Description of Work: A tree fell over in my front yard, half blocking my driveway, the other half right across my neighbours front yard. 1-2-Tree came over the next day and, like a team of sneaky ninjas, dematerialized that tree in under 3 hours. All that remains is a small mound of dirt, no dirt or debris on the curb or driveway, no stump, roots etc. And I got some mulch out of it too. | |In summary, very clean and quick operation. These guys know their business.

Description of Work: We had our post oak, as well as a few of our neighbors' post oaks, trimmed back from our house and thinned out. We also had our holly tree reshaped and trimmed back from the house. | |1-2-Tree was amazing in all respects. Their price was slightly higher than our other quote, but I felt their punctuality, professionalism, and thoroughness made the price more than worth it. We would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I found myself with very short-notice to remove some shrubs prior to an appointment with a carpenter to repair a shed. After reading their great reviews on Angie's List, I called 1-2-Tree first thing Monday morning and left a message. Since it was only 7 am, they hadn't yet started their business day. Around 9am, after not hearing back, I called 2 other companies to increase my chances of getting the job done on short-notice. I left messages at all three businesses. 1-2-Tree was the only company who called back. They said they'd send Mark out to look at my job that morning. Mark arrived a very short time later, left a reasonable estimate in my mailbox, and left a message on my cell phone as to what he saw and did. Perfect! I was so relieved to have some help on this project. Particularly at the last minute. I spoke to Mark on the phone when I got home from work. Unfortunately, he couldn't get out THAT day (Monday) to do the work, and he was pretty sure he couldn't get out Tuesday either (they had a big job elsewhere), but he assured me that he would definitely do it on Wednesday morning if Tuesday evening didn't work out. Okay! I was just happy to have the help, even though it meant that my carpenter couldn't get started on schedule the next morning. Well, a few hours after Mark and I hung up, a guy from one of the other 2 companies showed up at my door unannounced! Nobody told me he was coming. He offered to do the work right there on the spot and also gave me a reasonable estimate. I struggled with the decision, since Mark and 1-2-Tree had been so good to me, but I ended up giving the work to the other company. My drive to keep my carpenter on schedule won out. I felt bad about it (still do), but I did make it clear in my initial phone message that I needed the work done right away. Nevertheless, Mark and 1-2-Tree were really standout in my dealings with them. I will definitely use them again in the future. I very much appreciated their good communication, reasonable prices, and kindness in a pinch. (I insistently offered to give Mark $25 for his time -- coming out to my house at the last minute to give an estimate, keeping me informed via the phone, his kindness, etc. But he refused my offer. I truly wish he would have taken it ... but I guess he was being nice to not take it?)
