I called Legend's Roofing and spoke with the owner, Kanish.  He was very personable and sensitive to my concerns and reluctance to have work done on our home although I knew we really needed it.  My fear was that it would be a nightmare and interfere with our happiness as an impending horrible experience was sure to happen!  
My husband doesn't have tolerance for poor work or service and has a standard of high quality.  Kanish came to our home and won my husband and I over with his professionalism and assurances that we would be happy.  He wanted us to be happy and knew he could deliver the finest finished product.  

Our insurance company determined that we were entitled to $17,000 in replacement cost to the roof due to previous storms damages.  Kanish assured us he would work with the insurance company to ensure our claim was handled properly, completely and any additional damages found would be brought to their attention.  He did all of this. 

We decided on a much more expensive metal roof to replace the current asphalt and shingle roof and were assured this would not be a problem for Legend's roofing.  The replacement went as smooth as glass.  There were no hiccups and the professionalism hard work and pride in the team came through in a beautiful roof!  It is an amazing transformation of our home!  We were so pleased with the work that Kanish and Legend's Roofing did that we asked them to have our home painted, under their supervision. It too, was an outstanding, perfect job!  
Because we are so happy Kanish and Legend's Roofing, we are now planning an internal remodel of this home.  Kanish has the resources and experience to make things happen in a way we didn't think possible.  Instead of being frightened at the prospects of entering into the remodel we are able to relax and enjoy the process in knowing that it is all going to be OK.  We can't say enough about our positive experience with Kanish and Lengend's roofing.

Kanish and his team were able to begin roof repairs within 3 days and I had a new roof by Saturday afternoon and no money was required before materials were delivered and work was started.  Attention to details and professionalism allowed Kanish to get insurance approval and paid repairs for all hail damages.

The insurance initially provided estimate for repairs of 3 things; Roof, Gutters/Down Spouts and Combing out AC grating.

In addition to these items Kanish was able to identify and get the following things repaired also; Window screens repaired, Fence power washing and re-staining, replace broken swimming pool valve and cleaning of pool, garage door replaced, and also 100 LF of gutters that were missed in the measurements by the insurance company adjuster. He also got the top to my "Big Green Egg" that was damaged by the hail to be replaced by the insurance.

Integrity, honesty and attention to detail is what convinced me to go with Legends Roofing. They submitted a letter to HOA for approval of roofing color and provided me a copy of liability insurance for my records to keep with the claim.

Kanish has even gone out of the way to do some minor repairs I needed done to the exterior at no extra cost to me as I will be selling my house soon and am unable to get up on the roof myself. He fixed my fence gates that were difficult to open, replaced and painted fireplace trim to match existing, and also replaced some bad window trim and matched the pant to my existing siding and trim. The crew was excellent and not only protected my property from overspray they also protected my neighbors vehicles.  They covered everything so no paint or trash went where it didn't belong.

From the moment Kanish took a look at my roof and my fence--he found hail damage that had been overlooked by my insurance adjuster. He worked with my insurance company to have additional work covered on the roof, but more importantly because he discovered hail damage on my fence the insurance also covered getting it repainted.  Without Kanish's expertise and insistence -- I might not have gotten the extra work done.

Kanish Ali is not only experienced at roofing but he is also very professional. That professionalism extends to the foreman who made sure to introduce himself to me and my partner. The crew that did the work never stopped until the job was finished.  Everyone was polite, hard working, and made me very glad I had chosen Legends Roofing.

After a storm, there are far too many roofer's who make big promises but do not deliver.  Luckily I started my search on Angie's List and found the best of the roofers in this area.  If I have one complaint it would be that Kanish is very quiet and reserved.  Perhaps in time he'll become more outgoing.

They were awesome! They came out and inspected my roof after the hail storm a few weeks ago. I called and they came out within 2 days! I didn't end up having enough damage to need a new roof but they gave me a full evaluation of my roof and gutters and didn't charge me at all! I will FOR SURE use them again in the future if I need roofing services. And the way this Spring has started out...I wouldn't be surprised if it's this year:(

These guys are great.  They showed up on time and performed the job quickly and professionally.  In fact, they were done in less than 2 hours!  The best part is that it rained the next day and the gutters performed flawlessly!  I would recommend Legends to anyone.

We found Legends by using the reviews on Angie's list and couldn't be more pleased with all of their work on our house.  We needed a company that was willing to work with us, listen to us and be able to transform our ideas for a new roof over our sunroom into reality.  Kanish and his team were the ones to do it.  We had approached several other roofing contractors and once they realized the job involved more than just a simple shingle replacement, most were not even willing to talk with us.  I also should mention that we have been remodeling our house for the last 2 years and most of it has been done by us, so what we needed was a company to frame out this new roof section and be willing to let us do the finish out ourselves.  Kanish was very willing to work with us in this manner and I don't think there are many companies that will do that.
From our very first meeting we felt confident that Kanish knew what he was talking about and he listened to us.  He took his time meeting with us and once he understood the scope of the job was very quick in getting his framer out to our job to scope out the demo and re-framing job and determine if what we wanted was possible.  What was amazing to us was that without any plans on paper, the framer was able to conceptualize what the job would involve and estimate what it would take to demo and re-frame an entire section of our house.
Our initial estimate from Kanish was very reasonable and the level of detail in the estimate was impressive.  We made just a few adjustments as our job involved a lot more than just the standard shingle replacement, and we were on our way to having a beautiful, quality new roof.
The demolition and reframing of the new sunroom roof took about 2 1/2 days and the entire job was finished in 3 days.  The framing and roofing teams worked very well together and the clean-up after the job was complete was excellent.  Kanish also filed the completed paperwork with our insurance company as we did have a partial claim related to the sunroom roof and that helped us offset part of the cost of this project.
I can recommend Legends Roofing without hesitation.  Kanish and his team are great to work with, they listen to you and are also very honest in telling you what will or won't work with your particular job.

A tree limb fell on our roof creating 2 large holes.  Legends Roofing came highly recommended by a friend and Angie's List member so I reached out and they responded immediately even though I contacted them at 5pm on a Friday!!    I didn't even ask for same day service because an ice storm was hitting the metroplex and I never imagined they would be able or willing to come last minute in a storm.   But they did.   By the time I arrived at the house, Legends Owner Kanish and a trainee/assistant were already on the roof and repairing the holes while ice and wind swirled around them.   These guys are amazing and very dedicated to their clientele.
While making the repairs they noticed the roof had hail damage that they felt could result in a total loss and advised me to contact my insurance carrier for an inspection.   They also offered to hold billings for the repair work they had done till the claim had been processed and to meet the adjuster and help us with the claims process.  All with no guarantee of being paid.   Amazing!   They were so patient with all our questions and really helped us to better understand the process.
Kanish was on time and present at our initial meeting with the insurance adjustor but the adjustor was not.  He cancelled last minute (like within minutes of our scheduled time) but Kanish was great and pleasantly agreed to reschedule for another day and without any cost incurred.   At the 2nd mtg, my husband and Kanish met with the adjustor who at first could not find the damage but again Kanish was great.  My husband said he patiently and respectfully pointed out the damage and the adjustor changed his mind and agreed there was indeed damage and the roof should be replaced.    We are so glad Kanish offered to be present when the adjustor inspected the roof, without his valuable help we don't think the adjustor would have agreed to replace the roof.
Once the work was approved with Insurance, Legends was quick to respond.   The work was totally completed in 1 day!!   (It took me longer to pick out the shingles!!)  And while doing the work Kanish's team noticed one of our window screens was damaged and without being asked they took it to one of their contacts and had it fixed for free!  They even re-hung it!!   They also left the property clean and tidy and provided some minor repairs to a leaky deck roof.
Their amazing attention to service extended to billings as well.   The cost to make the emergency repairs during the ice storm were less than what insurance paid so they gave us the option of applying the difference to upgrade our shingles.   Which we did, all with minimal out of pocket cost to us.   Upon completion of everything, work thru billing, we received a very nice thank you card and a Starbucks Gift Card for our morning coffee.   More companies should be so honest and attentive to their client's needs.  And Kanish is a jewel!   His patience and good nature took all the stress out of the experience and had us smiling or laughing through it all.   Completing the project with a nice thank you and gift card was a perfect example of Legends "old school" approach to customer service.    They really appreciate their clients and go out of their way to be helpful, honest and then some.   It's nice to know customer service is still a priority, like it is with Legends Roofing.   I would highly recommend Legends Roofing & Kanish for any roofing needs you have.  Truly wonderful owner and company that we would most definitely use again.

I had a leak around my chimney.  Legends Roofing was recommended to me by a co worker whose son had used them for a
repair. I looked them up on Angie's List and was glad to see all the good reviews.
I called on a Monday morning and they sent someone out to meet me at noon. I was shocked. Talk about service. Aaron was very professional and, at my request, gave me an estimate to repair the roof, to replace the roof for just the main house, and to replace the roof for the entire house (garage and breezeway included). He said that minor repairs he can do, but if the repair job requires replacing decking, they send out a crew.
I decided to go with replacing the roof and Aaron, at my request, gave me the cost for class iv impact resistant shingles, sent me images of the air vents they install, and ran the numbers to determine if he could give me ice and water barrier in all valleys and perimeters at the same price. He could. He was excellent. I got a quote from another company that came in under his, but did not include synthetic underlayment (they said it would be more money), did not include any new stacks (they would repaint the old), and included zero ventilation (my roof has nothing but gable vents and Legends would add 4 new vents), and would take three days. Legend's roofing had all that the other offer did not and they could do it in one day (this included replacing ALL decking).
While dealing with a gas line issue on my 50 year old house and meeting other homeowners along LBJ dealing with similar infrastructure issues (the LBJ development is impacting the homes), I realized I had to do the repair, not the replacement of the roof. I got an estimate on repair from another company and decided to go with them because it was less, had twice as long a guarantee, and involved additional protections to make sure the water would not penetrate again around the chimney.
When the time comes to replace the roof, I will definitely give Legends a call.

It went well.  I was very impressed with Kanish and his management crew of Aaron and Diogo - easy to work with and good guys.

Nice, trustworthy, and professional. The inspector we hired before we bought our house stated that we needed to get some shingles repaired, and after getting a few quotes, I went with Legends. Kanish and Diogo were very nice and thorough, and they took pictures of the areas that needed repair so I could get a sense of the damage and the work that would be done. They explained everything they would be doing, and provided a detailed quote. Part of the reason I picked them was they really seemed to care about doing the work right and staying on site to supervise. Once I selected them, they scheduled the work quickly, and finished it in a few hours?calling me to let me know it was done. I also needed some framing work done to address a dip in the roof. Legends brought out Ishmael, a framer they work with, and he quickly identified the issue. Like Kanish and Diogo, Ishmael explained the work that would be done and how it would address the issues in the roof, and I felt confident in his abilities. I am hiring Legends for that work as well. Overall, they are very responsive and happy to explain their plans, quick to schedule and finish work, and very fair on pricing. I was pretty anxious about the amount of work that the house needed (in other areas) and they very nicely listened to me and provided helpful suggestions?just all around good guys.

The total job with the den ended up being much more complicated than expected; however, Legends did a tremendous job coordinating all the different contractors involved and getting the job done.  Some contractors I have dealt with in the past just disappear when the job gets more involved; however Legends are very professional and I will recommend them to any friends or family members.

I called Kanish at Legends Roofing about leaks coming from our ceiling.  He spent time with me on the phone explaining the details of the process of fixing leaks.  His crew lead by Diogo came out the next day and added new flashing, caulked and sealed areas on our roof and examined the attic for other possible leaks. Diogo was friendly, responsive, and thorough.  They also installed gutter guards on our gutters near areas where the trees drop leaves throughout the year.

I found Legend's Roofing here in Angie's List, and read their great reviews, so I called Kanish out to give me a quote.  He was very professional and helpful in giving me an accurate quote for all the repair work required.  His quote was best one I received so we had him and his crew come out and do everything.  He even checked out our skylight and re-sealed it for us.  I paid a little extra for the high-impact resistant shingles so I could get a break on my insurance, and Kanish showed us all the samples and explained in great detail which ones should qualify and why.
I would definitely recommend Legend's Roofing for any roof work you may require.

Start off quoting just fixing leak in roof but found that the skylight was old, rusting and brittle. End up replacing Skylight. Even though I was out of town, he kept me informed on the progress by send pictures of what was found.
