Southern Painting has provided the Allen, Plano, McKinney and surrounding North Dallas areas with high-quality interior and exterior painting services for residential and commercial properties since 1989. Mario and his crew showed up punctually and got right to work. First step was confirming the entire work order and checking all the details and repairs that would be included. The house hadn't been repainted since it was new and there were some cracks that needed to be fixed first. There were also 3 bathrooms that were having the wallpaper stripped, and the walls textured. Mario also got some paint samples to put on the wall so I could really see the colors to make final choices.
They started by moving the furniture to the center of the rooms and covering floors and everything with plastic. They they masked off windows and door hardware. Switches and the like were removed. They the painting began! They were great and worked with us to stagger the rooms so the guest room was finished before starting the master, so we had someplace to sleep :-)
When the interior was done, they tackled the outside. They took care of several places where rotted trim pieces needed to be replaced, power washed it all and scraped where needed. They also coordinated with the gutter company to match trim and gutter colors as well as removal and replacement of the gutters.
Our little dog was happy to greet them every day, and they liked her too! All the men were very polite and friendly, and very hard working. A great crew. And now our house looks like new again!

At our residence, they removed popcorn ceilings, patched sheet rock and painted all walls, closets, and trim on most of our main floor. They showed up every day, worked hard -- including weekends. We went out of town a couple of the days for the christmas holiday. they worked every day we were gone, and they even worked Christmas Eve to finish up. When we returned, all evidence of painters - plastic, dust, ladders and debris -- were gone. The leftover paint was stacked neatly in our garage. Brandon and Cory stayed in touch on site and via phone/email throughout the process and followed up in person after completion. Most importantly, when there were a few items that needed to be touched up and one particularly challenging area (a VERY tall stairwell) that needed rework, and they returned immediately to take care of them. The painting crew, led by Felipe, was friendly, hardworking, and professional. Just, a great attitude, and easy to talk to.
The house looks fantastic. There's no way my husband and I could have done that massive job as we've been saying we would for years.
