My refrigerator stopped cooling and freezing so I called Roy's Appliance and Repairs. Roy literally came over to the house less than 15 minutes after I called him. I had never hired him before. He was able to diagnose the problem, and replace the part that caused the refrigerator to freeze up. He quickly took everything apart, defrosted everything, replaced the part, and put everything back together. He also did work on the ice maker component that had not worked for years, even though that was not the initial reason for the service call. He was very polite and knowledgeable, and took his time getting the job completed correctly. He had all the tools and parts necessary with him to complete the job without having to run to the store to purchase anything. He was in and out in less than 2 hours. The refrigerator is cooling and freezing correctly, once again. Parts and labor for fixing the cooling/ freezing issue and the ice maker was VERY reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him again if I have any other refrigerator issues.

Roy was able to repair the problem within an hour. Price was very reasonable for labor and parts. Gave him a B on punctuality because he said he'd call at a certain time and I had to call him. He was on his way. So overall a very good experience.

He is highly experienced on what he does and he doesn’t charge a lot. I highly recommend this guy!

Roy and his helper Joe were the best! I needed new rollers and since the dryer is 18 years old (!), he put on a new belt as well, and cleaned all of the accumulated lint in areas where I couldn't clean. This was the first time the dryer needed to be repaired. When I called to schedule, I spoke directly with him. He was able to come out the same day. You may ask why I repaired an 18 year old dryer. Well, my experience with the quality of new appliances has been terrible, so if I can get an old one fixed, that's the way I go. I felt his price was reasonable. Parts were $75, labor $95 + tax.

Recommended to replace refrigerator because of the cost to repair it and the age of the appliance. He did look at and fixed our washing machine.

I called Roy at 7:30 am. He responded just after 8. I told him I was leaving town at about 11 am. He came and diagnosed my problem, went and got the part and got my washer fixed before I left town. The part cost $119, and he charged me about $220 for the part and the service.

I am completely 100% pleased and satisfied. I will definitely use again for all my appliances and recommend to all my family and friends. His knowledge, professionalism, and detail explanation of the problem and how to solve it is exactly what we customers want to find in a service provider! Roy is a tradesman I want to recommend and brag able.

It went perfectly. Turned out some little fan deep into the refrigerator had stopped running. And, he was able to locate a replacement part for a very old refrigerator. He left to get it, came back, installed the fan, put the refrigerator back together.

Excellent! Problem solved in minutes. He even showed me how to fix the problem should it happen again. Great service and excellent customer service. I won't call anyone else for appliance issues in the future.

Roy was punctual. He called me before coming. He was very polite & very professional. He also explained the trouble as he was repairing the washer. He gave it a complete check-up & said the machine was still in very good shape. It is 11 years old. He charged a total of $90.00 for the part, labor & the service call. That was very reasonable. All in all, the entire procedure took about 45 minutes. The machine was good to go!!

Great service! I spoke with Roy directly at approx. 3:45 pm (at the end of my school day) and let him know I had an unresponsive dishwasher. He indicated he was busy but would try to make it out that same day, but if not Friday or Saturday, depending on both our schedules. I was about to enter a meeting at 6:00 pm when he called and asked if someone would be home so he could take a look at the dishwasher. My wife was home - great! My wife texted me when he arrived, and by the time I got home a few minutes after 7:00 pm he was finished and just waiting for me so he could go over the repair. He indicated that the water pump valve had been replaced (it was, a few years ago) and that it had not been set properly, leading to vibrations which caused the wiring connection to become loose. He fixed it, and additionally taped off some live wires I didn't know we still had from when another repairman had removed our trash disposal. He was courteous, kind, knowledgable and charged a very reasonable $60 for his time and expertise. I will definitely call him again for any appliance related needs.

He found the problems immediately. Fixed the dryer. Called for parts for the washer , and went to get them. He came back and finished the job.

Our washer stopped agitating and spinning. I called Roy on Friday, October 2. He said that he would try to arrive that afternoon, but he had work and personal obligations. If he did not make it Friday afternoon, he would come to our house on Saturday.
Late afternoon on Friday, Roy called and explained that he was unable to arrive that afternoon. He said that he would see us on Saturday.
Saturday, Roy called early and came to our house. He dismantled the washer and identified the problem. He said that it would cost between $250.00 and $300.00 to repair the machine. I decided to purchase a new washer. Roy cleaned up his work area and put the washer bask together. He charged $50.00 for the service call. I thought it was a fair price, especially since it was the weekend.
 Roy was punctual, friendly, and efficient. I will use him in the future.

It went great, once I got the right phone number from Angie's List Customer Service. I called the phone number on the website at 10:00 AM and left a message. When I did not get a return call by 5:00 PM I called again but got a recording the number was not in service. I then called Angie's List Customer Service and was given the proper number. (956-221-3555)
I called and spoke to Roy at 5:15PM. Initially he said he could be out the following day however once he determined my location he advised he was on another call a few miles away and could come that evening. He said he would call once he completed the service call he was on. I received a return call from Roy by 6:40PM. He came right away and immediately got to work on the washer. Our complaint was that water was dripping into the tub when the washer was turned off. He advised a new water control valve was needed. He was very efficient and professional.
The total bill was $102 including parts, labor and service call which I believe is very fair. By 7:10PM he had been paid and left. It was less than two hours from my initial contact to completion. 
I could not ask for better service. He was responsive, professional, friendly and priced fairly. I would highly recommend Roy's Appliances and Repair and will use him in the future, if needed.
