We have seen them twice. They came out in August and prior to that too. Our air conditioner was not working. They were personable and they got it fixed. One of the days they were here within an hour.

When our 15 year old air conditioner developed a hole in the coil, it was apparent our best option was to replace the system. We contacted several companies for quotes and chose Air Masters of Frisco for the following reasons: 1) Jennifer, our first contact at Air Masters, is extremely professional and informative. She arranged an appointment with Randy, the lead technician, immediately. 2) Randy arrived exactly when scheduled and explained in complete detail the best plan for us. He is consummately professional and knowledgeable. He is also very pleasant and trustworthy. 3) Though their price was not the lowest bid we received, we are confident that we received the best option at the fairest price. 4) Installation day was amazing! Randy and his team arrived on time, placed clean runners on all floors, worked diligently and quietly all day. The team, like Randy, are the most polite and efficient technicians we have ever encountered. The installation was seamless and we have not had any problems with our system thus far. 5) We are confident that Air Masters' Staff will provide us with excellent service in the future. We highly recommend Air Masters and plan to contact them when our other system requires replacement.

I had to pay additional charge for the capacitor. They are very responsive and service is good and if I have a problem with my a/c I will call them again. I would absolutely use them again.

Everything went well. Tech was on time and was very knowledgeable and educated me as a customer and gave tips for better performance, in personally clean and help maintain system.

Contacted Airmaster's to have the coils in my upstairs unit inspected and cleaned. They setup a morning appointment right away, but did call back having to reschedule for a little later in the day. I rearranged my schedule and within 30 minutes of the scheduled service the technician called to let me know he was on his way. Then, 5 minutes later he called me back asking questions about what type of unit I have in case they need to replace anything out side. When I reiterated that I only need my coils inspected for mold or debris I was told that they do not inspect coils. Very disappointing that Airmaster is unable to provide this service after setting up the appointment to do so and having me wait all day.

I called Air Masters on that same Monday and spoke with Randy. He came out on Tuesday, inspected they system, replaced the bad capacitor and replaced refrigerant that was low. It immediately fixed the problem. The system is old and will be replaced at some point. But Randy at Air Masters repaired the unit so that it was cooling when company came, plus it gives up time to think of options for replacement. But which ever unit we choose, I will ask for a bid from Air Masters first. They did a great job!

If you use this contractor you will not have a problem with them. They did a really good job. They were really knowledgeable and they sent about five or six guys to work on my job and they were just the best. They gave me a pretty good price. Their pricing was within ball park. Their responsiveness and punctuality were also very good.

When the service man first arrived he asked exactly what was happening with our unit. As soon as he heard that the unit was 14 years old, he told us we were going to need to replace it because it was too old. After looking at the system for only a couple of minutes he told us he could try to change out the boot parts for $650 but he didn't have the parts with him and it would take a day or two to get them. Plus he could not guarantee that it would fix the problem. He suggested that we replace the unit at a cost of $9,356. We paid him $52 for the service call and told him we were going to get a second opinion. We called another company on Angie's list and they also told us the unit was old and needed to be replaced. But they did change out the boot parts for only $180 and the system worked very well for the rest of the hot season. We also got a estimate for a new system from the second company which was only $6,800 for a better system! I really appreciate having different vendors to choose from when I use Angie's list. I will not be using Air Masters in the future but I will be using the second company to replace my unit this coming season!

Our AC system quit working. We were told by the company with whom we had a maintenance agreement that it would need to be replaced and gave us a quote on a new system. We contacted Air Masters to get a second opinion and estimate on a new one. Air Masters sent a representative out within a few hours and concurred on the need for a new AC system. They gave us a quote on a good medium prices system. We ask for a quote on a "top of the line" system. They gave us a quote which was less than what was quoted by the other company. They came out the next morning and installed the complete AC/Heating system. We have been extremely pleased with it and would surely would recommend this company.

The problem is--No one trusts anybody--That's a good reason to have Angie's List as a resource. Had an air conditioning problem in a house in Frisco, TX. Was out of town and my property manager called a repair outlet and they came out and informed my manager that it would take $4500 to repair. Now I know systems in Texas work a lot harder, but this system was only 7 years old. When my manager said she would have to consult with me, the price dropped to $3000. When my manager called and gave me the story I said give me a minute. I went to my smart phone and went to Angie's List and did a search. Air Master's came up with a good recommendation. My manager called them the next day and they were out to the property in 30 minutes. They check the system out, found a problem with the blower motor and fixed the system for $120.00 The technician called me and explained the motor had been under stress and it might go and take out a circuit board. If that would happen it would cost another $1200 to repair, but that should be the extent of it. Needless to say, this was welcomed news--this is the point where you wonder if the other company misdiagnosed the problems, or there was something else going on. As much as I hate to call around and get estimates, because someone is going to be disappointed, in this instance it was a good move. The best thing about this experience I have found an honest and dependable company to work on the heating and air conditioning system. Their prompt arrival and attention sealed the deal. The lady at the office was very nice and friendly. She took my information, description of my problem, and promptly sent someone out. The technician was actually early! (thats nice) I really felt like he knew what he was talking about and he explained it to me where I could understand. We opted to do the recommended repairs and have been cool ever since! They were easy to deal with, quick, and were able to do my repairs right then and not have to come back. The price was also right in range that I believed to be fair. I will be using them again and even signed up for their maintenance plan.

They are a local company, and the work was excellent. I liked their professionalism and the way they came in and did the job. The most outstanding thing about them was the 100% positive attitude they had towards getting me going like I wanted to be. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I called 4 companies to give me estimates on replacing and upgrading my air conditioning and heating systems. I upgraded from a 3 ton to a 4 ton 16 seer system. Air Masters was the lowest price and they had been recommened by two people I work with. We arranged for them to come out in December to replace the system so I could qualify for the Texas energy rebate. They showed up on the agreeded to day and replaced the system quickly. They came back out at the start of spring (no charge) to test the air conditioning side since they couldn't do that in December (the temperature out side had to be above 70 degrees). I will be using them for the twice a year service.

Randy came out was even a little early ! He took time & checked our whole system thoroughly & told us we needed a new capacitor. He was prompt, friendly, & trustworthy. We did the repair & bought a maintenance contract he recommended !

I decided to use Air Masters because they were a Trane dealer in our area. Randy was prompt showing up to my house. We had a strange problem where the furnace would quit working. The only way to turn it back on was by switching the breaker which hadn't been tripped. My understanding is that this is not how it's supposed to work. Randy was here for an hour and a half. The problem turned out to be that the coil was dirty causing the furnace to overheat. My units were 18 years old. Randy's opinion was that the cost to patching the problem would be better spent on a new unit. I agreed but went with a different company, Metro Environmental, on the work because the evaluation and quote were very thorough. The price was also better which factored into the decision.
