Efficient Air and Heat

My unit stopped working, and I thought it might be a fan motor. So John answered my call on a Saturday night at 10:40 PM and was here by 11:00 PM, checked the unit and determined it was a capacitor. He did the work, checked the unit out thoroughly, cleaned up and gave me an invoice. All done within an hour of the problem, and they didn't charge an arm and a leg! I can't recommend them enough, especially John, what a nice guy.

John was professional and friendly.  He fixed the air conditioner and explained the other problems that I would probably be facing in the future.  He didn't try to sell me anything.  Just educated me.  I would call him again the next time I need anything fixed and when it comes time to get all the issues fixed, he'll certainly be one of the people I call.

Amazing!  Called on a Saturday night at 11PM, and they were out Sunday morning right on time!  John was able to troubleshoot and repair the issue in just a few minutes.  He could've left at this point, but he waiting to make sure that my comrpessor fired up.  Very friendly and professional.  Any questions I asked, he had a detailed, technical answer for.  They will be my first call from now on.

I called Efficient Air and Heat on Sunday morning when our air conditioner compressor fan motor would not come on. it was 105 degrees on Saturday so we knew we were in for a very hot day on Sunday as well. We were concerned that it might take a day at least to get someone to come out becasue July is such a busy month for A/C repairs. John answered our call right away, dropped his personal plans for the morning and got to our house in 15 minutes! He examined our A/C system, diagnosed the problem and carefully explained the problem and then got busy with the repairs. In a very short amount of time we had COLD air in the house again thanks to John, he was such a blessing! We will certainly call Efficient Air and Heat again whenever we need a great maintainence and repair company.

Came home one evening and had warm air blowing out of our a/c vents in the house and a fan on the outdoor unit that wouldn't turn.  I found Efficient on Angie's list the next morning and called for an appointment.  He replied shortly in a professional manner after we left a message and showed up at the estimated time.  He found a bloated capacitor in the outdoor unit that apparently got burned up in storms a week earlier.  He showed me a sheet in his price book to replace the component and charged no more than that.  We also talked about installing surge protectors on the two major components in the a/c system as well as cutting off power to the entire a/c unit at the breaker box during major electrical storms.
He notified us of a problem that occurs with the 8 year old system installed in our house. He took another 1/2 hour without extra charge and we went upstairs to look over the attic unit in the 130 degree heat.  He opened up the unit to show me corrosion on the condenser coils and a few days later gave me an estimate for a possible repair.
He seemed professional and knowledgeable and we would use him again.

I needed a compressor fan motor when mine quit working. John came out the same day that I called, did some temporary repairs and ordered a new motor for installation on the next day. He arrived promptly and installed the motor (it had started drizzling, but he continued until it was done). He was very polite, prompt and knowledgeable. Since then I have had him out to my house one additional time to recharge my AC system. Excellent work, highly recommended.

John arrived on very short notice on a Saturday evening (of a holiday weekend). He was professional and meticulous. I appreciated the time he took to explain what he was working on and why. He offered suggestions related to some cooling issues we were experiencing outside of the reason for the service call. He cleaned up after himself and did a final check of the outside AC unit as good measure.

Excellent company.  Will reuse again.

My experience with Efficient Air and Heat was of renewing fact that there are still companies that extend great service and consideration for their customers. On Sunday morning, while getting ready for church. The home started to smell like hot wiring and begin to fill with smoke. I shut the unit down and confirmed we didn?t have a fire in the attic. Monday morning I called Efficient Air and Heat to request a service call. The representative on the phone was very understanding to my request due to cold weather being expected soon he explained they would try to work me in during the day and gave me an approximate time frame. They gave me a phone call prior to the time and gave me an update on their schedule and then called again when they left their prior job location and let me know about how long it would be before they arrived and verified that it would still fit in with my schedule. The technician arrived and was very polite and considerate through the whole repair job. He kept me informed on his diagnosing and explained the needed repair. He also got an approval for the repair as the situation progressed. (There weren?t any heart spiting costs at the end of the repair.) He took precautions to not track repair grim on the floor by putting on shoe covers. After the repairs were done, he cleaned up the area great and left it cleaner then when he arrived. He made sure that all of the packaging trash was taken care of. The next night was rather chilly and I was really impressed when I received a phone call the next to verify that the unit was still working satisfactory and that we didn?t have any other issued that needed to be addressed. This was beyond the extra mile service. After all the technician did the operation check, repair. I am an old man on disability, and it was great to have young men to have them treat me with respect on my heating dilemma.

John, as always, quick to respond and usually has good suggestions on ways to avoid problems in the future

The job went as it always does... great! John is a treasure and I wouldn't think of using anyone else.

John had taken care of our heating and air conditioning units for several years before he started his own company. We've always found him to be very thorough and responsive.
