On June 1, 2015, I made the unfortunate mistake of bringing my lawn mower to Sears for repair. Don't know why I didn't check out Angie's List or Yelp first. I went on-line to the Sears site which helpfully told me that the nearest location would be Southwest Center Mall. The price was to be $99 for all mower repairs. I thought that seemed reasonable - and Sears is a big, reputable company. So, I made an on-line appointment, and asked a friend to haul my mower to Sears. When we got there, we learned that they don't do the repairs on site, that they send them out once a week - and that we had just missed the truck. Discouraging - but, I figured my mower would be sent out the following Monday, would be repaired, and that I should be able to get it back in about three weeks. Boy, was I wrong. Without going through all the gory details, I have been told, twice by customer service representatives and twice through their robo call system, that my mower is ready. One time, it was not even at the store - and the other three times it was not repaired. Now I'm told that they can't get the parts. This is a Toro, not some obscure brand. So, they repair mowers and they can't fix a popular brand? What is worse, in the intervening 8 weeks, it appears that Sears has managed to lose a part, scratch up the decal and chip the paint. And, the last time I saw it, my poor little mower, which had lived a coddled existence in my garage, was FILTHY. I will be asking my friend, yet again, to accompany me to pick up my still-not-working mower. And I will never again assume that Sears is a reputable company.
Description of Work: Fail to fix my lawnmower - and, in the process, lose a part and scratch up the paint and decals.

We got a very good deal and that included installation and delivery. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in picking out not only everything that matched. We got a small condo so they helped us find appliances that would fit and they made sure that they would all get delivered and installed without any problems and it was just so easy. It was just one place to go to get everything and there were no problems. It was just the easiest process I've ever done.
Description of Work: We just purchased all our appliances from Sears. We purchased a kitchen range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave with a connection and they were all installed.

The service they provided was completely uncalled for. We set up a time to have the instructor to come to our house because of our work schedule. Was suppose to arrive at 5PM... NEVER ARRIVED! I called and spoke to the manager they said they had us down for 7PM. So I took it as a scheduling miss communication. 7PM came... STILL HASN'T ARRIVED! Called them up AGAIN! said they would give me an additional free hour of training but only for night time! I requested they give me someone else, but all they had was the one Spanish speaking driver. Overall I'm better off getting certified myself and teaching my wife myself.
Description of Work: My wife is speaks Spanish, so we requested to get some driving lessons from a Spanish speaking driving instructor.

SEARS have a 1800 number that you call and then they send somebody, the sales representative, he will send you the unit or the things that you need. They were offering 0% for 12 months that's why I went to them. We have a small house but I wanted something that could off the house because there are no trees around here. The product is good and the guys that worked were top-notch but you couldn't get the same guys. You call their number and they send you somebody else. They needed to do cleaning once a year but it's not the same guy that installed it so that's the part that is maybe a little bit leery. That's the part that I don't like very much because I like to deal with the same people who came to install it. The price was good although I could have gotten it cheaper. They were here and they did their job in one day. They worked until they finished it. They have been professional, I'm so sorry for them, they worked in the heat and part of their job was they had to go in the roof and they never stopped to chat. I will use them again if they send the same guys.
Description of Work: We bought a condenser unit that cools off the house.
