This is a very unreliable company. They are NOT customer friendly. They only work at their convenience. I did everything possible to use this company as I wanted to support local businesses,
Had a coupon. In addition to checking out air conditioner, he replaced air filter, fixed therostat, installed batteries in two smoke detectors and installed our new carbon monoxide detector. He spent one hour checking everything out. The bill was the coupon price. No add-ons for all of the extras he did.
Like the family owned and operated concept. Their headquarters are local . Would certainly use Willards again.
*After install I ran across a little something that wasn't done properly. In the outside unit install they ran a line through a fencing system that is around the outside of the home to add extra protection around skirting in the back. The fencing will have to be cut away in the future to actually remove it since the line was run through it.
"I am not sure about her response we have reached out several times to resolve this with out response I have verbally and emailed a apology for our mistake Willard uses straight forward prices calcutaed by a 3rd party company. The tech chose the wrong price for the repair by mistake I called mrs Simmons after I was made aware of this and apologized and refunded the service call to her even offered a maint policy for a year for Free for our mistake . What else can I do mistakes happen but I believe have you handle the mistake is a true testimate of the integrity of a company Willard is prepared do within reason to make all our customers happy 100% of the time I am sending a copy of the email I sent mrs Simmons trying to resolve this This is what I sent I don't understand the comment that you made , we reached out and apologized for our mistake offered the call for free and explained to you what had happened that the technician it made a mistake and quoted the wrong amount in his flat rate pricing guide , the tech felt so bad he offered to go and apologize in person but I didn't think that was necessary we thought you understood and accepted our apology but I guess I was wrong. you still gave us a negative comment , that hurts the integrity of my company. I want you to know myself and all of my employees at Willard Heating and Air strive every day to uphold and deliver the highest level of honesty and integrity to our customers. Again let me tell you I am very sorry that this happened and that I would like to make this right so in the future we could continue or business relationship. As a business owner yourself I'm sure you understand that's all I can do is offer my apology and hope we can work it out. I would like to meet with you in person if possible to apologize and work through this. I met the tech on his arrival and let him know of the probable capacitor problem. Sure enough, it was not working. He replaced it, did a check on other functions of the unit, and got my A/C up and cooling again.
Work done took about 20 minutes; employee was well mannered and professional; price was kind of high ( I am sort of a cheap person.....so your thoughts on this one may be different).
Will probably shop around next time; however, because current weather temps are over 100 degrees during the day.... having air conditioning is pretty much a and quot;gotta haveand quot; !!
It was not discovered until after work that the A/C was failing to cool - but was after normal working hours. I was able to call Willard Heating and A/C without an issue, scheduled for a tech to come out that evening. It took around an hour or so for a tech to show due to being on another late call in Plano.
When they did arrive they went straight to work - located and corrected the problems - stayed a few minutes to be sure everything was working properly.
The tech was very helpful, professional, and was able to answer any questions we had.
We will definitely do business with them again if we have the need.
