Personal Touch Tree Service

Jim Breaux, owner of the company and certified Arborist, showed up withing 8 hours to examine the damage and give us a quote.  He assigned a crew the next day to take care of the huge tree limb so the wires could be replaced.The rest of the work was performed the next week after the ice melted (as was explained by Mr. Breaux in advance).  The crew did an excellent job and cleaned up after the job and hauled off all of the debris. I had several fly by night people stop by and ask to do the work and their prices were actually more than I was charged by Personal Touch.  I will use them for all my future tree work.

They did a great job, started and completed on time and cleaned up the debris completely, finally moving patio furniture back into place after the trimming was completed.

The first appt was changed due to the person being in the hospital for heat exhaustion (which was totally understandable).  He came a few days later and got right to work.  He did an excellent job and cleaned up the area around where the grinding was done.  He gave me instructions on leaving the mulch to settle and then add soil to the area.  I was very satisfied with his work. 

Austin Breaux provided professional diagnosis of the issues with our trees.  He supervised the work that we agreed to.  We will definitely use Personal Touch Tree Service again.

Austen Breaux came by the house, looked at the trees and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable compared to two other quotes I obtained, plus he seemed very knowledgeable, so I gave him the go-ahead on the spot. A few days later they arrived on time as scheduled, and finished the work in about three hours. They left the backyard so clean, it was difficult to tell a tree service had been out, except that our trees really look great. They did a REALLY good job!

This was a great company. I would recommend them to others. They were over the top in terms of taking care of the trees and cleaning up after themselves. Tremendous in every respect. I hight recommend them.

Owner came out himself to do estimate. I had to wait about a week for the estimate because he was out of town after a death in the family - to my surprise he came out the afternoon that he returned to town. I felt he gave a better explanation than the other two companies I contacted of what should be done, plus listened to my concerns and objectives. He neither minimized the extent of the job, nor did he push to do more than I thought was required. He emphasized using a company that had certified arborists and that had liability insurance. He also gave me a 5% senior discount. The crew came a bit earlier than expected on the expected date, but not so early that is was a problem. They removed all the debris and cleaned up after themselves. I was a bit concerned that none of them spoke English fluently, and I'm not sure they in fact were trained as arborists. They didn't mind as I checked on what they were doing from time to time and when I had questions they did explain pretty much why they were removing the limbs I asked about. I think they may have removed a few too many limbs on the lower parts of the trees, but I'm not an arborist. All the trees appear to be doing well. The ones on the side yard have been there for more than 16 years, the red oak in front for almost 10 years. I probably will use them again, but next time I'll ask specifically about the training of the crew that will do the work.

Personal Touch was pretty good. The owner came out and did not charge me to tell me what needed to be done.

They have been around for about 30 years and are a reputed company. The people who came out were really very nice. They were on time too. Everything including the pricing was great. They were just excellent.

They were pretty good, but I don't think I used them. The price included replanting the new tree. I just got a better deal with a lower price. It was basically the pricing and my comfort feeling that made me use the other company.

They were wonderful, and my experience with them was very good. They sent somebody over to basically give us an estimate. We accepted the estimate. They came back, trimmed the tree and took everything away. They did exactly what they had promised. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.

Terrific! A large limb of large, old ash broke off and landed in neighbor's driveway. A very large limb, still partially attached at top. Called at least 10 or 12 tree service companies trying to find 1 that would come at all, let alone quickly, for a relatively small job at busy time. A company with which I had previously done much business was "too busy"! Others quoted on phone (sight unseen) outrageous price, or just didn't return call timely or at all. Jim came out quickly, personally used his chain saw to remove the limb from neighbor drive, and sent out a crew next morning to finish job. They did exactly what they said, cleaned up extremely well, and charged a VERY reasonable price. Would never go back to the other guys again. Will ONLY use this company for future work.
