Description of Work: I have used Kozy previously without problems. This time when I called on the 18th of May I couldn't get an appointment until Friday May 22nd. My AC was blowing continually warm air. The Kozy Technician told me that I needed a completely new unit as my Central air exchange was too old and that parts were no longer made for it. I was surprised and said that the last time this happened the unit just needed the coils cleaned and freon. He told me that I was wrong and that his office would call me with a quote on a new unit. No one ever called me that afternoon or the next day. I called another company Cody and Sons. They came out the next day. Cody and Sons found that I needed the coils cleaned and they added freon. My AC is working wonderfully. I am shocked that the Kozy technician wanted to have me buy a new unit for thousands of dollars.

Description of Work: They replaced a capacitor, explained about the problem I called about, and showed me how to use the heat pump more effectively.

Description of Work: After 3 trips they finally got my AC up and running but not before they manage to catch the AC on fire as well as the fence. They are acting that by just splicing the wires that burned and wrapping them with electrical tape is good enough. Very friendly staff but I've asked for a senior person to come out and nobody bothers. Their entire attitude is more like I'm bothering them. I have a funeral to attend tomorrow but after that I get to look forward to calling my home warranty and asking them what they propose as a fix.

Description of Work: They came out the day my AC went on the blink. They took a part of system. - blower module - back to shop to repair or order new part. A new part was needed and they were able to use the warranty to reduce costs. (Back in 2007, Kozy installed a new HVAC system in my house) They worked as quickly as possible to get job done.

Description of Work: I called my warranty company for a clogged A/C drain issue. Kozy was sent to correct the issue. They provided a 4 hour window to arrive and came about two hours in. Julio was professional and corrected the problem in less than an hour.

Description of Work: They installed a new heating and air-conditioning unit, including blowing insulation.

Description of Work: Kozy Services repaired a short, added Freon, checked the system, and fixed several ducts that were smashed or undone.
