Texas Master Plumber

After a MAJOR hassle with another plumber contracted through our home warranty company, TMP was sent to research our issue. They showed up on time, were professional, helpful, experienced, and personable. Our situation required a second visit from them because they wanted to use their line camera, which was elsewhere, On their return visit they again showed up in a timely manner and were just as awesome as the first time. They also saved us some serious money! - VERY important, not only because we had just purchased this house and had a lot of new bills, but because we were still getting used to paying higher bills. Saving us money was a huge boon to us, and we couldn't thank them enough. Overall, this team worked quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Their customer service is A+++!!! Would definitely use them again!

James and Heath showed up as scheduled. They are both very professional and very detailed in their diagnosis of the plumbing issues. Upstairs toilet was backing into the shower. They came with a camera and found out where the problems were, wrote a quote on the spot, suggested some re-routing to avoid tree issues and to create a proper slope as required by codes. As the problem in the home was serious, I asked how quickly they could begin and they said tomorrow. A few minutes later, they returned, and said change of plans, we can start today. This was a very pleasant surprise as I'm a new resident of the area, and with a new home purchase, I've had more repair issues by a lot than I could anticipate. All other service companies so far have not been able to schedule me as quickly and actually get the job done as this company has. There are a lot of plants and gardens in the yard. These guys worked quickly, efficiently and did so with minimal plant damage and restored the area as best as one could considering the depth of the trenches they dug to get the new sewer installed well. In spite of the heat and heavy lifting going on, these guys were wonderful. Very polite, took time to explain things to me, show me my options and go the job done. I'm a fan of Texas Master Plumbers now! Hopefully won't need them again any time soon, but if I should, I would certainly use them again.

I live in a town-home and was looking to have a water softener installed. He came out and gave me an estimate to install a Pelican Water System. On his advice I enjoyed that he took the time to educate me and help me understand about this system. I am planning to use him in the future for this service. I also really enjoyed that this company has employees who are knowledgeable in his field.

The experience with Texas Master Plumber could not have been better. While getting our foundation leveled we discovered that the previous renovation included an exterior faucet that was installed completely wrong and one of the PVC joints was not even glued together. They promptly sent out a plumber who discovered the city water cut-off was too damaged to use and provided the details on who to contact to get that resolved, telling me they would be out promptly once that was fixed. I called them the next day and was able to handle the entire repair over the phone. They are true professionals.

He cleaned up everything before he left and did a great job. He knew exactly what to do and goes above and beyond what he’s supposed to do being very thorough which is something I really appreciate. He was very prompt, professional, and courteous. It was overall a great experience and I would definitely use them again.

The serviceman from Texas Master Plumber called before he got to the house. When he arrived, he introduced himself and showed identification. He was very polite and explained what was being done throughout the process. He inspected the inner workings of the tank on the toilet. He explained that the part was filling too long and much of the water was simply running through the drain and that it should be replaced. He then inspected the cut off valve for the water coming into the toilet. He said that it did not need to be replaced but he could simply replace the washer and tighten it. He told me how much the work would cost before he started working. He completed the work, thanked me for using his company and left.

My problem with the service is that I was charged for the second trip. I did get him to only charge for 1/2 for the second day. The drain just stopped up again and because of the company charging me extra I called another company out to do a camera on the sewer line. Before the service man came out my drain unclogged, surprise. When the service man viewed the sewer line he stated that there was so much liquid in the line it was difficult to get a great view. He then did something and stated that the camera actually stopped (?) about 25 or so feet away. I questioned that and he said that from my drain out to the city clean out was only about 50 plus feet. I questiioned this as the other company had told me his line was not long enough to give a clean out because it was almost 100 feet. He stated that lines come in 50 ft and 100 ft. He then gave me a quote on replacing part of the line, still not for sure what the problem was, and actually stated that I really needed to replace the entire line at the cost of over $4000. To replace the shorter piece was at a cost of $3000. I am going to get another quote before I go forward with this, but I am totally confused as to what exactly the problem is. At this point it is going to be hard to trust the answers given to me. So the first company that came out lied to me to get more money and I don't like to be lied to and I don't believe that the work was done properly. Would not recommend.

I was surprised to see that the technicians who gave me the estimate on the work were the same people digging the ditch and installing the new gas line the next day. They did a good job of digging the trench and setting the soil to the side. The gas line was replaced, now with a lever at the house so the gas can easily be turned off. It looked great. The only problem was the inspection was delayed until the following week due to a permit issue, and this was the weekend we got the bad rain and hail storm in my area. The ditch was filled to the top with water, which had to be bailed out so the inspector could see the line. Another crew came that morning and bailed the water by hand. In the end, it was fine but my yard was a muddy mess. The main issue I had was with the installation of the vent on the roof. It was not installed properly so it leaked during the 5-hour storm. The crew that came back on Monday to bail the water also re-installed the vent. To be honest, it was a mess. I happened to have the roofer there that day to check for hail damage, so I asked him to look at the vent and give me his opinion. He said it was a poor job and would leak again. So I paid his company to re-install the vent. What a difference between the workmanship. After sending photos of both vent installs to Texas Master Plumber along with the bill, they agree to reimburse me, which I greatly appreciated. I'm not sure I would have them come back to do work. While I was happy with the effort on the new gas line, the problem with the vent and the fact that they didn't clean up after themselves when they worked on the water heater - they left large chunks of dry wall sitting on top of the water heater and junk on the floor around it - left a bad impression.

The plumber arrived on time, was very nice and thorough. I appreciated that they were able to send someone out the same day and will definitely be calling them again.

Replaced the valve for the gas dryer and hooked up air vent to outlet duct. He had to remove an old access ladder from the wall to get access to the gas piping. After that he looked for a water leak which was coming from my refrigerator.

We've had Texas Master Plumber out on another occasion when we had leaky pipes, and they did great work, so we called them out again. This time we had a leaking/corroding pipe in the attic that was causing damage to our ceiling in one of our bathrooms. They had plenty of appointment times available in the time frame that we wanted, and they came on time and got the job done very quickly. The plumbers that they send out are all very friendly and explain what the problem is and how it needs to be fixed. We have old galvanized piping in our house, so when something leaks again (and it will), we'll call this company out again.

We had used them before. This time we were just as pleased with their service as we were before. I would recommend them anytime. They’re nice and courteous people and they’re good to work with.

There was a leak on the faucet outside my house. They replaced that pipe and also a pipe inside the wall that connected to that pipe. They give a discount to Angie's List users and I received the discount. They bartered with me for the additional work of cutting into the wall and replacing the additional pipe. I traded a tool for that additional work.

Free estimate, punctual, clean, and professional.

They were quite high, so we didn't use them. They quoted around $600 for the job. It must have been a little bit more plumbing thing, but that was the basic call to come out & check. They came out when they said they would be coming. We would not call them again for the quote, mainly because of the price.

The leak was fixed as well as bricks replaced, but we have to spend additional money to have our sheetrock repaired in the laundry and kitchen area. I think the company should have offered to pay for someone to come out to take care of this as a courtesy for not pinpointing the problem the first time. I don't believe digging and fixing one pipe is a $3,495 job.

I would not hesitate to call them for any of my plumbing needs.

They were very good. They did a better job than anybody has done in the past ten years so I appreciate it. They fixed it quickly and efficiently without making a big deal.

I contacted Texas Master Plumber by e-mail, and had a phone mail by the next day. We arranged a time and they were here within the agreed upon window. They asked me what the problems were and I showed them. They phoned their home office to get the price and quickly gave it to me, after first providing a joke estimate that I personally thought was hilarious. They were done in <15 minutes. They had the tool that I didn't to remove the pit from the disposal, and the detailed knowledge of Delta fixtures to realize the reno company had forgotten to remove the factory preset scald protection from the shower fixture. No fuss, no muss. I will definitely call them again for any other plumbing issues. Two things it would have been nice to know ahead of time--they do have minimum amounts below which they will not accept either a) their discount coupon towards the bill or b) a credit card for payment. Neither was an issue, since they do accept checks for lower amounts like my $95.

Excellent experience. Knowledgeable, used the simple first approached and if that didn't work proceeded to more complex (expensive) solution.

They were good. The guy knew what he was doing, he did not waste time. He tried the least expensive methods to solve the problem first to save me money and he succeeded.

Excellent service. Complete job took about 3 hours because of the original installation of the toilet. The bathroom floor is ceramic tile and they were extremely careful not to break any tiles surrounding the area to be repaired. The area was cleaned very well following the repair. I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the work.

The service was great. They were very professional and determined the get the problem repaired. They stayed late to get the work. I have used them before and will use them again in the future.
