I did not even try to call them to complain. I just took it off my list and won?t use them again.
I don?t remember the cost but I know they were quite high especially that they did not clean my rug well. It took them two weeks, so I guess that was not punctual. It was my husband who took the rug to their place and I did not have any contact with any of them.
"I am sorry you were so unhappy with our service. Our records indicate the service was performed in MARCH OF 2011, over 3.5 years ago. We do not have any record of any complaint at that time so we were not able to try and remedy your issue. The cost to clean a 6x9 at that time was $150 plus tax. Our turnaround time is always about 2 weeks, depending on the time of year and the extent of the service required. We are happy to quote prices and turnaround time when asked either at the time the rug is dropped off or on the telephone."
We had a very good experience with them, from the first call to the final delivery. They picked up the rugs and returned them when promised. I also liked that there was no chemical smell at all since we have a dog. The rugs were fresh, the fringe was clean again and the rugs felt thick again. I will definitely use Oriental Rug Cleaning again.
"We cleaned 3 rugs with live moths for [member name removed] in 11/21/11. He inquired by telephone for estimates to clean 2 rugs, a 7x10 ($195/70 square feet) and 3x12 ($100/36 square feet) for a total of 106 square feet. He sent in 3 rugs, 2 larger than he inquired about, and a third rug: 7.5x11 ($230/82 square feet), 3.8x5.3 ($55/19 square feet), and 3.9x13.6 ($140/51 square feet) for a total of 152 square feet. This is why the cost was greater than he was given on the phone. He was notified of these differences and that one rug had live moths on 11/28/11. This is the first time (1.5 years later) we have heard of his dissatisfaction."
It was a host cleaning system, it is eco-friendly and does not use water extraction.
They did an excellent job. They were very efficient and timely, for the amount of rugs we took in there. They are one of the few who you can depend on to do a good job of getting your rugs clean. They have techniques for that purpose. They are very knowledgeable. They are not the cheapest in Dallas, but they are worth it. The quality was excellent. They didn't get them out the exact day they said they would. I would absolutely use this company again.
