Glenn was prompt and I felt his charge was reasonable for the time spent.

He was prompt (actually early but called to make sure it would be OK) and started to work right away. The only reason I gave him a B on professionalism is that he was confused by the wiring setup on the new disposal and did not take initiative to find out what he needed to know. I had to find the phone number on the box and call the company so they could explain. Once that was worked out he completed the job efficiently.

I contacted Mr. Townsend about my "possessed" front load GE washing machine. Mr. Townsend was very polite and originally stated he could come out the following day. About an hour later he called back & was able to see me within the hour. When he arrived, he immediately went to work. He diagnosed my problem as a bad circuit board and stated he would not quote me a price since he would have to order it and didn't want to mislead me with a guess-timate (which I completely appreciated). The diagnostic fee was only $35. The following morning Mr. Townsend called me back & quoted me $425 to replace the board. He advised me that it would probably be more cost effective if I purchased a new unit as opposed to trying to fix my 5 year old washer. I was so appreciative of his honesty and candor. Instead of trying to push a high repair bill on me, he recommended what would be in MY best interest. Most repair representatives are all about the sale, not the customer. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Townsend to my friends and neighbors. His professionalism and honesty is so rarely found and an obvious treasure.

Glenn was quick to respond to my call and set up an appointment. He arrived right on time and went straight to work.

Called Glenn when the oven in my rental house stopped working. He spoke to the tenant and determined that it was probably the heating element and so he arranged a time with the tenant to come out. He came with the part in hand and replaced the element. That did turn out to be the problem. Glenn was professional, fair priced, and did a good job. I would hire him again.

Oven in rental unit we manage was not working. I called Glen and he called the tenant. Glen called me back and told me that based on what the tenant was experiencing it was one of two issues. He quoted for both and said he would have both parts with him at the service call. He called me after the service call and told me it was the lesser of the two quotes he had given me.

We called Glenn to arrange a service call to troubleshoot my underperforming dishwasher, which was leaving spots on the dishes (worse than normally acceptable), and generally not performing up to spec . He scheduled a visit for the next day. Glenn's son was the technician making the actual call, and he was prompt and professional in analyzing our issue, testing our machine, and recommending corrective action. The service call itself was only $35, and apparently no parts or additional labor were required. Glenn called us the next day with two additional suggestions that he felt would result in cleaner dishes. We did not complete all of the suggested remedies for our problem immediately because of timing constraints and active use of the still underperforming dishwasher, but we are fully satisfied by our excellent experience with this provider. In fact, I called Glenn back today (11/16/12), based on his assurance on the phone that they would be available if we had further problems, to report on a particularly bad batch of dishes we encountered when we unloaded the dishwasher this morning. After discussing further steps that might possibly address the problem, which Glenn was convinced was not mechanical, based on his son's report, we arrived at the possibility that the use of powdered detergent might be the culprit. Experimentation with liquid detergent is still underway, but based on the experience thus far, Glenn provided everything we paid for, and then some. We will definitely call him first the next time we have an appliance problem.

He fixed everything just fine. I am very pleased with this company. He always does a great job and have had him out several times over the past 22 years. He has repaired my oven, refrigerators, whatever I have a need for. He always answers the phone and if not, he will call you back. I am an elderly woman and don't like many people in my home, but I definitely trust Glenn. He is very responsible, dependable, honest, and does a great quality work.

When I called Glen and told him my washing machine was sometimes not going thru the rinse and spin cycles, he said it was probably the timer. He came over immediately and ran the machine and confirmed the problem was the timer. He gave me an estimate of $225. He called a few days later and said he had found the part a little cheaper but that it would take a few more days to be delivered. He said the new estimate was $200. He told me to go ahead and be using the machine and if it messed up to call him and he would come immediately to get it to go to the rinse cycle. I was able to do several loads without a problem. When the timer came in he called and asked me when I would like him to come and install it. I asked if he could come on Saturday and he did. He quickly installed the new timer and let me know it had a one year warranty. He charged me $175. With the $35 charge for the initial visit and diagnosis, the total was $210.

We woke up to find our dryer was not working right before church on Sunday morning. After we called our regular repairman and left a message with a promise of return call on Monday between 8 am to 5 pm. I had a 2 loads of laundry that needed to be dried. I search angieslist and found that Glenn' appliance had received several A ratings. I called and was surprise to get someone on the phone. I spoke with Glenn and he said he would be happy to come over and check the dryer. He was here in 20 minutes and had diagnosis ed repaired the dryer with in an hour. He was prompt,kind, and professional. WE ARE VERY VERY HAPPY!! We can recommend this gentleman and his company without any reservations!!!

It went as well as it could have. He came to fix our dishwasher but left fixing our dryer.

As I stated above, Glenn has worked on all of our appliances over the past 20 years and we have never had to call him back to redo anything. He always fixed whatever was broken in one visit. My family has always found Glenn to be a pleasure to be around.

It was a good experience. I've been using Glenn for years and I wouldn't use anyone else to fix my appliances. He is very fast, reasonable, and knowledgeable.

We were extremely pleased with the service that Glenn and his son provided on our Washing Machine. As my husband said, " It was so wonderful to see a man so committed, knowledgeable, and committed to doing a great job at a fair price!" They are very knowledgeable of machines of every model and the parts required by each. They were able to diagnose the problem over the phone and they fixed the machine within two days....that's a record in my book. They were on time and even called me to say that they were coming. They were honest in their assessment and only made promises that could be kept. Furthermore, their price was very fair. I will definitely use them when I need my next repair.

Glenn came in and went straight to work. Didn't quit until he finished the work. He cleaned everything up and put things back, explained everything along the way. He was very reasonably priced.

I was very pleased with the service. Glenn answered the phone (no confusing voice mail system) and made himself available to come out to my house only two hours after my call. He immediately remedied the problem and the repair was done very quickly. He was pleasant and very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I would definitely hire him again.

Glenn has been to our house for several fixes. He was on time it only took him a few minutes to know what to fix or order and then he did the repair in a very timely manner.

I've used Glenn many times over the years. He's very prompt, fair, and dependable. I've never had a problem with him and sometimes he'll check and if it's nothing, he'll only charge a small service fee. I will absolutely use him again.

My washer broke, I called Glenn's repair and he set a time to come and he was on time. He had the part I needed and he put it in, cleaned up his mess. I paid him 75.00, he said thank youi said thank YOU. The washer is working good now.

My washer didn't rinse and stopped with the water sitting in the machine, so I called him this mornning (Sunday !!) after reading reviews on Angie's List. Glen answered the phone right away and diagnosed the problem on the phone (lid switch off) and promised to come within an hour. I had called another person on the List first, but he couldn't come until later next week, so I decided to work with him. By the way, both men had the same diagnosis, but Glen's price was $20 lower than the other man. He was courteous to call me when he was running a little late. He came shortly after and put a new a lid switch as he predicted. So now the washer was able to rinse and spin. Then I put half of the load I had taken out back in the machine and tried to rinse, but it stopped again, so I ran to him who was about to leave in his car. He came inside and worked with the knot again, waiting for a rinse and spin cycle to complete. After all, it worked. After he left, I've been washing a new load of laundry successfully. I'm glad I don't have to buy a new washer. I'm pleased it was fixed today, the same day I called, especially on Sunday. On a side note, I asked for another repair work with my dishwasher. He looked at it and said he could put a new hose. He wrote down the model number and said he would call me tomomrrow for the repair job with a new hose. Hope it will go well, too.
