Colby's Construction, Landscaping & Pools

This is the most unprofessional contractor I have ever hired.  Everything he did was wrong and is now going to cost me even more money to repair.  First of all I have discovered that he is not a licensed contractor nor is he bonded and insured as he has claimed on his website.  He never showed up on time.  This job was only supposed to take 3 - 5 days to complete; I fired him at the beginning of the 4th week and he was nowhere near complete.  He accomplished none of the tasks for which he was hired.  He removed much of the tile but rather than grinding down the remaining tile and motar he tried to apply a thin layer of cement of the top as a skim coat and then his crew proceeded to walk over it while it was still wet.  It didn't matter anyway because the coating was not properly applied and leveled out and began to chip off as soon as it was dried.   

The irrigation system relocation was done wrong and almost covered with concrete before I caught it.  The concrete was poured wrong even after he had to rebuild the forms twice.  I was lucky to have stopped him before he applied the finish coating because it would never have lasted.  Four weeks into he job and he still had not even started my fountain.  Long story short; this is not a professional!
DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!

It's been exhausting. He has not done anything properly.
