Legacy Plumbing

We are in the middle of a shower remodel that has gone less than perfect. After original plumbers (not sure if they were really plumbers) installed a new shower drain it did not set level which is required to build the shower pan and lay the tile properly. This could be seen by the naked eye easily and the level was off more than a full bubble. After all the issues I had already had with the shower remodel, I was done with low quality inexperienced labor and knew it was time to call a true professional plumbing company and plumber. And that's when I called Legacy Plumbing as I had used them a few months back for another plumbing issue. I specifically requested Matt Lawrence as he did my last plumbing job and I was super impressed with him. Very knowledgeable and personable and really knows his plumbing and able to explain to the customer to make them understand and feel confident the job was done right. I was actually able to call Matt directly on his cell phone number, which he has on his business card, and explain my dilemma and he instantly sized up the situation and made me feel confident he could easily install a new drain and understood the importance of getting it level. Matt showed up on time and removed the old and installed the new drain perfectly level. I also had Matt check some of the shower plumbing where the original shower remodel contractors added a shower diverter valve for a handheld shower we're installing. Matt found a couple of issues and remedied the problem. I will always use Legacy Plumbing and Matt for any of my future plumbing needs and will recommend to my friends as well.

My serviceman was punctual. He was very friendly and identified the problem right away. He did a very thorough job at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be using Legacy Plumbing for other jobs. I'm so happy to have found them here.

The experience with Legacy Plumbing was excellence! I sent in a request for an appointment on Angie's List and got an immediate call from Meagan to schedule the appointment, which she gave me a service window worked for my schedule. The technician called ahead and arrived early for the appointment, and immediately assessed the situation. He gave me a timeframe of around 2 hours and an overall cost estimate, which I accepted. He started on the rerouting the water line for the upstairs toilet as it would take the longest to do. He had to cut out the wall in the adjacent bedroom to get to the water line, which he explained before doing so. He completed the work upstairs, without a mess, which I appreciated. He immediately went to work on the two shutoff valves, tested everything, and was done in about 2 hours. The end total was less than what I was expecting and the overall quality of the work is great. I would definitely use Legacy Pluming again!

I can't begin to tell you how amazed I was with the service that Legacy Plumbing provided. Our regular plumber who lives in our neighborhood was booked up and couldn't come out. He's sort of a one man show and isn't always available for emergencies and had told us a few weeks back when we had a new kitchen faucet installed, if we ever had a problem and he wasn't available to give Legacy Plumbing a call and see if they could take care of it. I called Legacy Plumbing on Wednesday morning 05/27/15 and spoke with Megan and explained what damage I was seeing from a water leak we discovered the day before. The first available appointment they had was for Friday 05/29/15 in the afternoon. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment. Megan said if they had a cancellation they might be able to get to us sooner. She called me back later that afternoon and said they had an opening come up and she could have a technician come out first thing in the morning. I definitely took it. It's rare these days for service providers to actually call you and get you in sooner than you expected. I was definitely impressed. When Daniel and his helper was on his way he gave us a call to let us know when he would arrive. They were there within the scheduled time frame and immediately went to work to try and determine the source of the leak. Within minutes he was telling me what he thought the source of the water leak was from. He thoroughly explained everything in detail along with all the costs involved for best case scenario and worst case scenario before they began any work. It turned out to be best case scenario and the cost to replace the entire toilet with a new one was not that much more expensive than just having a new seal put in and new internal parts installed in the old toilet. I opted to have a new toilet installed and they did an amazing job. It did not take them long to get the new one installed and grouted around the base. When they were done they cleaned everything up very nicely. There are a number of other things we are going to be having done in the near future as we will be updating the inside of the house soon, and have some other plumbing work that will need to be done in the near future. Daniel quoted me the cost involved on some of the future work that needs to be done, which is great because I hate surprises! Legacy Plumbing was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you very much for the outstanding service you provided!!!

Great company with terrific personnel from the people I talked to on the phone to the technician, Matt who did the repair. Very professional and competent. Diagnosed problem quickly, had necessary parts on the truck and took less than an hour. Price was very reasonable and would definitely use them again.

Legacy called quickly to make the appointment, which was not a surprise but what did surprise me was once the appointment was made, everyting was electronic, it made my life 1000% easier!! Also, they called a day before to confirm, very nice. On the day of the appt. they were even early which in my case helped me out greatly. And yes, they called me before coming to make sure it was OK to arrive early. About the guys that actually did work, cannot say enough about them. They both were respectful to not only me and the inside of my home, but the outside as well. What I mean by that is, the tools they were using, I could see they were taking great care in where and how they would move them. They were always looking to make sure that they were not going to hit anything. They were also knew what they were doing and you could see the confidence in their work. The other thing that stood out to me was, they were not trying to "upsell" me anything and I think for that reason alone the next time I have a plumbing issue, Legacy will the first call I make! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!

We use Legacy Plumbing as our go-to plumber. Everyone who has done a service job has been professional and friendly and does a great job. This time we had Matt again. He is always in a good mood and always fixes what needs fixing and gives great input! Always great jobs! thx!

First removed toilet to check wax ring/flange to discover the floor needed repairing before could be reset and advised me of who I should call. Checked and cleaned drain line in upstairs sink to fix slow drain as well as the handle on a different sink which wasn't worth repairing at the time. Charge with Angie's discount $204.00 and said could probably come back on a continuation of service not charging an additional service fee of $50, but did anyway when returned to put toilet back and finish the job. Additional $175.00 I really liked the serviceman and the promptness with which they got our problem taken care of. Very professional! Cost may or may not have been a little much. Seemed like it, but nothing to compare to. .

The service was excellent. The two guys that came out were superb. It was probably the best service I have ever had from a service company or close to it. Of course, I did not like price. Everything is too expensive. I have called about eight plumbing companies and no one would give me an approximate price of the cost to replace the faucet even though I told them it was an in-ground, screw-in, half-in female faucet because I had just replaced it a couple of years ago. Then, I knew that the faucet at Home Depot was only $4.84 so that is why I am unhappy with the $153. However, they were the only plumbing company to give me an approximate price quote. The others wanted from anywhere from $50 to $100 to come out and give me an estimate. One guy even gave me an estimate of $450. Legacy was very nice. They came when they said. They gave me a quote beforehand. The two guys that came out were a master plumber and an apprentice plumber and they were both very nice. They did a pressure check on it and everything. I have a year of warranty on it.

I liked him and I am planning to use him again.

I was very pleased with their work. I've used them before to replace a valve in the front of the house. The first guy that came out impressed me with his suggestions. We both worked to try and find a solution. Not only that, but when he's been in the area, he's actually checked back to make sure it was done right since then. You don't find many people who will come back and check a year later on how their work was, so that was good. I have also called them for advice, thinking I needed a plumber, and they told me what to do and I never needed to use their service for that. That's an unusual thing too, that they will take the time to have somebody call you back and go over with you what you need to do.

Excellent quality and professional work. We have used Legacy before and had excellent results. A link in the water line is serious and you need someone that knows what they are doing. They also have installed a hot water heater for us and the job was excellent. I was impressed.

Really well, kind of pricey, but they know their stuff. Knowledgeable and professional.

Service person (Lee) was very professional and performed all the work on time. The quality of work was excellent and I would recommend this service to anyone who wants the work to be A-1. And yes I will use this service again, you can't go wrong with this company.

Where do I begin? After a nitemare visit from superplumbers that was sent to us by American Home Shield, I called Legacy Plumbing based on the reviews I read here. Instead of a guy showing up in his car, in jeans and a bucket of tools whom I didn't trust from the start.......I got 2 guys in uniforms, in a company truck, with a computer. 2 guys who knew exactly what they were doing, and did it. 2 guys I knew I could trust from the get go. They were nice, professional, told me the truth, and did a superb job. I got a brand new Bradford Water Heater and they put it in the attic. In fact, when they got up to check my old one, the immediately notices a few things that were not right with the original installation, like a vent or something. Anyways, now I see why they get top ratings on Angie's List. In fact, when I first called them last week, Theron explained to me about the new water heaters and regulations that go in effect next week I think. He was patient and thorough. Look, these guys are professional. That's clear. And they don't lie. A+ rating all the way.

We had Legacy Plumbing fix some minor leaks and other issues that were discovered during an inspection of our home prior to its sale. Matt Lawrence did the work and he was very knowledgeable, honest and fair. He completed all of the work for a fair price and did not try to up-sell any additional work. We have multiple businesses and have struggled to find a competent and trustworthy commercial plumber. We've used five different plumbers over the last few years and would not recommend any of them. Consequently, we had a pretty low opinion of plumbers prior to calling Legacy Plumbing for our residential work. To our surprise, Matt turned our opinion upside down and was outstanding. How refreshing to work with a plumbing company that has integrity, great people and is customer focused. They will be getting all of our plumbing business in the future. Highly recommended.

Meagan from Legacy Plumbing called me in the morning responding to an online service request I submitted the night before. She was very professional and per the description of the issues I provided to her of the problem I was having, she provided the estimated work and quote over the phone. Turns out Legacy Plumbing also had a coupon via Angie's list for Water Heater replacement service, so was able to utilize that as well. Lee, the actual service professional called my wife at 1pm and was at my house at 1:30pm. After a thorough inspection, Lee carried out the replacement water heater service and was done by 4pm. Lee went through what he did w/ a checklist and provided an explanation of how to turn off and turn on the water heater itself. He also helped us resolve an unrelated issue w/ our toilet free of charge! Overall, excellent service from the time I submitted my inquiry the night before all the way to the completion of the service itself. Both Meagan and Lee were very professional through out the process - would highly recommend using Legacy Plumbing for being transparent, responsive and professional. I was supposed to have a major drain clean-out. I purchased the wrong service. They were honest and let me know that that deal I bought was too expensive, so I got that refunded and paid them directly for a smaller amount. They did an excellent job; they were on time; they were very professional, the works. I?m grateful and would recommend them to anybody. They did a fantastic job and I really appreciate the professional service.

My service call was scheduled for 8-10 a.m. on 3/27. Lee called me a few minutes after 8 a.m. to say he would be arriving in about 20 minutes. He was right on time. Very courteous. Very professional and knowledgeable. I showed him the three areas of my home that needed work -- the shut-off valves in the laundry room, the upstairs bathtub drain, and the handle on the downstairs shower -- and he explained exactly what he would do to address each issue. He worked steadily and efficiently and informed me of his next move every step of the way. He inspired complete trust. He also noted that the water pressure coming into the house was a little too high and let me know that I should look into replacing the control gizmo (I forgot what it's called). He did not pressure me into getting a new one immediately, but simply gave me the necessary information and a 'heads up' that it could become a major problem. As soon as finances permit, I will likely be calling Legacy to have the work done. Overall, I was very impressed with the whole experience, from my initial call to the completion of the work. In terms of cost, I feel that the rates were quite reasonable. In the past, I have paid a different plumbing company much more for less work. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing.

I had six piers installed under slab in one corner of house and foundation company sent out a plumber to determine if after this work was complete if there were any leaks. After having another plumbing company come and determine there was a leak - I decided to use Legacy Plumbing to verify these findings as well as perform any repairs. Wayne and Peter first came and did an isolation test where they tested the main sewer line for leaks and also found that I actually had three total leaks. They did a thorough test of entire house and gave me an approximate cost to get it repaired. They were actually able to get me scheduled earlier than anticipated to start the process. I would require three different entry points - one could be accessed from outside of house by tunneling approx 8 feet and the other two would have to accessed via the master bath floor with jack hammers and tunneling. Wayne and Peter did an excellent job in keeping all the dirt that was dug out confined in trash cans or plastic. Any time they left at the end of the day they did a Lysol clean to keep down the bacteria and/or germs. The tunneling company they used did a nice job of tunneling and refill. If one is going to have to have this type work done - I would highly recommend this company and particularly these two men to perform the work. They were extremely pleasant and knowledgeable from start to finish. I appreciated when I first called Legacy that Theron (the owner) called me back promptly and explained some pricing up front and the office staff was always very pleasant as well. I place a lot of value on truth and honesty and I know I got that with Wayne and Peter - will definitely be using them as my go to plumbers going forward.

Matt did a thorough examination of all the appliance hookups under the sink (disposal, dishwasher, icemaker) as well as the sink pipes. He examined and tightened all the connections and valves- even the ones not near the leak. I was impressed with the way he checked everything. Then, he ran water in the sink, disposal, and dishwasher carefully watching all the pipes and valves under the sink. I was very happy with his work.

My experience with Legacy Plumbing was excellent. We will definitely be having them return in the near future. Daniel was our plumber, and I would have him back no question. He was outstanding. He was upbeat, positive, professional and seems to enjoy his work and does it well. He did not rush, explained everything to me, but did his work in a timely manner. He seemed competent and confident from a knowledge perspective. He was also able to give me on the spot quotes on future things we'd like to have done. Cleaned up nicely after his work. Several days later, everything he did is working properly with no problems at all. The experience was a very positive one. We will be booking them again soon for additional work.
