Description of Work: This was a replacement sofa that was outside of the warranty period. I have been having problems with marks developing on the seat that we can't explain. This took awhile but I finally got the store assistant manager to help me and I got the replacement sofa. Hopefully the same thing won't happen with this one.

We bought a couch with the extended warranty and was told that if anything happened they would come out and take care of it. They came out and sprayed something that made the whole house smell and it changed the color of the couch. It left white powder everywhere. I've been working with them for over 6 months to try and get this settled. They called and said they would bring a new couch out but they have no idea what couch I have now so i don't know what I'm getting.

Over a year ago, a sofa and two chairs were purchased by my mother. The foam cushion inserts failed within a month of daily use. They have been replaced four times and the furniture has been returned to the manufacturer once and returned. The foam cushion inserts still fail. FREED'S will not take the furniture back even after repeated visits by their techs. Obviously, they will not stand behind their satisfaction warranty, and the cushioning material continues to fail again and again. Freeds are sending another tech out next week. It looks as though they are willing to play this expensive game rather than simply refund her money and acknowledge there is a flaw with the foam insert selection being used. When my mother spoke with the service representative and wanted to escalate this issue, no information as to who to contact was provided. Apparently this person does not have a boss. Sales are great and their process is smooth. Don't expect much out of their warranty, though.

This is my second experience with Freed's. Got excellent, professional service each time. For this sofa purchase, I was deciding between two sofas with similar pricing. The salesperson (Kay) without any prompting from me went to their online site to see if either sofa had an online deal not marked in the store. One did, and I was able to save $150 I would not even have known about otherwise. No pressure, no hovering and lots of choices of excellent, well-made furniture. Their pricing is close to those at discount stores, but the quality is vastly superior. I appreciate the variety of styles they carry--as I go more for a mid-century-type clean-lined look, it's hard to find furniture I like, but they had a nice selection. Delivery charge of $99 is a little steep, though.

Sales person was extremely helpful in finding items I would be interested in, answering questions, and offering tips, but not high-pressure. After searching other stores and the internet, I called the original sales person and he did everything over the phone to place my order. I am very pleased with the experience and the furniture.
Description of Work: Furniture delivery and set up staff were professional and coureous. Furniture quality is excellent.

The furniture has better pricing than Rooms To Go, Ashley, etc. Also the furniture is higher quality than the previous mentioned stores. We had a slight problem with the dinette set we purchased-there was a cap missing on one of the chair legs, and I was concerned with some distressed marks on the table. I was alittle put off with the delivery guys, and also when I called to schedule a time for the repairs. But I have to tell you our salesman, Robert Simpson got right on it. Everything was repaired to our satisfaction. Robert was very accommodating-e-mailed pictures, moved furniture around the store so we could get a better idea of size. We really had a very positive experience with Freed's
Description of Work: We are new to the area, and passed the store and stopped. I am very glad we did. We purchased 4 Electric recliners for the media room, and a dinette set for the breakfast room.
