So he had to run and get some parts so he could splice out the bad section. He was back in about 45 minutes and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes plus he tested all the lines to make sure there weren't any other leaks in the other 6 flex gas lines running off the manifold in the attic. Was very surprised that he new immediately what the problem was, but he said it happens a lot with new roofs. Very happy with how quickly he came and fixed the problem and felt his price was very fair.

What a great guy and, boy! Does he know his stuff. The additional charge for the extra work was extremely reasonable, making the whole experience that much better. Well, Steve is now our "Guy." Could not be happier.

This company is now on my speed dial! I woke up to a bad water heater leak and called a couple of companies to come out. Steve was not immediately available, so another company came out first. That was a waist of time and money because the technician of the other company spent an hour discussing the price of the replacement. I then called Steve back, and he came out to the house, immediately drained two water heaters, shut off the water to them and turned the water to the rest of the house back, which was critical for our family with small kids. The next morning he replaced both water heaters at a great price and with the necessary level of detail. His does not cut corners and left the site clean after completing the job. I highly recommend GPS plumbing and would not hesitate to call them again. To me, trustworthiness in this business is paramount, especially knowing that you will not be taken advantage of in case of an emergency.

Steve is a great guy and very skilled at what he does. From the initial quote to the actual service, Steve was a pleasure to work with. Steve took time to explain to me the process he would go through for the install and even took time to talk with me personally. A very good guy and a pleasure to talk with. Never once did I feel Steve was there to just do his job, make some money, and get out. He was very engaging, genuine, personable, and professional, on both the business and personal end. Highest recommendation - Steve got a few bonus points as he happened to be in the area and showed up all of 20 minutes after I called. Very professional, courteous, and capable. Diagnosed what needed to be done within minutes, quoted immediately, and had the work done very quickly including a run to Lowe's for parts. Would absolutely recommend Steve to anybody.

The job went amazingly well. Steve is very professional, punctual, and patient. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. He even agreed to test the automatic shut off valves to ensure they worked; which they did. Couldn't be happier with the service Steve provided.

I had no hot water for almost a month, so you can imagine how frustrated I was. The pipes were still hot so that indicated there was nothing wrong with the heater, but I still didn't have hot water at the faucets! The heater was still under warranty so I had called the Co., the plumber who had installed it, and various other plumber's and no one was willing or able to help me. So after checking on Angie's List, I luckily found Steve with GPS Plumbing and was so relieved when he very willingly said he'd come look at it, even though he agreed it sounded strange. He came shortly after I called and checked everything he could think of. After a bit of head scratching he finally found it!! It was the probe from the Foodstop unit which is placed in the water pan. It hadn't been insulated correctly at the time of installation. Wow, was I glad that it was fixed and I finally had hot water!! And to top it off, he didn't even charge me. Believe me - I certainly appreciated that!

Steve called back promptly, set up a time within the week and provided great service. He was professional and had no trouble with the installation. I recommend this company.

I thought there might be a leak around my water main and after calling out the city water folks they said it was on the house side of the mains, and also that my pressure reducing valve should be checked. GPS made it out to me the very next day to check it. They were so professional and friendly, arrived exactly when they said they would, and checked everything for me. They bailed out the water from the hole in the ground, checked everything thoroughly and reported that the water was from the saturated ground around the holes from all the rain we've had recently and so it was draining into the holes. They checked the pressure too and reported it was at perfect level. I was happy to hear all that, and was totally expecting to pay a service call charge at least, but there was no charge! Very responsive, honest, good people, and I will use them every time again in the future. I wouldn't consider any other plumber having now found GPS.

Great work! Friendly and professional. Removed the old toilet and installed the new one, including cleanup and removal of old toilet. Took care to make sure no water spilled anywhere.

I had a clogged kitchen drain. I tried to snake it myself from the cleanout outside, to no avail. Steve came out (same day as my call) and was very efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He got the drain unclogged (clog was about 20 ft down) however it returned a couple of days later. Steve came back out again (very prompt) and took care of it (no charge for 2nd visit). While being courteous, Steve had a good sense of what he was there to do and did not take up additional time from the homeowner. Love to see a tradesman, get in, get the job done and get out. Way too much sales pitching these days...

Pilot light in my mother's water heater had gone out. I tried relighting it multiple times Tuesday night but it would not stay lit. I assumed it needed a thermocoupler but did not have the time or inclination to do it myself and called GPS as they've done work for me before. I explained the problem and Steve offered to come over the next day.He showed up at my mother's at around 1pm. He lit the pilot and it actually stayed lit for him. To my surprise he did not ask for anything despite making the trip. I really appreciate the quick response and am greatful that he did not charge for the visit. Will definitely continue to use GPS plumbing - Steve works fast, is affordable and easy to work with.....this was just icing on the cake.

My old hot water heater burst in my garage. I went to the home improvement supercenters and did my homework online. Steve of GPS Plumbing beat every competitor on price, punctuality, quality, and customer service. I was very impressed with his ability to respond to my needs so quickly. His hot water heater price was great and a quality brand. Plus he enlightened me on the history of my old water heater (14 yrs old). I definitely recommend GPS Plumbing and will contact them for my future plumbing needs.

It was excellent. They showed up on time and got the job done. I think we actually tried to call them and didn't get a hold of them when we had a problem a couple of months ago so we didn't get a response from them.

mower discovered Friday morning that gas was leaking from gas meter line on my side of meter, so I looked to Angie's List for a plumber. GPS had 100% A's and was close by, so I called him. He said he was booked solid for the next couple of days but I should call another guy that he highly recommended, unfortunately he was booked out for 3-4 days, so I called Steve back for another referral and he said he would come by at the end of the day. I made the mistake of calling Coserv because they locked down the meter which then requires that I would have to get the City of Frisco to inspect the work once the plumbing repair was done. I'd understand if the repair was inside the house, but those are the rules. Great were are going to be without hot water for the whole weekend. Steve had the fix done Friday night and took the initiative to contact the city about a rapid inspection and found out there's a special service for an extra $100 and the city has a guy 24/7 to do inspections. So Steve called him Friday night and but we could get no one to return calls. So on Monday morning Steve first thing goes to do the paper work for the inspection bumps into the manager who told him about the special service and the guy that was supposed to be on call to do it. Hope that problem gets fixed. Inspector arrived Monday mid morning and he contacted Coserv to say ok to turn gas back on, Coserv was there within the hour. Done. Steve went out of his way to work late on Friday and tried to get an inspector out that night which I greatly appreciate. He's a great guy to talk to and would highly, highly recommend.

The company was a little busy and I was contacted by a company that could do it sooner. I really like this company and will use them in the future.

Steve provided excellent service, after the initial contact he followed up with email to confirm and again the day before the visit. he arrived on time and the operation went smoothly and he cleaned up after the work was done. a really good experince

I called Steve on Saturday to make an appointment. He was at the grocery store when I called so I followed up with him on Sunday and we set a time of 8am Monday morning. He was very prompt, showing up about 5 minutes till. Within minutes he had identified the issue and set about repairing. I also inquired about an occasional backup so he checked the outlet pipes and advised all was normal and that I should try drano or similar residential drain cleaner if the problem was not considered serious. Steve was very courteous and efficient. The charge for the fix was only $70 and he didn't ask for anything additional to disassemble and inspect the drain. A minor repair but a good experience!

Everything was perfect! Steve is professional, personable and honest. I'm so glad I have a 'go to' plumber now! He removed and hauled away the old toilets. New toilets and disposal were installed great and the area was left clean. His price and work ethics are the best. Will use Steve again!

Steve and his son Justin showed up approximately three hours after we called on a Friday afternoon. He was working a project when we called and made it a priority to come as soon as possible, since we had been without water from the night before. He showed up with all the tools and a new water heater fully prepared to help us if we decided to use his services (which is very rare, most of the contractors I've used in the past needed to go get more supplies). He was very professional and personable. I knew that my project was going to be a bit of a challenge since the last person that owned my home installed the hot water heater half way in the water closet and ran it into the attic. It didn't phase him a bit, and he took care of it promptly and didn't charge for the extra effort (as most do). He was very courteous and made sure to clean up afterwards and waited around for thirty minutes or more after the project was completed to make sure everything worked properly. While waiting he also fixed a small issue we had with one of our toilets and didn't charge for that since it didn't need any parts (that too never happens). Then he gave me a quote to fix another item that was well below an inflated bid that I had gotten from a different plumber prior. I would HIGHLY recommend Steve to anyone looking for a plumber and I plan on using him again for all my plumbing needs.
