Making appt was good - they discussed the range of charges; friendly and helpful. Received a call about 20 minutes before arrival, well within the 2 hour window they gave me. Lee showed up right on time. He made sure that he understood the work to do; he looked it over and then showed me what he thought needed to be done and what it would cost. Once we agreed, he proceeded to do the work. When done, he walked me through the work he had done and gave me tips on things I might do myself to save some time/money later. He also discussed and quoted some other work that might come up based on the age of my plumbing - just in case. Everything was done very professionally - very pleased with the service.

Before the work began, Daniel met with me to go over all of the details. He was thorough in describing what would happen each step along the way and was patient to answer any questions I had. He also provided a timeline of the work, which I very much appreciated. The excellent communication I received from Daniel continued throughout the job with updates each day. Because my home was built in the 1950s and still had the original plumbing system, the work required during this process was quite extensive. However, I was completely at ease knowing that I had a plumber as skilled, knowledgeable, and talented as Daniel. I could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Legacy Plumbing!
Description of Work: Legacy Plumbing re-plumbed my house, replaced the sewer line, and installed two new toilets. Daniel is an outstanding! I also appreciate the excellent work of Matthew, Canon, and Logan who assisted during the process. This was a large job and a significant investment for me, but I was incredibly impressed with Daniel's professionalism, knowledge, skill, and the way he managed the job.

It was very refreshing to have a true professional (Canon Patchell) calmly tell us what was wrong, how he would fix it and how much it would cost. He gave us guidelines on when the hot water heater would need to be replaced, but did not try to upsell us on the spot. We now have a plumber for life.

See above. It's all there...
Description of Work: I had a 18 inch round water spot in the ceiling of one of our guest bedrooms. As the spot was next to the wall where the plumbing fed the master bathroom's sinks, I believed it to be a plumbing issue. When the plumber arrived, he found that the problem was a roof leak and not a plumbing leak. He sprayed water on the roof, returned to the attic and confirmed that the water was dripping inside from the roof. He took a couple of pictures, e-mailed them to my wife, gave my wife an invoice for a $50 trip charge and a $135 service fee for a total of $185. He was great!

Requested service by email on Sunday, and Legacy called first thing Monday morning and arrived around 9 a.m. It took them 12 minutes to diagnose the source of the leak. They fixed it quickly and discussed some other issues with us and gave us estimates and advice on various things related to plumbing, water pressure, etc. They took their time to talk to us about anything we wanted to know and suggested the best types of materials for some DIY stuff that my husband handles. Very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. This was the second time we have used Legacy, and were very pleased with their work and also their commitment to charitable work like The Water Project and other efforts. It's hard to find plumbers you can trust, but this team seems to be the real deal.

After seeing reviews on Angie's, I talked to Legacy on the 26th and got an appointment for the 31st. I wanted to plumbing company that also has experience working with water heaters. They gave me a quote for a range of possible charges on the phone depending on what has to be fixed. Sean called and came as scheduled, explained the fix needed, provided warranty details (1-year on connector) and started work. He completed the fix within the estimated 30 minutes and also showed me where the leak was on the old connector. He provided me with a written quote in case I need to replace the water heater itself - I requested it since its 12+ years old now. Overall good experience and I'm happy with the work performed.

I viewed the water leaking inside our house at the toilet supply line as an emergency. We had used Legacy Plumbing in the past, and had been satisfied with their work, so I called them first. When I called Legacy they scheduled me for the next day, but put me on a wait list for the current day. Thank goodness they were able to send someone that same day. He arrived at the scheduled time, and immediately assessed the situation, and replaced out shut-off valve and supply line to the toilet. Our frost proof outdoor faucets had been dripping for some time, so I thought this was a good opportunity to have a professional look at them. He was able to tighten one of the faucets so that it no longer leaked, but the other one had to be replaced. He accomplished this without removing any bricks, which we were happy with. In addition he re-caulked the sink in the master bathroom for no charge. We really appreciated that. We were very satisfied with the work and the price, and would use them again

Doug, from Legacy Plumbing, was right on time, and he went to work on the new Delta faucet. He was very kind and professional throughout the whole process. He told me that I had a leak around the sink strainer. He said that it would cost $147.00 for him to fix it, but since he was an honest fellow, Doug showed me how to fix it myself for about $15.00! I would definitely recommend Doug and Legacy Plumbers to anyone.

This is my very first review - I'll try to do more since I depend so much on what other people have so kindly taken the time to write. I've been in my current house 24 years and have not found a good plumber (I rate by quality and also price) until today. My water bill has more than doubled in the past 3 months - and I noticed a very soggy area in my front yard. I was not going to go for Ben Franklin again. (They charged me an outrageous amount for 2 faucet replacements than tried to up charge me to fix shoddy work they had previously done - but that is another review I'll be doing in the future). I did research, read reviews on Angie's list and Yelp and decided to try out Legacy Plumbing. What a great idea to try Legacy Plumbing. Appointment was between 10 and 12:00 - I got a call from Lee at 11 saying they were 15 minutes away. They showed up ready to go. Lee and his apprentice Logan were very professional and got right to work. Fortunately it wasn't cold - but it was VERY muddy (I took pictures - wish I could attach them to show you the conditions they powered through) They communicated very well and did a great job diagnosing the issue. Lee was hoping I didn?t have a Polybutylene water line (typically a blue pipe) since he's seen many issues with these and they are no longer used. But, when they dug down - sure enough - a blue pipe that indicated it was the faulty pipe that hasn't been used since 1995. There were multiple holes in the pipe that we observed even without water pressure. At first we thought were just a few holes - and they repaired that and turned the water on. Water leak continued. They dug more till they hit a dry section. They ended up having to dig up and replace about a 6 foot section before the leaks were solved. . This would have cost me about $700. Since we plan to stay in this house another 10 years - I opted to get a complete new water line with a new water box. The cost for a new line will be $2340. They are not charging me for the $700 of repairs - just the normal cost for a new line. Great! Lee gave me his business card and said call him anytime - even Sunday evening - if I have any issues or questions. If this is the service I can expect, I'll continue using Legacy Plumbing. I finally found a good plumber (and it only took 24 years).
Description of Work: Repaired a leak. Then - they are applying that cost to the cost of a new water line.

The plumber I've used for 10 years no longer provides services in my area. I was hesitant to find a new plumbing outfit - Angie's List to the rescue. Sam was great. A nice professional with a great attitude and friendly demeanor. He was running a little early and called to see if that was okay - of course. We'd only planned on replacing one toilet stop valve, but since I had two left in the house to replace, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask if he had time to do both while he was here. Sam obliged. The replacement parts are of high quality (clearly). The work was done quickly and professionally. The pricing was competitive for the stop valves. The garden hose valve repair price seems high since I had what I believe to be essentially the same problem solved 5 years ago for considerably less. However, I'll be the first to admit that I don't know for certain that the same work was done. Sam left the place cleaner than he found it. I wholeheartedly recommend Legacy Plumbing and thank Sam for providing such great service.
Description of Work: Two toilet stop valves and hoses were provided and installed, replacing two builder-grade stop valves and corrugated hoses. Additionally, we had a slow drip out of a garden hose valve, which was also replaced.

I used Legacy at least four times since then. We call them if we have plumbing issues and I called them to complete the plumbing work. Basically, turning everything back on after we did remodelling. They were the ones who came out to me when we first did the remodelling. They shut off the water, shut off the gas on the internal connection and they turned it back on. Plus, the plumber that came out helped me make my oven. It turned out that the gas pipe was in the wrong place and re-routed the gas line for me. The most recent time they came out was probably last winter. I would definitely use them again. They're very small company but just the way they handle their customer, they're very professional but at the same time they would explain things to you in a way that you will understand even if you're not a plumber. The guy go out the way to help.

clI have used Legacy Plumbing before and have had excellent service. This time was no exception. I had had some noises inside my gas water heater, so I was watching the area closely and realized the water expansion tank which attaches near the water heater was apparently rusted, along with its fitting and water was dripping. I called Legacy and got a cost estimate and an appointment for the next morning to replace the tank. In addition, I had mentioned my noise issue with my water heater, so Megan, who answered my call said she would have a master plumber call me when he was available to discuss this with me. He called me a hour or so later and we discussed my water heater and he recommended that I not replace it just for this noise so long as I was getting hot water and the tank was not leaking. He said the noise was not unusual and would vary based on the incoming water temperature. He assured me that this was not dangerous. He also suggested that if I was concerned about a leak in the tank I should get a water alarm at Lowe's and put it where the tank would drain to warn of problems. I thought this call was an excellent service by Legacy., As far as my expansion tank was concerned, they gave me a two hour window for someone to be there, between 8 and 10 the next morning. I got a call at 8 am the next day saying there could be there in 10 minutes if I was ready for them. They had two men on the team that came to my house, and they quickly and professionally replaced the defective tank and also the rusty fitting. In addition, they moved the support for the tank so it would be on a stud instead of just into wallboard in the garage, which is where the builder had put it. They explained what they were doing to me and answered a few questions I had about it. The total charge was exactly what had been estimated although they had said when giving the estimate that there could be extra charge if it was complicated to do the replacement. I felt the charge was very fair. In addition, they checked the pressure relief valve on my water heater since they had the water turned off to the tank.

The job was done everyone's satisfaction and the drain was cleared so we can now use my newly remodeled master bathroom. Thanks to Legacy Plumbing!
Description of Work: Canon from Legacy Plumbing came to clear the line in my master bathroom that had trash put down the drain by an unqualified remodelers. Many things done wrong were discovered and Canon had to cut into my bedroom wall. Vent lines were not the correct piping and were not even held together. We had a sink backup which looked like dirt and sand mixed- we thought slab leak! Legacy checked for suspected grey water slab leak. They used a snake cam. They found it was just a clogged up drain-what a relief! They cleared it and even fixed a broken hunk of pvc n/c.They also looked at a re-pipe job I had done myself, and were complimentary of my work. Additionally, they found a tactful way to suggest some improvements without hurting my feelings... which I'm going to complete. They provided some further direction on how to prevent any problems in the future (taking out a tree). Thanks guys for being so straightforward and tactful. I will say that this Company gets any plumbing business I can't handle myself from now on.

Doug and Schyler were professional, friendly and exacting. They arrived right on time, reviewed my requests and gave me an explanation and quotes before they began. I immediately trusted both and felt confident they would do a great job. I was not disappointed! During the toilet replacement, Doug encountered a broken flange, which is why the old toilet was rocking. He immediately brought that to my attention and let me know it would be an additional cost of $273.00 and asked permission to proceed. Of course, I agreed. I would highly recommend Legacy to anyone and already have to another friend who was awaiting my experience. They truly do provide "service with integrity." When they were finished (took about 4 1/2 hours), they started to clean up and vacuum. After they picked up their tools, I said I would vacuum as they were so thorough, there was very little left to clean. Schyler (pronounced "Skylar") said, "Oh no, we want to do it the Legacy way." I thanked them again and sent them on their way. I have lived in my house for 27 years and this is, by far, my best experience ever with plumbing issues. Hopefully, I won't need anything for awhile but, if I do, You better believe I'll call Legacy!

We are very happy with the seamless installation of the new water heater and feel that the technicians went above and beyond to take care of every aspect of our installation. They left the area clean and the water temperature set. They showed us how to adjust the heat and provided some dos and don'ts for use. We would not hesitate to recommend Legacy Plumbing.
Description of Work: Legacy installed a 50-gallon water heater in our garage. Not only did they remove our old water heater, but they also installed with new venting pipe. They retrofitted our existing venting because we relocated our water heater to the garage. They placed a new vent pipe on the rooftop[ which meant entering the attic.
