This experience has been so terrible, for many reasons, that I paid to join this site just to leave this review to warn people against using them in the future. Do not trust them with you property. In October my insurance company hired this company to come to my house following a storm to secure my house and begin the water extraction process. During the storm a large tree fell through my house and my husband and his associate immediately made the best temporary patch to many holes in the roof in the rain and hail while we waited for Servpro to arrive. They arrived quickly and started setting fans. They made no offers to help with any debris removal (tree in my house, insulation etc) so I continued to do all the cleaning. They decided they weren't ready to climb on the roof yet and the the tarp my husband had wadded in holes would be sufficient for the time being. Eventually a few days later they took some scrap wood and nailed it over the damaged tarps. A few days later it stormed again and water came POURING through the holes again. I had asked every day if they thought the job they had done to secure my roof was sufficient to hold back rain and they said it would be. They then did not go back into the attic to remove the wet insulation and a few days after they collect all their equipment my living room ceiling is now sagging and having to be fully replaced. We had to pack up and move out of our home the day after Thanksgiving because of how much more damage was done because they FAILED to secure my roof. Even though I asked several of them, several times if they thought it needed to be addressed. I finally had a roofer come by and in 20 minutes he made water tight repairs that weren't large ugly tarps and scrap wood on my roof. These guys do not know what they are doing and should not be trusted. Of course they still want full payment for a job poorly done and worse, one that caused more damage than it prevented. So the new manager tells me last week he knew they were doing a bad job when he was out here checking on things and that someone should have told me from the beginning (or maybe any of the half dozen times I asked) that they do not secure property. It would've have been very easy for me to have someone else out there to do this job but they told me, many times, they had it handled. This same manager, Mike Pryor, then tells me to take a look at the invoice and find out about the damage and that we would work out a fair solution based on that. A week later he calls again and I tell him that I'm still waiting on the ceiling to be opened. Due to bad cell service our calls drop and he then calls and leave me multiple, very rude messages saying that if I don't have them a check in their office by the end of the day that they will file a lien on my house and sue me for theft of services! I have received dozens of messages from him and now the owners son, basically trying to accuse of trying to back of paying them for the work they did. I never said I wouldn't pay, I just wanted to make sure they didn't cause more damage to my house. As of today, we know their failure to remove the water from my attic has damaged most of my living room ceiling and started mold growing along the beams of my ceiling. They went from neglectful to aggressive and abusive and I strongly advise against anyone using them for any type of service. They don't know how to do the basics of their job and if you dare call them on it they will try to bully you into paying anyways. Shameful.
Description of Work: On October 2 we experienced severe roof damage caused by a few trees falling on and through the house during a storm. My insurance company hired them to come out and clean up and dry out my house. They made a few very poor attempts with scraps to patch my roof, then it stormed again and water came pouring back through the holes in the roof. They only worried about drying the main area of damage and not the damage done by 2 other holes in another room and now the entire ceiling of that room has water damage. 2 months later my general contractor begins the extensive repair process only to find we still have moisture in our attic and worse, we have mold.
