Great - he flipped the breaker on the very old house panel and it started working!

We thought that we would need to start looking for a new fridge. The first repair place that I called did not show up. I then resorted to Angie's List and called the first appliance repair listing with the most positive reviews. I'm glad I did. I first spoke with Glenn Sr., who said that his son would call me. He did. Within hours, Glenn Jr. arrived and assessed and repaired the refrigerator. It was the compressor starter unit which had burned out. Glenn just happened to have a replacement in his truck. Our refrigerator is back in business, cooling wonderfully. We are very grateful. The price for the repair was very fair and reasonable.

Great. Glen diagnosed the problem within minutes and resolved the issue. He also made suggestions to make sure the dryer was vented properly to avoid future problems.

I called and Glenn answered right away. He was very helpful in diagnosing the problem over the phone and explaining what was wrong with the washer. He stated that it would be better to buy a new washing machine because it would be about the same price to fix it. He also gave me recommendations as to which brands are the best to buy. I was very impressed with the call!

He did a great job. He's also cat-approved as my cat followed him around the whole time he was here. I had a warranty with Home Depot, but they only patched the issue. He was actually able to fix my refrigerator and his prices were reasonable.

Called late on Thursday afternoon. Provided detail of problem and Kitchenaid model number to Mr. Townsend by text. Mr Townsend (jr) appeared punctually on Friday morning. He diagnosed the problem as a burned out connection (house copper wiring to dishwasher aluminum wiring), explained it fully, and replaced the connection. Repair complete. We used Angies List "first time service" coupon reducing our cost by $5.00. Mr Townsend prefers cash or check payment.

Called and Glenn answered the phone. He set an appointment time that was convenient for me after work the same day. Arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He found that my dryer vent was stopped up and said that the part would continue to fail due to extremely high heat until I had the vent cleaned. I was able to find a company to clear the dryer vent and all has been good ever since.

Glenn Jr came out several times to fix, first using quick fixes and then finally replacing the circuit board that turned out to had been fried by a power surge. Each visit costing a separate charge. But one of the quick fixes to defrost the fridge by throwing hot water over the ice build up on the coils curiously kept leaking water into the freezer. After consistently seeing ice sheets build up on the bottom of my freezer for several weeks, it was clear that this was not from the hot water thrown on the coils. And since I do not even have water hooked up to the fridge, it could not be that either. I called to have Glenn Jr come out again since he noticed this at the time it happened as well. After a few days, he came out and checked the drain line and valve which appeared to be functioning. But again, water kept appearing and freezing at the bottom of my freezer. I called several more times to get a repair appointment set up, but after 10 days of rescheduling on Glenn Jr's part and then just plain non-responsiveness for the last 4 days, I finally called another company to do the repair. Turns out that the ice build up had not been fully addressed, causing water to leak and pool. Glenn Sr sounds like he's on top of things from a first point of contact, but Glenn Jr who does the work, is nice enough but not thorough enough, hence the repeated visits. After the initial visits, the fridge started to make a loud and regular buzzing noise that turned out to be that Glenn Jr forgot to disable the ice maker when reassembling the freezer. Since there was no water connection to the fridge, it couldn't make ice but all it could make was a loud noise! There does not appear to be a warranty on work done. I prefer supporting mom and pop shops, but this has cost me too much money and most importantly, time and energy.

He came out on a Sunday and checked my dishwasher found that the washer pump was out. Paid $35.00 service call. Very reasonable.

When I contacted Mr Townsend he asked me what my machine was doing. I explained and he said it was one of two things. He asked me if I knew the model number and said he would be there in 20 minutes. He checked out the machine and said it was the clutch (one of his initial diagnosis). It took him approximately an hour. He quoted me an amount to check it out and it was included in the finally repair cost. The repair cost was much cheaper than purchasing a new machine. I've washed about 20 loads since the repair and haven't had any issues. Thank you again Mr Townsend.

We called and spoke with them 4 times over 2 days. Very rude on the phone! Made promises to show up 3 times. Never showed and no phone calls.

Glenn is great! He answered the phone when I called and came out to my home in 30 minutes. He quickly figured out that my refrigerator needed a new compressor, suggested I call Sears and get a new one with a warranty or get a new refrigerator. He only charged me $35 for the service call. I will definitely use him again!

He came in and diagnosed the problem in an instant. Then he fixed it quickly and easily. I had called the manufacturer's help line and they told me it would be a flat fee of $400 or just $100 to come out and look at the oven. So glad I called Glenn instead. His number is going on the fridge.

Glenn called sooner after I sent a request. I described what was going on with my washer and he knew exactly what it was. Rather than charge me to repair, he advised it would be better and the same money if not less expensive to buy a new machine. This is what I had already assumed and appreciate the quick and straight forward response. I will definitely call Glenn when I need something else repaired.

Glenn answered my call immediately and listened to the problem. He offered me a couple solutions to try on my own and then asked for the model number to research another idea. He called me right back and we worked through it. The compressor started. He was knowledgeable, courteous and practical. Even though he did not charge me for the consultation, his input was perfect. Glenn will DEFINITELY be my first call for assistance with repairs on any large appliance!
