Description of Work: Asked for an estimate to treat the exterior of my home for ants. I was expecting a fee for my size lawn in the range of $50. I pay the lawn crew $30 a week to mow, edge, trim, and blow the clippings as a measure of comparison. The technician quoted $100 for a single treatment, 4 treatments for $200. I thought the price was out of line and thanked him for his time.

 + -1 moreTHIS IS MY SOLE EXTERMINATOR. IT'S A SHAME THAT THE 'FACADE' PUT FORTH BY THE BUSINESS (THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND WILLING TO EXPLAIN THINGS TO ME) ISN'T MATCHED BY TALENT. IT SEEMS THAT EVERY TIME AN EXTERMINATOR FROM AMERI-TECH COMES TO MY DOOR, IT IS A DIFFERENT ONE THAN THE LAST TIME AND, NOT SURPRISINGLY, WITH A DIFFERENT APPROACH. AMERI-TECH CAN NOT GET RID OF THE SPIDERS AND WEBS WHICH PLAGUE ME EACH MORNING WHEN I GO GET THE NEWSPAPER. THEY ALSO SPENT MONTHS TRYING TO GET RID OF THE ARMY OF 'CRAZY ANTS' I'VE HAD AT MY RESIDENCE. I FINALLY KILLED THEM, MYSELF, WITH AIR FRESHENER, BLEACH, AND A VACUUM WHERE THEY HAD FAILED WITH AT LEAST THREE ATTEMPTS OF DIFFERENT POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS. I'LL BE LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT EXTERMINATOR ONCE THE AGREEMENT EXPIRES.
Description of Work: THEY TAKE CARE OF THE PERIMETER OF MY HOUSE, CHECK FOR TERMITES, AND DEAL WITH THE INSIDE OF MY HOUSE WITH ME AT HOME. I HAVE THEM ON AN ANNUAL, RENEWABLE AGREEMENT AND THEY ALLOW ME TO PAY IT IN SEGMENTS.
