EXPERT POOLS

Expert pools were sent through AHS. Joe arrived on time and was very professional. He replaced the timer and didn't try to upsell or anything. He was trustworthy and I’ll definitely use their service again.

They came out and did the diagnostic test to confirm the pump needed to be replaced. They never showed back up to fix it and still tried to charge me for everything. They are scammers and low class and hang up on you when you call them.

Just left the pool in service mode without saying anything. Lead me on for multiple weeks that the part was on order until canceling the order. Claiming the warranty didn't approve so I asked for a quote with the reply that we don't want to do it and you should by a new controller from us instead.

- Pool filter is still leaking. I have tried calling the company but received no responses. (See the web link for the leaking filter canister, you can see that the filter canister's surface is rough as a result of Experts Pool's patching job: http://sdrv.ms/17gEIRW) - The 2nd opinion/statement regarding the booster pump is again not factual.

Jamie did fix the O-rings and pressure gauge, however, he refused to fix the union to the heater, stating that it "wasn't broken or affecting the pool". If that union breaks, we have been told by multiple companies that it will drain the pool. Expert pools also switched our control board to make their replacement timer work. This caused the manual switches to stop working. Expert pools stated "you are not supposed to use the switches anyway" and would not come back out to resolve the problem. They've only done make-shift patches to fix the equipment under the home warranty. Since our experiences with them, we have asked they be put on our "refused vendor" list with the warranty company, so our work orders are not sent to them in the future.

The first repair did not work. They had to come back out and totally replace the pump motor. Should they have known if they needed to replace a new one? I do not know. The standard is that they were to replace a part. If that did not work, they were to come back out.

Setup an appointment for Tuesday afternoon. Agree on a 20 minutes call before tech arrives at home. No call at all. they just showed up. He started the work, and indicated he will return on Thursday to complete the work. They didn't show up. Called several times and left voice mails. It has been three business days and no call back from the company at all.

Waste of time, unskilled, liars

I use them for my weekly service; they have been prompt and professional. I never have to worry about anything--they take care of it. I have had a few repair issues come up, and it has been handled quickly, effectively and at fair price. In fact, I was away for two months on a cross country bike trip 2000 miles away, and Kyle called me to let me know I had a leak issue. He handled everything, and got it fixed within 24 hours. No worries. I know I am in good hands with this company, and Kyle.

Punctual, professional and responsive. It's just that the estimate was out of line with the market.

Overall the experiece went good. Contractor came when they said they would come and provided the best price on 3 bids. I had the option of my many tile designs from a local tile store that has a contract with Expert. On the day before the job, they came and drained the pool to prepare it for the tile work. Contractor came on time on the work day with the correct materials. Two men worked diligently for 2 days to complete the work which was delayed slighly because of inclement weather. Work was done to my satisfaction and the crew and manager was friendly. A few months later some of the grout where the pool meets the top of the side of the pool started to shrink (This is normal and happens in hot Texas weather) I called Expert Pool back and they came without a probelm at all and re grouted some of the sections to my satisfaction.

I think they did a terrific job. There was quite a bit of back and forth involved, and they were very prompt with getting back to me. They did overlooked one part of the repair, which was not in the original estimate, but they only charged me only for the part. I think they went above and beyond what others would do. I would highly recommend them.

Great. They showed up the very next day from when we called in. They are honest, even advised us that some "fixes" another company said was required, were not. Saved us hundreds of dollars. Courteous technicians are also very helpful with answering questions about the pool and equipment in general. We will definitely be using Expert Pools for any pool repairs.

He came in and fixed my furnace which I have had problems with for a long time. He was very polite and professional. He had to come back and make little adjustments. He was very knowledgeable.
