"All of our technicians work for us directly. We do not hire subcontractors. Upon inspection of the dryer duct, the technician found severe lint blockage throughout, requiring a deep cleaning from both ends of the duct which ended up costing more than our originally scheduled basic service. There is no way to tell if a deep cleaning is necessary until an inspection is performed. That being said, we do not pressure anyone. We are always professional and provide the best customer service and competitive pricing."
"I am sorry to hear about your bad experience Cynthia. Our office is always available for our customers in case you have questions or concerns. Services and pricing can vary with fireplaces and chimneys depending on many factors, however. Gas vs wood-burning fireplace, level 2 or 3 creosote build-up can definitely add to the cost of a chimney sweep service as well. Also, if any repairs are needed such as crack repair in the firebox, chimney, or crown, installation/replacement of parts such as chimney cap, damper, or new gas logs. As you can see, what you paid in the past for a previous chimney sweep may be comparing apples to oranges depending on the condition of your fireplace and chimney in your previous home and what was recommended per inspection of your current system.
