technican once the problem was evaluated. Sam called first thing to let me know he would arrive within the next 20 minutes. He arrived by 8:00 as promised wearing protective shoe covering to keep the floors clean. The quote, paperwork for the charge card, picture of the problem were all done on an ipad and the receipt and recommendations were emailed to me. Sam quickly evaluated the problem and showed me what needed to be done to get the toilet back up and running properly. The replaced the fill valve and flapper and tightened the tank. He finished the work promptly and cleaned up within about 30 minutes. He provided me with information and pricing about a flood stop valve that I had asked about. This was the first time that I had ever used Legacy Plumbing, and I was very impressed with Sam and the great customer service provided by the company. I will not hesitate to call them again for any other plumbing needs that arise.

I have used Legacy Plumbing at least 4 times now in the last 6 or 7 years and they have never disappointed me. They are always very professional and extremely clean, both in personal appearance and work habits. This time, as a preventive measure, I had them install a Floodstop (brand name) automatic water shutoff on my water heater. If you don't know what a Floodstop is then Google it and You Tube it because everyone with a water heater should have one. We all know someone who has had a horrible experience with water damage from a leaking water heater. This device is designed to prevent that by shutting off the water supply to your water heater in case of a leak. I had purchased the Floodstop device myself prior to the installation simply because I wanted look it over and understand how it works but Legacy Plumbing will sell it and install it for you for around $350.00 total so it works out to about the same money. Wayne and an assistant arrived right on time and, as agreed, they called when they were on the way. He removed and replaced the existing feed pipe and ball type shutoff with new parts because they were 10 years old and starting to corrode. After he had soldered the new pieces in place he installed my provided Floodstop. The job was checked for proper operation and leaks. Everything checked out perfectly and they cleaned up the area. Another perfect experience.

The company is very tech forward, which I appreciate. Initial contact may be made through Angie's List via message. I typed out a description of the problem, added contact information and chose three dates/times when I could be home. The next day, a representative from the company called to schedule an appointment. Lee called when 15-20 minutes out and arrived within 30 minutes of the specified time range (2-4 pm). He is efficient, professional and kind. The issue was cleared fairly quickly and the price of the work was more than fair. Before Lee left, I described other plumbing issues I was having and received quotes for those. A nice part of the service is that there's no paper. The invoice is created on a tablet, payment information is typed in with the ability to 'sign' where designated and the receipt is emailed. I really dislike paper receipts, so it's an added plus.

Wayne Pierce made a quick and accurate appraisal of my problem and "listened" to what I wanted. He then proceeded to correct my problem. There is a direct correlation to the person I spoke to on the phone, who gave me an accurate estimate of cost and when they would arrive. The work was done quickly and professionally and on time. Wayne shared his ideas and then actually improved the units beyond their current condition. He "treated them as if they were his own". I was frankly blown away by the good work which is the definition of great customer service. He went way out of his way to be sure everything was right and would last. This was in 100 degree temperatures. I have to mention Evert who was working with Wayne in a training capacity. Wayne's efforts will ensure the great attitude and service orientation is passed to the next generation of practitioners at Legacy. Thanks to the Legacy team.

Noticed a few tiles that were extremly warm and the sound of running water. I knew something was going on in the master bathroom. I called and they had held a spot for me since I was waiting on the insurance company to see if I had coverage. They came out right on time and gave me the options. They were able to do a reroute through the attic and were able to locate the leak and cap the pipe. I was left with two cuts in the drywall to get to the manifolds. Both guys were very professional and were able to answer all my questions. Canon also let me know about a issue I was having with my bathtub and explained how to fix it. Definitely will be using them again for any plumbing issues.

These guys were unbelievably great. I called to schedule an appointment and they had a team in my area, so they sent them to my house. They were there in less than ten minutes. They then ran a snake through my main waste line and removed the clog. I will definitely be using them again (but hopefully I won't need to).

These guys were SPECTACULAR. Friendly, knowledgeable, and the quality of their work was Top Notch. Most importantly, they saved me from what was an imminent Water Heater disaster when they discovered that the Recirc Pump had nearly lost it's entire weld attaching it to the Water Heater. They also handled a VERY tricky Pressure Control Valve replacement (it was located inside an interior wall, and was very difficult to access) without a hitch, improving water pressure throughout the house from 50 to 80psi. I could not be more happy with the job Legacy Plumbing did. I recommend them HIGHLY.

Sean did a magnificent job! He was prompt, polite, and efficient. He thoroughly explained the problem, and when I asked if repairs were needed in another bathroom as well, he told me that the other toilet was in good working order and no repairs were needed. I was impressed that he helped me to avoid unnecessary repairs, thereby reducing my expense. He completed the work quickly, in under an hour, and the toilet now works wonderfully. I'm very impressed by them once again!
