Legacy Plumbing

Sean Reecer, the service tech that Legacy sent out today called me in advance to let me know he was on his way - he was on time - he was friendly - very courteous and did a great job on every item. This is probably the 4th of 5th time we have used Legacy Plumbing - We no longer call anyone else because we know ahead of time that the work will be done right and at a fair price and with the guarantee that if anything did go wrong they will be back to fix it. We highly recommend Legacy Plumbing!

The service went well. Two technicians came out and completed the work in about 2 days. They spent a lot of time making sure the leak was repaired. The technicians did a great job and were precise in their work. The main plumber was very knowledgeable about slab leaks and I did not feel like I was being taken. I had no problem scheduling the service.

Came out the next day I called. The plumber (Mathew) was very courteous, efficient and very professional. He did the water heater swap out and got it up to code in a couple hours. When done cleaned up before he left. Legacy Plumbing will take care of all my plumbing needs from now on...

After having several bad experiences with plumbers I was looking for a competent, trustworthy, skilled, and thorough professional Plumber. After reading a number of reviews on Angies list I contacted Legacy Plumbing to discuss my plumbing problem - a small hidden leak in my kitchen, causing minor cupping of my hardwood flooring. From the first phone call to completion of fixing the problem, everyone I talked with at Legacy was professional, competent, thorough, and skilled at their trade. After several discussions with the legacy office to try and define my problem I scheduled a visit - Daniel, a leak detection specialists, arrived at the scheduled time, quickly found the problem leak, and repaired it. He also did a great job of analyzing my plumbing to be sure there were no other problem areas. , and in fact he did find another very tiny leak in the faucet. I could not be happier with the quality of the work, Daniels attitude about finding and repairing my problem, all for a fair price. I have been looking for a "go to " plumbing company and also a skilled and trustworthy individual plumber since I moved to Dallas 13 years ago. It's Daniel and Legacy .

Appointment time was between 3pm and 5pm. Matt from Legacy called at 2.59pm to advise he'd be arriving in about 15 minutes. He arrived at the time he said he would and showed up in protective booties on his shoes and discussed what needed to be done. He was friendly, informative, and professional. He went to the truck to grab his tools and returned shortly after warning me he was going to shut off the water at the curb. He went straight to work after prepping the area with towels to stop water leaks and by placing a small bucket to catch any water and started removing the old faucet and drain, then removed the old supply lines, and explained how the new angle valves worked, and cleaned the mess under the old faucet with Lysol. After installing the angle valves, supply lines, and new faucet and drain, he cleaned up the area all the while explaining the process and answering questions in a very polite way. After turning on the water, he carefully inspected the entire area with a flashlight and spent a few minutes ensuring no water would leak while the sink filled, then he emptied the sink, checked again for leaks, and cleaned the work area under the sink with Lysol cleaner. He then cleaned the sink and faucet and surrounding area with Lysol and put his tools and towels away. He explained their reclamation process while taking the old supply lines and faucet/drain with him to dispose of later. He came back from his truck with a bill that was legible with the costs broken down by job, asked if my email address was correct and had me sign on his tablet to accept the work as completed. All total about 56 minutes, and they have one very happy customer. I'm not knowledgeable on the topic of plumbing, but Matt's experience, ability, and customer-consciousness showed as he completed his work. I wouldn't hesitate to ask Matt, or any of the Legacy folks back to provide plumbing services in the future!

I've been putting off writing a review for these guys because I wanted to write something really great that would do justice to the service they gave me. Now over six months have passed?and Angie's List keeps autodialing me to write a review?let me just say that the two men who came out to my house were more than fair and even compassionate when dealing with the multiple problems I was having. The did let me know about a big problem I'll have to handle in the future, but they handled it nicely. They did what I absolutely had to have done and a little extra, I think. It was a long day. I could have written a much better review, but now too much time has passed. Just let me say that I have had several plumbers over the years, especially dealing with the air conditioner leaking problem, and these guys did the job and finally solved the problem. One guy also had to sweat with a torch in the bathroom in order to install a new toilet flange in the floor. Didn't envy him there. The other guy taught me the most useful plumbing advice I have ever heard: "No FOG down the drain! No fats, oils or grease down the kitchen sink or any other drain." With the condition of my pipes I can't afford to damage then any more, and this is something even a mechanical dweeb like myself can remember and do. Their list prices are a bit high, but at least you feel like they are knowledgable, dependable and will back up their work.

I called Legacy Plumbing with what I thought was a leaking toilet. I had never used them before, and they indicated it might be a few days before they could have someone come out. I told them that was fine because it wasn't an emergency. (The wait was why I gave them a B for responsiveness, but it really wasn't a big deal. Just can't give 'em an A for it.) The young lady did go over potential costs as well. The scheduled time was between noon and 2:00 pm. Matt called shortly before noon to let me know he was about 30 minutes out. He showed up within 30 minutes. He was courteous, friendly and professional. He boot paper boots on as he entered my house. We went back to the bathroom, and I explained why I thought the toilet was leaking. I had other work to do, so I left him to investigate. A few minutes later he called me in to review his findings. He'd pulled the carpet up around the toilet and said he was unable to find any leaks from the toilet. He had tried rocking it and checked the bolts. He'd flushed a number of times. No wetness appeared. He explained that he thinks the wetness I'd detected probably came from the shower nearby. He then showed me how the components in the tank were aged and deteriorating. He said while it is still working and there are no detectable leaks, they're all going to need to be replaced soon. I agreed. He then quoted me a price to install a new toilet, the price to install some new components in the existing unit, and the price to install all new components (rebuild.) I plan to remodel the bathroom at some point in the not too distant future, but I have no desire to replace the toilet at this time. I selected the rebuild as I'd rather not have to worry about any of it for a while. I then asked him to replace the flapper in another bathroom. He checked the toilet in there and agreed that the components other than the flapper weren't in too bad of a shape. He offered to replace the flapper for no extra charge. Matt went to his truck to get the parts needed (removing the paper boots upon exiting the house and putting them back on when he came back in.) In just a few minutes he had completed both tasks. He showed me the components and demonstrated the functionality of the new system. We went in the other bathroom and checked the new flapper. Both toilets worked flawlessly. Matt emailed me the receipt and I gave him a check for services rendered. The entire process took about an hour. Matt gave me his card and asked me to call him directly if I had specific questions about the new components. He told me to call the main number to schedule service of course, but he said that the young ladies in the office may not know the details of what he'd done so it would be easier to just call him directly. Matt was professional and friendly. He was on time and performed the necessary work quickly. He took the time to explain the situation and clearly outlined my options. I was very impressed with the entire experience and will use them again. I definitely recommend this provider!

He had to install new vales for an additional fee. They came right out and they did a god job.

They were really professional. They came in and they sold me a really quality product; nothing cheap. They put a plug stop in there because my water heater is in the attic up in the top of my house. They got everything installed properly. The permit was all set up. They came and inspected it. No problems. They did a great job. I recommended them to my sister. They were very polite. Two guys came. They didn’t waste time. They just got to work. The one guy who was the lead was very polite and communicated everything to me. It looked like a really professional job. I sure would use them again in the future.

When I called and explained the situation. The office was able to quote three prices contingent upon what would be found. This pricing was offered without my having to explain and ask any further. Apparently, the office staff is very knowledgeable. Daniel Zukowski arrived in a timely manner and gave me the same 3 quotes and set about to determine my particular situation. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Everything was explained along the way and I was quite happy with the work. I was able to a quote on having a circulating hot water pump installed to provide instant water at all faucets.

Great! On time and efficient. Sean explained everything, showed me the problem and repaired it quickly. Great experience.

The toilet would rock back and forth and the floor bolts would not tighten. When I removed the toilet I noticed the old flange was made of cast iron and was broken. Also, the sewer pipe it was attached was lead so I knew it was going to be a bigger job than I could do. Daniel from Legacy Plumbing installed a new flange securely to the floor and then soldered the lead pipe to the flange. He then installed a new toilet while making sure everything was level at each step. He then put new grout around the toilet and made sure everything was clean. Very happy with the everything from initial communication to the completed work.

Received a call from the scheduler within the hour of posting my inquiry on Angie's list. Service was scheduled for the next week, which was fine since it wasn't an emergency. I received a confirmation call the night before the scheduled service and then again 15 minutes before the techs arrived...right on time. They were able to quickly replace a bent faucet and a leak caused by a frozen pipe and give me direction on how to avoid that issue. Because they had time, they also relit one of my water heaters which was out. All of the services were made at the price quoted to me and it was a good experience! Both techs were very polite and professional. I will definitely call them again!

We have used Legacy Plumbing. The service was an ongoing process from March to April. They were very easy to give me a discount I found out that that job would have cost me 30,000 dollars. Their timeliness stood out. It was just awesome. They got in, got the work done in a timely fashion so I wouldn't have any downtime or a slag time because it was for the complete sewer system from my house that had been affected. Overall I would like to give them an 'A' plus.

The worked quickly and fixed the problem

They were excellent to work with. They monitored the flow of the water. They ran a camera through the lines. They got the work done in 3-4 hours. They kept us informed of what they were doing.

They were good to work with. Scheduling an appointment went well. They were prompt.

Lee replaced the incorrect parts with the correct parts and for the 1st time in weeks we were able to sleep without a dripping shower. He was very professional, courteous and took the time to explain to us very thoroughly why the dripping and what repairs he made. Without a doubt, the next time a plumber is needed, the call will go to Legacy Plumbing.

On time, VERY friendly and explained clearly what needed to be done to replace my water heater. Extra work was required to get my system up to Carrollton code so the price was a little higher than quoted but no complaints from me. I would absolutely use Legacy again.

Had a surprise leak in our bathroom the day before we left for vacation. Daniel came out and did a great job on short notice. Will definitely use Legacy Plumbing again

I've used Legacy in the past and I have never been disappointed. This time is no exception. They advised me over the phone that the estimated price could be cheaper if I ordered the replacement part directly from Moen since it was still under warranty. That was painless and I scheduled the appointment after the part arrived. The cost of the trip was waived by a seasonal canned-food donation (not always available). They are always willing to talk with me over the phone about plumbing conditions/questions (toilet, faucet, etc).. even if they know I could do the repair myself and I always learn something new from the repair man if a visit is needed. The quality of the work is always top-notch and the technician dispatched is employed by the company.

I would use them in the future but they don't cover my area.

Arrived on time. Had all necessary parts with him. Answered all my questions. Was done quickly. Cleaned up afterwards.

Very meticulous on details of the installation, particularly adherence to city codes others have always disregarded. Installed additional drain and drip pan others and the builder disregarded. Have used Legacy Plumbing on numerous occasions. They are always prompt and professional and do very high quality work. A little pricy but well worth the services rendered. Would recommend them to anyone and plan to always call them first when future needs arise.

With any proivder you have to be very careful. They want one thing, as much money as possible from you. First they will tell you that the equipment is too old and must be completely replaced, at the tune of 3-4 times the actual replacement cost. This case was no different. In the end they just replenished some refrigerant and unclogged the drain pipe, and the A/C is now running fine. Just say no to all unnecessary costs.
