Texas Master Plumber

My husband and I were awaked at 6am with our daughter telling us the downstairs ceiling was leaking and there was water ever where. And the ceiling had fallen down. it was horrible. I was wading in water to may ankles. Water was coming out of the front of the home, between bricks. My husband shut the water of to the upstairs hot water heater and I proceeded to clean. He had to go to work and I was overwhelmed with what was in front of me. I work from home and simply had too many meetings to take off. At 8 am , I called this company after searching Angies list. I was promised I would be worked in, they would try and fit me in the that morning. They lived up to this and by 11am, I had a very nice professional at my door. He worked around my conference calls and immediately offered to call a restoration company to help me if I wanted. Which I did very much. By 1pm, my hot water heater was replaced and fixed, the restoration company was on site, cleaning the water up, tearing out wet sheet rock and fixing fans and humidifiers to run for the next three days. No one minded my barking ignorant dogs who didn't understand why I let someone in that was tearing up my house. For the replacement of the hotwater heater with an energy efficient model, with labor I paid 1195. I think considering the time factor this was a well worth it. And it was professional service from start to finish. The restoration company charged me 1600.00 which I also think was reasonable. I still have sheetrock to replace and painting to do, but tonight I have hot water, my house is safe, and I have piece of mind. That is worth a lot. I am very glad I called this company and am 100% certain I found my new plumber going forward for everything.

They came out twice, and then they told me that they didn't guarantee their work, and so they wouldn't come back out. They snaked it to try and unclog it. The plumber told me it was because of grease, and I don't use grease in my cooking, so it was the people who were living there before. I still had a problem, and I went to a plumbing supply, and they gave me a product to put in the drain, and I did the treatment for a few days before it unclogged. The guys who came out were very helpful. The person in the office was not helpful. I would have just appreciated the information upfront. I thought the price was a little high. They covered their shoes before they came in, they cleaned up their mess, and the actual plumbing guys were very accommodating.

They came back out to unclog the hot water. These guys are very professional, courteous and did not charge to unclog the hot water. We will call them for all of our plumbing needs. They are a good example of outstanding customer service. Other companies could use a lesson from them.

He looked at all of my hookups and turned a switch. That's all that was needed! Clearly, I'm plumbing impaired:) I asked him what I owed him for the trip and he said nothing. I figured I'd at least have to pay for a service call, but I didn't. Will definitely call him again.

Everything went fine. Professional arrived on time. Was very informative about his trade. Fixed toilet quickly, took a look at other toilet in house and gave useful advice free of charge.

Punctual and polite. However, the price quoted was outrageously high. They said they did not charge for a service call. But they wanted $198 for what would have been about a 20 minute job. I already had the replacement part under warranty from the faucet manufacturer.

GREAT!!! They honored my coupon for $25 off and the final cost was only $73. Plus they were able to send out the plumber the same day (on this very icy day). He was prompt and did the work quickly.

Setup an appointment and they came out within 2 hours to find the problem why the tub wasn't draining. Cost $238. Chris confirmed with me over the phone that the old cast iron tub and sink drain needed replaced as it was broken and blocked. He said it would be about $1700. I had a previous est. of $1475 and his estimate would come out the same after deducting a % of the first trip charge, so the additional amount of $1475 was paid in addition to the first trip charge. Chris was very co-operative and explained in detail to me over the phone about the breakdown of costs. I appreciated his honesty as the previous plumber I had wouldn't explain anything. So, Texas Master Plumber was more expensive, but earned points for good salesmanship and earning my trust.. My renter told me the 2 plumbers arrived at 10a and stayed until 10p when the job was complete. This was on a Friday, so I was impressed with their stick-to-it-ness. I am still waiting for my invoice to be emailed to me. Overall I'm happy with the service and will call them again.

It was fine. I do not remember the cost of the service. I needed to stop the leak immediately so I called whoever was available. They took care of the job and they were professional but their price was not great. Maybe I would use them again in the future.

I have used them before at my rental property as well. They are great, the price given is the price paid, no extra charges. We did have them come back as the fitting needed to be tightened. Actually we had them come out again and install a new kitchen sink. Reasonably priced and eager to please.

I requested a quote on their web site as well as via BBB web site. I got no response in over 24 hours so I called and told them I had requested a quote and was told they would contact me after the holiday but they never did.

The guy that came out was late but they called. Once here, I told him what I needed which was a gas line for my stove. He proceeded to go into my attic and never bothered to mention that I already had a line running down from my furnace into my kitchen wall. He then gives me a 1200.00 quote to run the line to the exterior of my house which is completely against code or 2000.00 to bury it from the meter. He saw a single mom in a relatively nice area and saw dollar signs. I had a cousin refer me to someone else. They came, saw the line upstairs and traced it down. He stubbed it out of my wall and I was cooking on my stove last night for less than 100.00 It's disgusting how these companies treat people.

I had purchased a new washing machine. The company that delived the washer could not install it because they could not turn off the hot water faucet for the washer. So they left the new washer and the old washer and instructed me to call a plumber to replace the faucets. When the faucets had been replaced I was to call them to come back out to install the new washing machine and haul off the old machine. When the plumbers from Texas Master Plumber arrived, we talked about replacing the two faucets and I asked it they could also replace a leaking faucet on the side of the house. They said that would not be a problem. They gave me an estimate of the work to be done and in addition installed the washer, made sure it was working properly and hauled off the old machine. (no charge) Thanks to them there was no need to have the company that delivered the washer return. I showed him a coupon that I had printed off the computer for a discount for being an Angies list customer, he made the adjustment to the cost and I wrote him a check. They really made everything so easy and they did a great job.

He came to fix one toilet originally, but when he was here I asked him to look at my garbage disposal and look at my other two toilets. Heath Ruiz was great. He came out the same day that I called, they were my third option, and after I spoke with Heather telling her I needed a plumber today she said she would call me back in a couple of minutes; which she did, telling me a ETA and who the tech was that was coming. It was late in the evening and they did not even charge me a fee. When Heath arrived he was only going to fix my toilet, but found that the toilet needed to be replaced. He was excellent, clean, articulate, wore shoe covers to protect my carpets, and even took out all of the trash. He was very professional, respectful, trustworthy, and efficient. He represented his company very well. I have now told them I only want him out here if I ever need their services again, which they will be the only plumbing company I use as long as I live in Texas.

He worked out really well, did exactly what we needed them to do, they were on time, efficient, gave us a report on the spot and it was fantastic. They were respectful of our home and did an excellent job.

Texas Master Plumber was the contractor our home warranty company assigned to my case. The plumbers they sent (Ruben and Brian) did arrive within the appointment time and they called ahead to confirm they were coming. When they arrived they determined that it would be a non-warranty job because it turned out that the ground-accessible cleanout was on the wrong side of the house to access the main sewer drain. I did authorize them to proceed to work on the clog from the roof vent. Soon after they snaked their cable down through the roof, the drain appeared to flow freely again and they wrapped up the job and left. Within a few hours of Ruben and Brian's departure, I started a shower and discovered the drain was backing up again. I called the Texas Master Plumber office and was told that (1) they didn't have a video camera available to inspect the drain further and (2) they needed to consult with the home warranty company. I never heard back from either company. Eventually, I turned to another plumbing company who actually cleared the clog and performed video inspection. To my relief, the old drain was not collapsed or blocked by tree roots. Looking back, I now believe the Texas Master Plumber guys had only popped a temporary hole in the clog, which quickly closed back up.

The Tech arrivied at the scheduled time. Inspected the garbage disposal. Determined that it had jammed with black pastic spoon parts. Explained what needed to be done. Cleared the disposal. Checked the disposal by demonstrating that it worked properly again. No more problems. Has worked fine since his visit.

The company came out on time to give me an estimate and answered all my questions. Then the next day the company was able to send a crew member with the part to get the work done.

Everything was fixed and/ or replaced in less than 30 minutes and they even installed a soap dispenser they had on truck with them to cover extra hole at kitchen sink. Could not be happier with the service we received.

These guys were great. I called on a weekend about a huge spike in my water bill that the water company said was a leak on my end. There wasn't water anywhere, but I figured I should call a plumber. These guys responded right away. It wasn't an emergency, so they scheduled an appoint for the coming week and arrived on time. They scoured my home -- from the water heater in the attic to each sink and toilet, to the perimeter of my home. Ultimately, the technicians found nothing and didn't charge me for the visit, which really surprised me. Ultimately, the water company admitted it was a leak on their end that they fixed, and that I didn't have a leak at all. I was thankful for the free diagnosis from Texas Master Plumbes, and will definitely use these guys again for any of my plumbing needs!!

The plumber did a great job, was on time and very professional. In fact, I will be calling this week to get someone to install a garbage disposal for my kitchen.. Very friendly people in the office and outside of office. I got to use my coupon and save a little on the cost.

He told me he was sending a Master Plumber to do the piping work. I later found out that the pipe that he installed was too big. When he came back, I showed him, and he corrected it, but they did not complete the job until I had asked them to. If I were to hire them again, I would be much more specific with the work that needed to be complete, and I would only have them do smaller job.

Moved into a new place and had several minor items from property inspection to get addressed: sediment trap for heater and boiler, adjusting the dishwasher line, anti-siphon and insulation for exterior faucets. Tried to email and call around to get estimates, and Texas Master Plumber was responsive to both, going over the report on the phone. Recommended skipping a couple other items identified by the inspector as superfluous, which I appreciated. Otherwise was able to schedule a plumber for next business day with free on-site estimate that corresponded to the phone estimate. Another company that responded estimated more 2x higher than Texas Master Plumber. The two guys that came took care of everything in short order and cleaned up nicely. Also honored an online coupon from their website. Good customer service, free on-site estimate, easy to contact/schedule, competitive pricing; it was all great!
