Our experience with Legacy Plumbing was excellent from start to finish. Scheduling was simple and the cost was explained in detail in advance. The installers arrived promptly and handled the removal of our old gas water heaters and installation of the new ones quickly and professionally. We purchased the Gold service plan and had the same installers visually inspect our entire home for any potential issues. They provided a detailed listing with quotes so we can have this work performed in the future at our discretion. A particular favorite was the electronic paperwork/invoice with photos of our new and old water heaters which will be useful for our records. We will definitely use this company again. We highly recommend them.

Our water heater died during the night, with some flooding into our walk-in closet as well as in the garage. Legacy Plumbing committed to coming out that day, and they came early in the window of time they gave us. Sean was very professional and courteous, explained our options and what he was doing, did the work quickly, and even installed a couple of preventative measures in case this ever happens again.

Legacy did a FANTASTIC job! Very thorough explanation and options. Fixed my outside water faucet and made it easy to replace parts myself in the future. Who does that!!! Very professional and showed up EARLY for my appointment. Felt safe with them showing up in well marked vehicle and dressed very professional as well. Called me to confirm appointment, called to reconfirmed and then called when on their way. Plus the donate some proceeds to Frisco Family Services and I donated some food in lieu of service fee. Top knotch company and will use again if I need!

Called multiple plumbers who gave me rough estimates (One was for $1500) and decided to give Legacy plumbing a call as we chose not to go with others. They didn't have any openings that day but put us on a list incase they had any openings. They called us a few hours later and had someone out very quickly that same day. Both installers (Canon and Matthew) were awesome, very knowledgeable and walked me through everything they were doing. Very professional and nice. I was extremely impressed with their work and would absolutely hire Legacy Plumbing again without thinking twice about it. As for the cost, I'm really shocked at how cheap it was compared to the quality of work that they did. We had another quote for $1500 and that was before they even knew what all the job entailed.

- Started smelling gas around the area where the gas line enters my house. Called Atmos Energy who came out, verified the leak and shut the gas off. - Searched Angie's List, as well as Atmos Certified plumbers website. Both websites had high ratings for Legacy Plumbing, so I called them. After explaining my situation, they gave me an estimate breakdown on pricing. I agreed and made an appointment for the next morning. - I received a phone call from Daniel the next morning to introduce himself and let me know they would be at my house within 30 mins. 30 minutes later, Daniel & Schuyler arrived. - After showing them the problem, they gave me a very detailed description of the work that needed to be done, including recommendations. I was also provided with a detailed estimate, which was within the original estimate from my initial phone call. - The end result was an impeccable repair job. They added a gas shut-off valve (recommended by them), repainted the entire pipe with UV protectant spray paint and left the area very clean. - Upon checking all of my gas appliances prior to performing a leak test, Daniel discovered some issues with my hot water heaters (e.g. venting had broken loose, improper drainage of tank in the garage, etc.) This plus the fact that my water heaters were 12-yrs-old, I asked for a quote, received a very acceptable price, and I agreed. They were able to do the work the same day, saving me from needing a 2nd city permit. Daniel & Schuyler are very professional and friendly. They provided me with all the facts I needed, and I never felt pressured to purchase anything. They left every work are clean. Even the Atmos technician who came to turn the gas back on commented on their excellent craftsmanship and how clean the work areas looked. I was overly pleased with the service I received from Legacy Plumbing and will use them again in the future.

very professional, actually gave me the 30 minute warning call, and arrived a few minutes early. took care of the installation quickly and efficiently, tidied the work area so that it was even better than before he arrived, and used their wireless tablet get my signatture and email me the receipt

I can truly say I would use Legacy Plumbing again because I did. We sold a house and the water pressure in the area had increased in the last two years. As a result, the buyer wanted a PRV installed. Legacy gave me a range that the price might be in depending on permits, digging, location, etc... The PRV is installed near the existing back flow prevention valve that is in the flower bed under two sizable rose bushes. Doug was undaunted and created a space for him to dig down to the existing valve for the installation. The builder's installation turned out to be not very professional as it was under an upside down 5 gallon painters bucket that had the bottom cut out and a green lawn sprinkler cover on it. Doug ended up having to dig almost 2 feet below the surface to find a poor condition valve. He replaced the valve, re-routed the line, installed the PRV, installed an actual valve box, and filled the box with pea gravel. Then he replaced all the dirt from the dig and put the mulch back in place. I would definitely use Legacy Plumbing again in the future.

Lee was fantastic and very helpful. He was prompt, clean, professional, and gave us a great price. Lee also gave us some insight into preventative maintenance on some plumbing issues, some of which weren't even part of why we called. The entire experience was great and we will be using them exclusively from now on.

Absolutely the best service company I have worked with in many years. These days you are not sure if you?re getting the full scope of the job or work to be completed by the tech. You wonder if they are ?up selling? or simply trying to get in and out of your home quickly and on to the next paying job. None of this was true with my sewer line and water line replacement adventure this month in McKinney. Our plumber gave us a complete and thorough evaluation of a very serious sewer problem in our crawl space which was accessible by only the most tenacious of service types. . Sam D at Legacy Plumbing was so focused and concerned about finding all the issues since it would be large excavation effort and we would not want to miss any problems and have to dig up again in the future. The total event took 3 days with a few extra days for city inspection. The two man plumbing crew was clean, efficient and polite! My single point of customer service contact was a joy and easy to work with over the week of scheduling and completion. This is an A+ team at Legacy Plumbing of Frisco and I should also mention they were the 3rd of three plumbing companies at our home that week. Each one gave us a piece of the puzzle and Legacy (SAM) gave us the big picture at a very competitive cost.

The office staff were friendly and helpful. Sam arrived on time and assessed the problems. He gave a complete description of what would be needed for each area. He not only repaired everything, he cleaned all the work areas perfectly. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Sam is an excellent technician and I will definitely call on him and Legacy Plumbing if needed in the future.

Fast response, pleasant staff, knowledgeable plumbers. This is the second time they have done work for us. Really a great company. They came out quickly, diagnosed the problem, (a leak in the slab) and made the necessary repairs, and worked clean. This is a company that you can trust not to oversell. They were pleasant on the phone and were here when they said they would be. It is obvious that they take pride in their work and I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs.

I am rating the provider favorably only because how nice they were on the phone. They understood I needed to get someone out and went ahead and booked me for the earliest appointment even though I was looking for someone else. Ultimately, I did find another plumber and cancelled my request with Legacy. They were very gracious.

Diagnosed the problem that other plumbers scratched there heads about and fixed timely and effectively, while leaving everything clean. Very friendly service and will continue to call Legacy Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

Legacy was prompt, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. They explained their process of diagnosing the problem and kept us informed of their findings the entire time. Options and recommendations for the fix were offered. They were patient with our questions and took the time to help us understand how our home would be restored, not only with the plumbing but with the restoration company and insurance. Dealing with a flood is not a fun experience but feeling like you have fair, competent, and understanding professionals helping you is a great thing.

Very professional and responsive. They were able to give rough estimates before coming out so I knew what to expect. Easy to work with and good at explaining options before work is done. They did some basic troubleshooting to locate the leak, including some digging. The leak ended up being between the main water line and the main sprinkler valve. Since they do not work on sprinkler systems, the cost was only to diagnose the issue, not fix it. Overall very happy with the my interactions with them.

My water heater stopped working, found that it was physically in bad shape. Legacy plumbing did not have an appointment for the same day but put me on a cancellation list. I got confirmation of appointment within 2 hours. The technicians arrived on time, found that the heater was just few hours from bursting. They came prepared to replace a 50gal heater but realized that I have a 75gal one. They called their office got on delivered while they were working on dismantling the old one. The whole process took 2 hours. The quality of work is excellent.

Daniel showed up on time (actually early, but called to make sure it was okay). He was very friendly (actually, the whole company seems to go out of their way to be pleasant i.e. phone receptionist and scheduler). He had a new person he was training with him and as I opened the door he was telling the person to always walk on the sidewalks, never the grass (a nice touch). When I explained the problem he said that the Angie's list coupon could be put toward what I needed even though the coupon was not an exact match (it was for an external main drain camera and unclog instead of an internal sink unclog). The coupon ended up covering the whole cost of the repair and no extra money was needed. He knew what the problem was immediately (air conditioning drainage lines causing buildup in sink drainage line as they are connected together) and had the sink unclogged in 30 minutes. He once again explained to the trainee that it is company policy to always leave the work area in nicer condition than it was found in (they cleaned the sink and countertop - another nice touch). Daniel recommended a product that can be used to never have this problem again (Bio Clean). Finally, they checked the pressure of the water coming into the house and noted it was a little high. 90 PSI instead of between 40 to 80 like it should be and recommended adding in a pressure reducer (not a high pressure sales pitch, just more of an FYI). He said the high pressure in Frisco is usually around 135 which damages a lot of the houses appliances and faucets and actually invalidates the warranty on some items. FYI: this company will now be my go to plumbing company. I recently had Benjamin Franklin come out to replace two bathroom faucets. The cost was wallet-rapingly offensive $650 for less than one hour of work. I later replaced the faucets myself again because my wife didn't like the new hardware we had gotten and it took me less than an hour as well. I felt cheated. I did not have that problem with Legacy Plumbing. The price was fair for a high quality job.

This was the second time I have used Legacy Plumbing, and they exceeded my expectations again. They did an amazing job, explaining everything along the way. Legacy Plumbing is always extremely professional - well dressed, well mannered, and tidy. Legacy Plumbing only sends the best people to your home. They are so knowledgeable about their profession. They come in, get the job done right the first time, and leave the customer knowing that they got a good value for their money. Steven was our plumber today, and I highly recommend him. He made sure that he fixed our issues in the most cost efficient manner possible. He even gave us his contact information and said we could call him directly if we had any questions. Wayne was our master plumber on the job and was amazing to work with. He drew pictures of the situation and explained everything in detail, giving us options for how to resolve the issue. He also kept us apprised of status throughout the job so that there would not be any surprises.

I had a sink installed and plumbed in by another company/plumber and needed some valves put in under the kitchen sink. Daniel and Matthew came out to do the work, at which point Daniel also noticed the disposal wasn't put in securely when installing the three new valves. Matthew also moved some lines in the wall and secured them so they wouldn't be dancing around in the wall every time the water was turned on and off. (all the work above sounds simple, but it was very time consuming and there's a definite art to it all.) The employees at Legacy Plumbing have always been amazing to work with. Daniel has been to the house on multiple occasions to help resolve a previous plumbing company's bad work. He is always courteous, professional and very knowledgeable of the products, procedures and plumbing codes. If you don't have a go to plumber, this is the guy you want. Legacy might not be the cheapest plumbing company out there, but they are the best and they are on time and get the job done right the first time. Just consider how much peace of mind is worth the next time you're shopping around for a plumber and go ahead and add Legacy to your contacts now.
