Vintage Floors

Great! Tyler came out to take measurements for the estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. He let me know the process and that there was at least one day I would have to be out of the house because of the fumes when they stain the floors. I pointed out an area where the floor was a bit uneven and he said it shouldn't be a problem but he would have his QA guy come out to be sure. He had a quote for me the next day. When I chose Vintage Floors for the job, Tyler came back out to measure again, brought the QA guy to make sure everything would be good to go, answered more of my questions, and sent me the quote the next day. Once I made the down payment, the supplies were ordered. Once in, a date was set up for the job. The job took just over 2 days - the first day to pull up the carpet, lay the hardwood, sand it, and prep it to be stained. The next day the floors were stained and the color almost matches the rest of the hardwoods in my house. The crew came back a 3rd day to install the baseboards, which took about an hour. I would definitely use this company again. When I mentioned wanting to get new flooring in my kitchen, Tyler suggested I have them come out at the first of the year to get a quote so I would know how much to budget.
My only complaint was punctuality on the first day. I was told the crew would arrive at 8am but it was close to 9. When I called to inquire as well as to let them know I had to leave for work, the QA guy came out ahead of the crew so I could leave for work. Otherwise, it was a great experience!

They are honest and very efficient. I would recommend them. My floors look beautiful now.

The whole experience was outstanding. The materials were delivered on time and the installers (Huckabay Wood Floors) arrived as scheduled. The installers moved the furnitue and removed the old carpet prior to beginning the installation. The work was estimated to take four days and was completed on this schedule. The installers were courteous, carefull and extremely thorough. Their attention to detail was nothing short of amazing. These guys are the people you want doing work in your home! When the installation was complete they applied felt to legs of the furniture before putting it back in the rooms. During the whole process they did their best to minimize the dust and disruption and when the job was finished they did a thorough clean up. The finished product is simply stunning. From begining to end I cannot think of anything that could have been done better.

The job was started and finished as promised and matches our existing wood floors perfectly. Our final bill was exactly what was estimated. Employees showed up on time, cleaned up as they went along, and made the whole process relatively painless!
