The installation went well. The technician showed up on time and installed the phone modem. Equipment worked right from the start. Installation was part of a new bundled pricing package so install was free.
My only complaint actually is with Grande's customer service/financial section. They were unable to get the fees adjusted properly for several months. In addition, for a communication company, the option to pay your monthly bill electronically is very limited. Almost every other company will accept direct electronic funds transfer FROM a bank (in my case, Chase Bank). But for some unknown reason, Grande will only allow funds transfer using their service which reach into your accounts. As it stands, I write a paper check each month to avoid using their financial funds service. My hesitancy is also based on some payment issues when my account was first started. Those took several months of communications (and copies of documentation) to resolve satisfactorily.
