ALLOYD GARAGE DOOR AND OPENER

At about 10:00 a.m., overhead door jambed coming down breaking off the connecting arm to the opener, tearing out the bolts into the door, bending the center of the door and making the door inoperable. Called Alloyd and they arrived the same afternoon within in agreed upon time frame and totally repaired the door when I thought it might have to be replaced and did not have to park my car outside that night.

My experience with this company was excellent.

I was very satisfied with the quality of the product and work performed. I had an internet coupon for a $40 rebate, but this "real life" absent-minded professor forgot to give the coupon to the installer when submitting my credit card. When I later contacted the company, instead of being told, "Sorry the card has already been processed," I was allowed to mail in the coupon, and then I received a check for $40. Since the company was not obligated to do that, I was very impressed!

I was busy when the young man arrived, I showed him the problems, he quoted the price immediately for one or both springs, by the time I finished what I was doing he was just wrapping up the job, I was 100% satisfied all around.

He repaired the garage chain in 15 minutes.

I did that above. He came quickly and saw what was required and did the job and left. Great.

A good experience for several reasons:1. They answered my call and I spoke with a decision maker right away2. They were able to get to my house within 2 hours3. They didn't sell my more than I needed: It turns out the wires were bad and a resplicing was all that was necessary. Alloyd didn't install and sell me new sensors.4. I mentioned the possibility of a garage door tune up if it appeared necessary. After an inspection of my system, it was determined that my garage door was in good condition and a tune up wasn't necessary - again they didn't charge me for something I didn't need.5. $75 is their minimum for a service and that's all I paid. True, that's high margin business, but they fixed my problem and showed a lot of integrity in the process and I'm grateful for that.

Called him on Sunday to leave a voicemail and he returned my call early Monday morning. He was out just a few hours later and was so nice. He fixed my garage door and the price was so reasonable. I will use him from now on when I need a garage door repaired at my rent house in Red Oak or my home in Red Oak, and when I build my extra garage in the next year, I will be calling him to install the door and opener. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a door fixed or one installed. His prices are very affordable. Thanks Angies List for another great recommendation.

I called Alloyd at 3:50 p.m. and he was at my house by 4:30, replaced the broken part and was gone by 5:00. I was very impressed with his professionalism. The price he charged was very reasonable. Unlike several Angie's List participants I have run into, Alloyd honored their on-line coupon as well. I cannot recommend this company more highly. If you have any problems with your garage door or opener, this is the company to call.

This is the 3rd time I've used him. When I first bought my home 10 years ago, I used a couple of other garage door companies. The other guys were useless. When I found Wade, I knew I found my garage door guy forever. He is prompt (either same day or next), quick service and extremely reasonable. Wade goes above and beyond and really cares about his customers. I called him after hours at 8:00 p.m. and left a vm message regarding my main spring on my garage door had busted in half along with the tension wires released and hanging loosley. He called back early the next morning, showed up within the hour and repaired my door. WONDERFUL PERSON, SERVICE and PRICE!!!!

The major beam that supports the garage door broke on New Years Eve. I called Alloyd on Janary 3rd in the morning and they were at my home in Cedar Hill in less than an hour. Just looking at the broken garage door we were expecting to be out of hundreds of dollars, and were relieved to be quoted an initial price of $100. The honesty, professionalism, responsiveness and reasonable pricing definitely makes this service provider a "Must-keep" in the rolodex!

Called Mr. Lloyd this morning around 9:30. Matt arrived around 11 and was finished by 12:30. Quick, knowledgeable, friendly. Honored the Angies List coupon with no problem. Excellent service with absolutely no issues. Matt explained the warrantly on parts and service and made sure it was stated on the bill.

From the first telephone contact to completion of job, it went very well.

Wade came out as scheduled to give me an estimate for a new garage door and garage door opener. However, upon looking at it, he said I didn't need one and he could fix it. He did, but that door opener gave me problems again later that day. I called and left a message that the door opener wasn't working. He came back the next day, at no additional charge, fixed it and it's been working great ever since. He didn't try to get me to buy a new system or a new door. He was a pleasure to work with!

They did great work. I've used them before and I keep using them because they consistently do great work.

On Thursday, 14 April, I called the Alloyd Garage Door & Opener Company of Duncanville, Texas and spoke with the general manager / owner Wade Lloyd about replacing my 25 year old double garage door. He said he would drive to my place, about 10 miles distance the next morning to inspect the work site and discuss germane matters with me; he arrived punctually and we made a deal. He then said he would send his expert installer Matt to carry out the necessary remove & replace work that very same day afternoon. During the noon hour, Matt arrived and accomplished the necessary tasks expertly and very professionally. Both Wade and Matt were highly personable, anxious to please, and extremely knowledgeable of relevant garage door matters. In this day and age of sloth and mediocrity, it is so very refreshing to encounter a service company that is outstanding in every respect, that treats the customer right, that practices upright fair dealing! If you need your garage door replaced with a high quality door at a fair price, look no further -- hire this company! You'll be delighted you did!

Called Alloyd this morning about 9am. Phone answered promptly. Wade said he was on the way to a job in Highland Park and would come from there, but no later than 1pm. He arrived at 12:40pm. In addition to correcting the problem (turned out to be the electric eye which prevents the door from closing on an obstacle had gotten bent out of position) in about 30 seconds, he installed an external lift handle for me to make it easier to open and close the door in the manual mode. All done in about 10 minutes. I could not be more pleased. 3/3/15: Called the day before and they managed to work me in. I dropped and broke the remote opener. I travel in my work so finding a day at home and they could come the next day was miraculous. Took them about 10 minutes to do it all--lubricate the doors and program the remote. Came at the time they said they would be here (actually about 10 minutes early). I cannot recommend them too highly.

one of the wheels came off my garage door. I called this company and they arrived within 30 minutes and had it fixed in less than that. Since we were able to locate my wheel, the technician didn't charge me for a new one and even sprayed my hinges before he left. I little thing, but it saved me the effort and I appreciated the extra service. I would reccommend this company

My garage door sprocket & gear assembly broke on Sat Feb 5th. The O'Brien door company was out of stock for the part due to the ice storm and they did not get parts in. On Monday I found Alloyd on google and called him. Wade had the part on his truck. He drove to my place of business in DeSoto and sold me the part. I replaced the part that evening, but the garage door would not travel correctly. After several attempts to adjust limits and torque settings I gave up. Tuesday morning I left a message on Wade phone. He called me back at 8AM. I told him my problem and asked for his help. He agreed to come out that afternoon. It took a little time but he was able to diagnose the problem and fix it that afternoon. Excellent service response.

I was amazed at what one man can do who knows what he's doing. He disassembled the old garage door, assembled and hung the new one (with re-enforcement of the bars and supports) and was done in less than two hours. Cleaned up completely all the work area, and left the door in good working order. Needless to say, we do not anticipate needing these services anytime again soon, BUT we recommend him and know there's an excellent worker available.

This guy knows what he is doing. Wade was able to get the door back on the tracks and repair the damage I caused within about 15 minutes. He lubricated all of the moving parts as well. Job well done!

Got the job done in record time. Was on the phone telling me all the details I needed to know. The renter called and reported that the work was done and she was very satisfied. Best of all I did not have to make the 100 mile reound trip to get this taken care of.

He arrived when he said he would and quickly got to work. He didn't try to sell me additional services. He told me upfront what it would cost and that is what he charged me. He was friendly and courteous.

I noticed that a spring was broken on the garage door when I tried to open it about 1:30 PM. I checked Angie's list then called Alloyd and spoke to Wade, the owner. He told me he was on a job in another town, but he'd try to get to me that afternoon, or at least the next morning. About a half hour later he called and said that he would be at my home in about ten minutes, and he was right on time. I showed him the problem and he wasted no time in getting the parts out of his truck and starting the job. I had both springs replaced, and he was done in less than an hour. He didn't try to sell me parts I didn't need, completed the job in a timely and professional manner, and was very polite and friendly. I'll definitely call Alloyd again, if the need arises.
