This has been a horrible experience. Beware: $828 to top of refrigerant, it would be "expensive" he said but did not give me a price. My fault for not asking in advance, I guess. Last time they will enter my house. Ever. Upsell experience at the tail end was horrible too. And charging me $360 more for "Star Member" that I did not authorize. UPDATE: 24 hours later, now my upstairs A/C unit no longer works. What did this technician do to my system? He walks in to my home and 24 hours later I’m out over $1,000 and my A/C doesn’t work anymore. You have been warned.

Very impressed with this company and Frank, the technician that came to my house. The family owned company I had been using was bought out by a large corp and I felt like their performance wasn't up to my standard, and I had a gut feeling about information I was given after two different technicians who had come to perform maintenance and follow up with issue I had noticed. They gave me estimate for new HVAC System. So I wanted to get a couple more estimates and opinions about my current system. I had been thinking about looking for another company for a while. I am so glad I called Texas Air zone, they were first on my list of companies I had researched. No need to call any of the other companies. I feel like I have found an honest company and Frank the technician took the time needed to look at my current system and my concerns. My gut feeling was right. I have an older system and thought It needed to be replaced now. Frank looked things over and I became very educated about my system and what I may need in future. I feel so reassured and at ease now. Brenda who answered the phone was so nice and courteous, my call was answered immediately, so my first impression when calling the company was very good. Frank found that I was a little low on freon so he added what was needed, and we decided my unit does not need to be replaced right now. I realize it being older anything could go wrong at any time, but I feel more confident about the condition it is at this moment. It is working and cooling and in the near future when I do need to replace it, I feel Texas Air Zone will be a very good company to do the job and will do me right and fair.

They come out every six months to service our heating and air condtioner.

Texas Air Zone is a phenomenal company with a phenomenal leader, Chris. I have been using them for 8 years. I have referred over 20 friends to them and everyone has had a stellar experience over the years. I had a recent issue and was not satisfied with the service I got. I called them up to let them know on a Saturday late evening. Chris the owner promptly returned my call on Sunday morning and assured me he would take care of things. And he went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care off. Thank you so much Chris and wish your team the best in your expansion efforts to other parts of Texas.

I used Texas Air Zone through one of their plans for my townhome for a year. Service was okay but the prices were insanity. I had somebody come over who said I had a leak and quoted me more than $2,600 to fix it, which was about the cost of replacing that particular unit. I shopped the quote with a number of other repair people who said they could do it for no more than about $1,400. So while they are courteous and competent, if you want to avoid getting ripped off, I'd use somebody else. They also put no notes on the cause of the leak and seemed mad when I asked for notes about it at a later date, and said, "If you had used us to repair it we'd have those notes". So the level of service you get also seems to be aimed at whether you're okay paying almost double for the repair through them.

They were very polite, timely and good in follow up. They fairly explained what needs to be done.

Called the after hours number at 4:05am. Return phone call by 4:25. Jeff was at my house by 5:35. AC was fixed by 6:15. No hassle, no up-sell, just great service. For about $325, including the after hours service fee, we were able to get our AC back in only a couple of hours. I highly recommend their service and will use them again if the need arises.

Texas AirZone are true professionals. They honor their time commitments, are honest about the repairs you need and what can wait, offer a tremendous value and are just nice people. I called on a July day that was supposed to reach 98 and they managed to fit me into the schedule with no emergency add-on fee. Issac was methodical about checking my 2 units and diagnosed the problem immediately - capacitor died in 1 unit. He was able to quickly make the repair for me and get my system operational. Total cost was $282. I asked if I should have the other unit's capacitor replaced at the same time and he told me to hold off until it dies. No sense in spending money when it is still working just fine. How honest is that? Travis, Issac and the Texas Air Zone team -- you have a customer for life!

Texas Air Zone was prompt, courteous, and seemed to know what they were doing. They asked about our preferences, inspected the old units, electrical system, etc. They followed up with a written proposal with several options the next day. We would not have gone wrong, but we went with a different good choice.

It went great.

We had three companies quote a full replacement of our HVAC system, including all new flex ducting, returns and grills. Isaac from Texas Air Zone came on site and spent a significant amount of time doing an analysis of our current system and first determined the heat load requirements of the home. A few days later he delivered multiple options and each of the proposed options were incredibly detailed and the proposals were very specific regarding the scope of work. Texas Air Zone was not the low bidder, but I felt that pricing was reasonable. The installation crew was outstanding and was led by Armando. They spent a good amount of time thinking through how the system would be installed in the attic. I was pretty stunned by the finished product, how neat and clean the install was, how easy the system will be to service and how much additional space was freed up for storage. Note that prior to the installation, I had a single system in my attic and we replaced it a split system (a 4-ton and a 3-ton) - and we still had tons of room freed up in the attic. The quality of the installation with Texas Air Zone was a pretty big departure from the company that had installed the previous system. The company that installed the previous system didn't install it to the correct specifications, and on top of that it simply looked sloppy. I can't say enough positive things about the Texas Air Zone install crew. A final note - each time something minor came up such as needing a slightly larger return vent, or adding a new supply location, they just did what needed to be done and did not add anything additional to the price we had agreed upon. They completely exceeded our expectations.

Called on a Sunday morning, 7 a.m., received a return call at 7:15. They were at our house by 8:15. They had the problem diagnosed and repaired by 9:15. Really happy with this company

The first guy did the inspection and fixed some water drain issue. did not fix the problem. Called again and the next guy zeroed in on the issue and fixed it in no time.

Called 24/7 call routing number. Response in less than 10 minutes. Serviceman called again after completing his current assignment. Arrived within 30 minutes. Quickly diagnosed and replaced defective capacitor. Cost below included after hours service fee.

The technician, Mike, was right on time, inspected the unit in a timely manner, and provided me the results of his inspection. He also offered a few suggestions that I could do to help keep the unit working properly. I scheduled another service visit for the beginning of the winter season to service the heater. I am very pleased with the technician and this company.

Bret came out on time and checked out the furnace (1 of 2) that was not working. I had already checked the thermostat and put in new batteries, and checked the circuit breaker. Bret found out that the circuit board was burnt and was not grounded. Luckily the small fire did not spread. Bret got a replacement board the same day a couple hours later and put it all together (including making sure it was grounded). He was helpful in answering my questions about maintaining the furnace and steps to take once it gets warmer to make sure the AC is in good condition. I think I'll be using them again. Their receptionist answering phones is the nicest lady also.

a pleasant experience

Mike and Avis (sp?) came out to do our A/C service and check out a problem with our thermostat. They were able to come out same day, on time, explained everything, cleaned everything up afterward, and were both polite and helpful. We would definitely have them back out.

Each time Texas Air Zone has come out to my house they have been very professional and thorough in their work. I have always been happy with the information they give me on the status of my system, and anything that may need to be done now or down the line. My system is nearing 20 years old and is still running strong. When it no longer does, I will call this company first to look into replacing what I have. I trust that Greg will give me the best options for my home.

We have used this company ever since they installed a new A/C and heating unit 3 years ago, and since then have always been totally impressed. We would never use anyone else for so many reasons.
